Hi. Lawyer here. Seeing comments about your wife being able to get masters from her law degree but I'm concerned she may not get the points/work experience for it. You don't qualify to practice as a Lawyer until after you have been called to bar, i.e Law school. And there's a question about when you became qualified to practice your profession when doing the application after getting ITA. And that really is after law school, not after your LLB. You can try, seeing as IQAS evaluates just the LLB and the NOC requirement for Lawyers I think is University degree but my own concern is when it is submitted and the person reviewing it goes through the application. I don't know if its possible to get points for Masters evaluation and then your work experience is not the same thing. My thoughts are a bit all over the place but I hope you understand. For her work experience, maybe she can use Paralegal NOC

Wife: Law degree (LLB), no law school yet but completed NYSC in a law firm. Will be 25 next month.
Me: Bsc. Computer Science obtained in 2011. Spent 10 years working in the civil service. 33 this year March.

Please, nairalanders, I need help, I applied for canada work permit since march 2021, I did my biometric in December 2021 and since then I didn't here any thing or receive any email.
Only to get a WhatsApp message from my agent that I am to submit my passport to the Vac center for visa stamping on July 1, 2023.
The issue now is that the date on the letter is 19th April 2023 and it is clearly stated on the letter that failure to submit after 30days of the letter may lead to the visa refusal.
Please I need a professional advice now.
What can I do, should I go and submit or what should I do?

The agent in canada was the cause of all these, he doesn't check his emails regularly and the e mail was not sent to me.

The personal history had their full employment stated which covered for the years requested. Were they supposed to state the full employment and the business for the same period?

Someone got a letter today requesting she provides more detailed proof of funds, which could reflect the source of her income.

She submitted her application with fixed deposit receipt.

Question: By more detailed proof of funds, do they mean her account statement ? Her account from where the fixed deposit was raised from has funds paid in from a business account. The business account is theirs but not stated in the personal history since they have full employment which were all stated in personal history.

Will it be an issue if they state that the business name is theirs even though it was not in the personal history?
