Engineers hold this industry a lot. 90% or 95% is Engineering.

The oil sector is a place where Engineers are like demigods. I just want to be in the maintenance department where Engineers are workship like God

During the Korean war, when north Korea invaded south Korea then US came to the aid of South Korea, did they win the war? The answer is NO. That was Armistice that was signed that they were still technically at war.

After the war, south Korea lost more 3 million people and military personnel while North Korea lost more 1 million people and military personnel.

Analyst said, " if there is a war in the Korean peninsular, North Korea will kill 1 million people within 24hours."

That casualties you are taking about will come from South Korea and Japan not North Korea.

It is too clear US can't defeat North Korea in a conventional war. North Korea is armed to the teeth.

Even the Korean war, south korea lost more than north Korea.

Invading Kim Jong-Un is a suicide mission.

US is afraid. South Korea is afraid. Japan is afraid.

Kim Jong-Un military is more than 1million personnel. So, invading large amount of military personnel is impossible.

And it is impossible to invade North Korea with such amount of military personnel but they are well armed.

Kim Jong-Un has chemical and biological weapons. And US is aware of this.

US has no option than to accept North Korea into the international community and stop hostilities in Korean peninsular. These are Kim Jong-Un demands.

North Korea is a threat to US not to the world.

Please help me out here. I am in a state of dilemma. I just want to know among Germany, US, Australia or Canada which of these countries automechanic is lucrative. After spending some years with them, my intention is to travel to any of the above. I don't want to travel to any of the country and be looking for what to do because I am a hands-on automechanic.

I studied Mechanical Engineering. Currently, I am engaged with an automobile company , an affiliation of Toyota Motor Corporation.

All comments are entertained.

Pls Mods and those in the above countries should help me out.

Today they are still looking for good jobs.

The system has failed.

The number of jobs can't go round.

Truly, there are very few positions that don't have people with the necessary skills to fill them.

Zahra Buhari schooled in UK, that is President Buhari daughter. Other children also schooled in abroad. Leadership is by example.


Let me ask this OP some questions.

He said Engineers should know Computer Aided Design/Drafting (CAD). Where can you get an institute you can learn computer-Aided Manufacturing and computer aided engineering in Nigeria? Mr. op I doubt.

OP, I am a Mechanical Engineer, do you think this software used in Engineering is easy to learn or get? Pls OP, mention any Nigerian University that has CAD installed in their systems or using it to teach students?

Op,learn me remind you. Being in the automotive industry, I discovered CATIA that is used in the automotive and aircraft industries to design tyres and other mechanical systems can only be found with carmakers like Toyota, Volkswagen, Honda, Hyundai, GMC, Chevrolet, Ford etc. Do you know why? Because this software CATIA is expensive.

MechDesigner that is used to design Cams, gears(simple, compound, epicyclic and planetary), to design complete machines, giving the exact motions to each mechanism and cam. This software is not easy to get an institute to learn it except you travel to India, Germany, US, Canada and other foreign countries. Mind you Mr. Op not every engineers can afford it.


Other softwares like SolidWorks, Pro/E wildfire/Creo Parametric can't be learned easily in Nigeria because no institute is offering them.

To the unemployed graduates out there, pls don't wait for this government.

Lastly, op I am engaged with an Automobile Company. My interpersonal relationship I created with the CEO and God after my industrial training gave me the job. In fact, the day came that was the day I resumed.

Man knows man is the key to get a good job in Nigeria.

DPR isn't a do or die affair.. I believe some people will commit suicide if they don't get this job.

For one thing I am not really too freaked about it, like a celebrity said, for you to be successful in life, it has to be with something you really love and can be willing to die for it..


I want to tell the Chief of Naval staff openly that I have passion for the Nigerian Navy and its just one thing I am willing to die for.. Its a pity I still am not able to get in due to corruption..

The federal govt needs to recruit people who are willing to offer 100percent of their lives to a job.. That way the system will be effective.. And there will be no corruption.

Simple instruction said, go to Abuja office

Good Day DPR shortlisted Applicants,

Yesterday, the DPR conducted aptitude test in Jabi, Abuja. From a reliable source, who was shortlisted too and took part, he, " they said should be up to 50 or more than 50 applicants that wrote the test." The aptitude test was for OND holders who applied last year manually via their office in Jabi, Abuja.

The source said the questions were 50 and from Current Affairs, Mathematics, English and Chemistry. The source didn't have a science background, studied a business course. So, expect questions from the above listed.

According to the source, some of the questions he told are (just for current affairs only):

1) When was the last America's election conducted (November 8, 2016)
2) Who was the senator that contested the senate presidency with Sen. Bukola Saraki ( Sen. Lawal Admed)
3) Abdulmunin Jubrin was suspended in how many legislative days (180)
4) Who said he will tear his diplomatic America's visa if Donald Trump win the election? (Prof. Sole Soyinka).

These are all I could recall.

Thanks to God I was shortlisted for the DPR test on 26th, Abuja center.

I believe this will be a useful information for the DPR shortlisted applicants.
