That's always been the PDP position. Didn't one of them tell the masses phones were not for poor people. Whether it's political or economic democratisation, PDP is rarely on the side of the masses. |
yesssss! |
Dragonking:True, but hopefully not today |
United down to 10 men! |
mukina2:He's better tracking back than Walcott |
This is very nervy! Difficult to trust Arsenal in these situations. C'mon gunners! |
Op should have ironed this out from day 1 of the relationship, rather than wait until marriage is in the offing. Now, you're either going to go along to his church and be frustrated about it (forever?), or you marry, attend a separate church but end up with a bitter, frustrated man who feels humiliated by a wife who defy him to attend a different church. This can infest your entire relationship as husband and wife and ruin your mutual happiness for a long time to come. Think carefully about your choice. A'boro lan so fun omoluabi o! |
bettercreature:this is just ridiculous. |
aboy247:So you saw Mr Tinubu wearing a balaclava, and carrying a can of petrol with matches? Pls kindly pass this valuable information to the Police. |
FFK faces years of ruinous litigation battles ![]() If his Oga, Mr Jonathan loses the election, FFK will receive the shock of his life when none of the PDP big wigs will answer his call anymore. Outside of politics, I cant imagine any of them would want to associate with a man like FFK. He'll soon be on his own. |
IGBOSON1:Calm down. If there's not Igbo person there today, they can be there next year. |
Just because someone claims you owe them money does not mean you owe them money. When the full story unfolds in court, you will suddenly realise there is another side of the story which we have not heard yet. Wait & see |
A few successful suits against AIT will set it on the road to bankruptcy. |
Why would AIT tie its entire existence as a company on the political fortunes of one man. What happens to AIT if Mr Jonathan loses? A handful of successive law suits can bring this company down. |
Firefire:I normally get the 4.5GB. Dont need 12GB per month. It's actually 12GB (not 10GB as I indicated) for N5000! |
Firefire:GLO 10GB = 5,000NGN (Monthly). Exceptional value |
I will finally be a proud Nigerian if Mr Buhari becomes the President of this country. No more hiding my country of origin when I am abroad! |
This man is far more comfortable as a leader facing an international audience of some of the world's leading newspapers (London Times, the Guardian, New York Times etc) than Mr Jonathan with his PHD can dream of. These are tough award winning international correspondents and reporters, and believe me they are no mugus. Buhari left them believing that he's the man to finally make Africa's prostrate giant roar with pride again. |

He's very relaxed and cracking jokes in the middle of speech. Audience interjecting with claps and laughter! |
"By nature, military rule is dictatorial. I accept that. I take responsibility for everything that happened under my watch as a military leader" Huge roar and clapping from the audience!! |
First time I have heard Buhari speak! Listening on radio now, the poise of the man is unbelievable. Yes I had to stretch my hears to pick out one or two words due to his diction, but what a beautifully poised delivery and we should be proud of our various local diction, of which the Hausa one is really beautiful! We are not English people please!! The man's calmness and poise was absolutely immense. You can tell the man has tons of leadership experience. He certainly will not be shaking and sweating profusely in the face of routine questions from the likes of the CNN woman, Amanpour. |
No President of a respectable country would appoint a man being prosecuted for money laundering as his chief election spokesman. Mr Jonathan's reasoning beggars belief. |
Why do you guys go around painting yourselves as some kind of victim when that is clearly not the case. This is a terrible trait. Yoruba supporters of APC are constantly called Northern/Hausa/Fulani slaves by mostly Igbo contributors and you pretend never to have seen that. Why cant you guys take things on the chin, particularly when you are also protagonists. |
This statement was issued by the Director, Media, Information Management Directorate of his Support Organization, otherwise called, BSO, Dr. Chidi Maduekwe. So this report is not even from APC's campaign team. Who is this Dr Maduekwe. There is zero evidence that PDP machinations are gaining any traction on the streets, so why call a press conference threatening to withdraw from a peace accord. This only lends credence to PDP's propaganda that Mr Buhari is a violent man. This sort of press conference is exactly what PDP wants. APC needs to take full control of Mr Buhari's publicity machine and not allow fringe organisations that are susceptible to PDP bribery to issue any statement or hold any press statement claiming to speak for Mr Buhari. All media matters must be centralised and go through a single verified APC channel. It is possible that this Dr Maduekwe is under PDP influence. Dont laugh! PDP are spending shed load of money and are ready to buy anybody. |
It depends on what you expect from the man. If you expect him to turn Nigeria into an African Eldorado, then expect disappointment. Mr Joanthan and his gang have looted Nigeria dry. There will be little money for a Buhari govt to work with. If you expect a leader who fights corruption and in the process reduce most of our problems, then Mr Buhari is your man. |
If the govt has nothing to hide, it should release the full report. |
The funny thing is that our 'Military intelligence' people assuming we have something like that are probably not aware of this secret satellite. This is the same intelligence outfit that could not crack a simple password to APC's laptop ![]() Most of them are probably eating fresh fish and downing beer at joints in Abuja as we speak. Wetin concern them with what their rival, South Africa, is doing. |
You mean the Made in China one? It's out of service. I think it fell out of orbit or something along those lines. Trust Nigeria. We ran to China, dropped over $100 million and they gave us what they had, which obviously was not the best. |
http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/feb/25/south-africa-spied-government-facts-joint-russian-project South Africa’s government is spending $100m on satellite surveillance programme with Russia. The satellite system, known as Project Condor, which was launched into orbit by Russia in December last year, provides surveillance coverage of the entire African continent. The project has been shrouded in secrecy, with Russia originally refusing to reveal who its client was. But a South African intelligence report records a briefing from an agent codenamed “Agent Africanist”, who is identified as having direct links with the government in Moscow and Russian intelligence officers, including those closely involved in the joint satellite project. Project Condor would, the agent reported, place “South Africa in a position to conduct its own aerial surveillance in Africa, potentially right up to Israel for strategic military purposes”. The satellite system, which is reported to be costing Pretoria $100m, has been the focus of criticism in South Africa since some details emerged in local media. The scheme, first proposed eight years ago, has been reported as being the pet project of General Moretti Motau, former head of South African military intelligence, who has now retired and sits on the board of the weapons firm Armscorp. “Project Condor is regarded as a significant part of the envisaged strategic cooperation” between Russia and South Africa, the secret report states. “Currently, there are 30 Russian technicians working in South Africa in close cooperation with South African authorities on the project.” The report suggests South Africa is seeking closer strategic ties with Russia on the basis of the integration of the Condor project, with another satellite system being developed by Moscow. “The aim is to eventually integrate the two satellite systems and capabilities providing wider strategic coverage with obvious benefits for both countries,” the intelligence document says. I thought Mr Jonathan's govt has been parading Nigeria as Russia's new best friends. Seems Russia does not see things that way. |
