But Mr Jonathan said the tape was fabricated. One has to question whether this man is fit to be President. |
Will ask my pastor on sunday if her share has landed ![]() I'd like to think she would turn it down. But wait...could she accept it. Really? |
I didn't believe when Amaechi first made the allegations. I just couldn't get my head around the idea that Christian pastors would accept a bribe. How naive I was. Christians? Pastors?? Ah...things don fall apart for Nigeria |
Tompolo's war fleet increases by four ships. Yes, I mean Tompolo, the Commander in charge of our maritime security. I hope he knows how to handle these things, so he's not shooting towards Lagos when he's supposed to be firing at oil thieves on the atlantic. Oh I forgot, the man in charge of maritime security is also in charge of syphoning the oil. |
4 more ships to be be added to Tompolo's fleet. Does he know how to operate these things? Afterall, he's in charge of our maritime security. What a country. |
GenBloodykilIer:People say this man should be ignored. But how do you ignore a man threatening rape? It should be possible to trace and arrest this man. But, wither Nigerian Police? Even the owner of this site will not ban IPs. This country is so frustrating. |
GenBloodykilIer:Actually, am not Ashawo nor am I mad. Next question |
You keep opening threads after threads explaining yourself. We told you already - we need no further explanation. Do you have a problem understanding that? |
By the way, shouldn't the N21 billion illegal campaign donation by Mr Jonathan's friends go further than: rice and one tuber of yam; cheap N2,000 mobile phone; and N50 peppermint? PDP - wicked, wicked, wicked. |
Finally a good idea from PDP. We need peppermint to flush out the stink of this dirty, odious, corrupt govt ahead of the inauguration of GMB. |
'Cause when you are left to run it Mr Jonathan, you have shown you are not the right man for the job. Just look at the list of your best friends: Kashamu Bode George Obanikoro Tompolo Fayose Asari Dokubo Omisore Alaseighmega (sorry not sure that's the correct spelling) How can we entrust the fate of our country in the hands of a man that keeps this kind of company? |
So after arrogantly ignoring the invitation of the House of Rep and refusing to say a word on this issue to the millions of long suffering Nigerians for almost a year now, this woman, realising her days in a disappearing government are numbered, now calls a press conference at this eleventh hour to tell us its all lies, we shouldn't believe all the stories ![]() Shebi you told us you did not have to explain anything to anybody. We even begged you. We asked for any explanation 'cause N10 billion to fly to Europe and America in one year was impossible to understand. You told us you did not care, and was under no duty to explain to common people like us. See you life now. Arrogant, shameless woman. |
Even if you are a die hard PDP supporter, cant you see something wrong in someone captured on video in one of the biggest anti-people, anti-democratic scandals of recent times, being nominated as a minister just 2 weeks after the scandal broke? Why is it so important for Mr Jonathan that this man must be made a Minister? After all the other scandals under this President (missing $20 billion; Deziani's N10 billion private jet junket; Alamhesiega's pardon; the President's oil-subsidy thieving friends going scot free etc), this is another example of the President showing total contempt for basic decency. |
The Glo tarriff I am on is so cheap I dont know how the company makes profit. Must be 'Bumpa' or 'Bounce,' not sure which one it is. Thought I wouldn't be able to do without MTN 'cause' of their so-called superior network reach, but I've not used them in more than a year, and the world has not come to an end. Thanks to Glo. |
Arysexy:Yes |
I actually dont see any scandal in his PMs with Gbawe. The guy dealt some major blows to PDP on nairaland with some well researched threads. He did a wonderful job for APC. His effort will have taken a lot of commitment and time. So, why cant he look for a political job (assuming that was what he needed) with APC? My only problem is his lack of principles. If you say you believe in a cause, then stand by it. Or if you're changing, do so for a convincing reason. |
The man keeps trying to explain himself and each time he strikes another blow on whatever is left of his tattered credibility. Man, go! Do your own thing. You owe us no explanation. It's your business. A flip - flopper. A man without principles. |
Op is either naive or he's been mischievous. He says the report by Sahara Reporters lacks credibility becos an interim govt is not part of the constitution, and so it it will not happen. But high - ranking PDP/govt officials are telling us repeatedly they will never hand over to Buhari. If election is conducted and Buhari wins, and they refuse to hand over to him, what does he think will happen? There will be chaos, and in that chaos, Mr Jonathan will simply hand over to someone (most likely a military person), and at that point, the constitution is effectively suspended due to the'extraordinary' circumstances country finds itself in. Even if interim govt is a civilian one, when a country faces existential circumstances, the constitution will take second billing to fixing the country. Afterall, if there's no country, the constitution will be worthless. An interim govt will quickly find justification for its existence. With ING in place, Jonathan achieves his aim. Interim govt will simply say there is a need for a sovereign national conference to resolve all the major issues confronting the country and that only after that wil elections hold. Then you are looking at a minimum of 12 months, by which time GEJ/Madueke are in distant memory and can relax and enjoy their loot. |
anonimi:Thank you o. |
sage2:Nada will happen. |
dunkem21:The Bourdillon compound has fairly high gates - it's certainly not the one in the picture shown. I doubt he actually lives in Bourdillon now. He had to move out because the federal govt stationed spies in one of the block of flats overlooking Tinubu's compound. This happened more than a year ago! The govt has been terrorising the man for a long time ![]() |
ngozionefeli:Dont we all know what happens to those who snap Nigerian military personnel? Please try it yourself and come and tell us the outcome. If the man had snapped them, and the PDP army had waded into his compound to cause trouble, you'd be one of the people asking why he caused a security breach by snapping the military. |
sage2:Its kinda difficult to respect an Army that does not respect itself. We saw how a Brigadier General was humiliated and co-opted into election rigging plan by PDP, in the now infamous Ekiti Election video. A disciplined and professional army will not allow itself to become a tool in the hands of politicians. |
An Army that allows itself to become a tool in the hands of politicians can only have itself to blame for its loss of credibility. The Army top brass is in cahoot with PDP. I feel for the hard working junior officers. |
EUROBOMBER:There are 2 Afeniferes. There is one made of mainly old Yoruba politicians - Olu Falae etc who essentially support Jonathan/PDP. And then there is Afenifere Renewal Group which gives the appearance of independence but is probably inclined towards APC. |
With the President effectively forcing the postponement of an election he was on course to lose, it is difficult to see how some sections of the voting population will accept any form Jonathan 'victory.' The postponement seriously damaged Mr Jonathan's credibility with the international community. He's seriously wounded right now. If there is substantial post-election trouble, that community will simply tell the President to leave. By the time the US, UN, AU, EU etc tell him to go, he's as good as gone. Whatever you think, the US remains the most powerful/important/influential country on earth. Let's watch. |
Awo - a political powerhouse, an intellectual juggernaut, an administrator per excellence (the like of which Nigeria can only dream of now). How did Nigeria go from this quality of leadership to >>> GEJ, Fayose, Omisore etc ![]() Where did it all go wrong for Nigeria ?? |
Mr Jonathan/ PDP has lost all credibility. All APC needs to do now is concentrate on keeping its support at the same level as it is now until next month. No need for protests or anything. Nigerians are fed up with PDP and an ineffective and brutally corrupt President & Mrs Deziani. March will be here soon. |
hehehe ![]() PDP launching coordinated attacks on Mr Jega. This was all planned - to be executed one step at a time. First - pressurise him through the PDP Army to postpone elections Then, attack his integrity saying he favours APC Then tell the world PDP has no confidence in the man Then, issue subtle threats to his life if he doesn't not resign Then, force him to go on leave if he remains 'stubborn' a la Sanusi And, finally, put your own man as INEC Chairman so that PDP can rig the election well well We know what PDP is up to, but the party is heading for its waterloo. |
