Here in ebsu, a form has bn issued 2 all staff both academic & non-acad 2 fill. By d way som lecturers ve started lectures esp in law faculty, sciences n mgt. D@s d latest here in ebonyi.

@vicky n chim. Ebsu can't afford 2 stay 4 few months witout pay. U need 2 c d hardship d@ ve befallen som staff just 4 dis 1 month. Moreover, d ve bn promised of dr entitlement dis wk if d re willing 2 go back 2 school. Again, ASUU members of ebsu chapter ve resolved 2 call off d strik but d national exco rejected dr position wit a warning d@ d wil b punished

@Olu: same here. Nobody knows w@ 2 believe again, but i ve dis belief d@ d info might b true. Dont 4get d@ last wk d ASUU chairman of ui section ws quoted as saying d@ d union is on a 7 days mourning. If u do d calculation very wel, dis thursday should make it d 7th day. I sincerely believe d@ ASUU wil call of d strik either dis wk or nxt wk monday cos d cant afford 2 lose dr integrity. @Joe. Same here nobody knows w@ 2 believ again. But as regard 2 d info concerning d outcom of senate meeting by ebsu, d info is credibl.

@olu. In d case of EBSU d re stil very far behind. They are yet to start d second semester. Whil dr colleague in unn and other schools are already preparing for a new section. Dont forget d@ d school wre few months ago suspended cos of d recent student riot. As for d school pulling out, 4 me it's unnecessary sinc ASUU exco wil b meeting dis wk. Hopefully d strik wil b called off nxt wk. May b d@s d season d schl mgt ve decided d@ d school should resume by nxt wk monday.

The Ebonyi State University Senate today reached a resolution for the school management to resume school on monday nxt week. Source: got d info from one of the senates' member. As for me, i think every state owned school should be patient cos i heard from one former ASUU executive member that dr will be an exco meeting on friday or may b on thursday. Hopefully d strike might be called off dis wk.

Hi nairalanders, hope u guys had a great service/wkend. For d ladies/married women in dis forum i need ur help. My girl is currently having her menstruation. As a result of d@ she has bn having som stomach pain including headache etc. Am aware dis is a lady/woman business but am also botherd cos thru out yesterday she's bn moody. My question dn is: is dr any solution d@ can help 2 wittle down d pain. I ve ask her 2 tak a walk, bath wit warm water as wel tak warm water but she is stil in pain. This is not d first or 2nd time. Yesterday there was a post concerning the new MTN tariff. This morning i just recieved this msg from MTN. It reads "Dear customer, welcom to MTN supersaver+! Now you can call ALL networks in Nigeria at 10k/sec, ALL DAY! Enjoy d lowest rates for business & pleasure!". Actually if this is true then i think dis new tariff remains d best. So what do u guyz think?

After my service in 2011, i investd my little savings on poultry farm project 2gethr wit d seed money dt my dad gav 2 me. 4 d first stock (abt 170 birds), i started wit, i broke even, 4 d second stock abt 200 birds, i lost all d stocks. Well i was discourag initially plus d fact d@ my parent advised me 2 leav it 4 now n face my MA programme. Am thru wit my course work n ve started writing thesis. My next project is 2 go back 2 d same business. As a measur, i ve created a special a/c 4 it. Com october dis yr, am starting all over again. My failur wil not deter me cos i ve learnt my lessons which re: get a good stock, ensure d envir is neat, timely vaccination, feed dm 4 8 wks n disposed dm as quickly as possibl. My advice 2 nairaland reading dis thread is dis 'let where u re 2day b better dan wher u re yesterday'. Above all, God shld be ur driver.

I askd her abt her current rship but she said yes dat she has a boyfriend but d guy is not treating her well. My intention wz 2 back out but she insisted on me giving her time. She is not just any type of girl. 4 me she has everything dt a man wants 4rm a lady except dt she is stubborn at times but dt is mostly thru phone.

Sometimes she always is d one dat calls my line all d times even when i try 2 warn her abt spending her airtime recklessly. According 2 her family hates her current boyfriend. Ironically, d ve acceptd me may b cos d re our family friend. @Exponential: thanks 4 ur comment. I dont know if she communicates always wit her boyfriend. As 4 d two of us, we communicate almost every 2days. During this easter break, i spent most of my time in dr house, took her out and made her birthday special 4 her. As 4 her boyfriend, she always complain of him not giving her d attention dat she needs. The funny side of whole thing is dat while she complains of him, she stil brings it up whenever we re chatting on phone, although not always. And when i try 2 discuss d issue wit her wit open mind, she wil get flared up. Like i said earlier in one of my posts, am willing 2 wait sinc am yet 2 get a job n am stil doing my ma programme stil my concern is whether she's jst playing along. However, she is a very nice, intellimient, smart n a decent girl but can be stuborn at times (although i dont blame her 4 dis considering her age- 18 while am 26) Her family seems 2 ve accepted me but 4 her she's a type of girl dat does nt depend much on pple's opinion - a radical type of girl.
