dayokanu: I lived in Bauchi for a year around 2004. and not in the state capital, I was in Darazo, and I can tell you in most cases water runs daily at a specific time of the day atimes for as long as 10hrsSo development to you is solely based the amount of hours a state Capital has water running eh? According to you Bauchi is better placed developmentally than Oyo state. By the way you're basing your assessment on the 11 months you spent there as a Youth Corps member in 2004/2005 . Just so you know, around that period, Borno was probably one of the most peaceful states in the Country. |
Just look at the vultures accompanying him, some of them are probably Commissioners now |
Whats with this rants? Nonsense!
I believe you should replace that with "these". Well funded education indeed. |
13volts: The northern states are increasingly focusing on educating there students abroad wit focus on medicine, pharmacy, IT, and engineering. Take Jigawa state for example they have a program in which more than 500 students are sent abroad every year mostly to Malaysia, Singapore, Egypt. The second first and second batch of these overseas students have already completed their studies and have been integrated into the civil service. You can only fool the people in your backward states with that rubbish, not us. Those Multi Billion Naira Scholarship Schemes are just another means for the political big wigs in the state to loot the treasury and at the same time educate their children . Right now, trending on NL is a thread about a girl who finished Secondary school with 9 A1 s and will be studying Law at Life. This was achieved by sound education in a school situated right there in her state. Your cases are hopeless believe me |
cogitoErgo: Im really confused about all these info about Bauchi. The State do have some good water supply in some towns other than Bauchi town, such as Misau and Azare. The salaries are always promptly paid, the state never owed salary, only its coming late this days! The road network in the state is superb as somebody pointed out. Recently the state established a University and they have started work with the 100Level students and Prelim students, I pray the University will not foldup! The state always give bursaries to students. The state always sponsor her indigenes on oversea scorlaships, though with the help of ETF and co!
Look, what I expected from you is to show me any state with functionable water supply system. There is a 16" inch functionable pipe born water system throughout the state capital and other major cites in that state and 7 million gallons/day dual water treatment plant providing access to portable drinking water to homes with hundreds of solar powered mini-water supply system scattered all over the state. It may sound like a rocket science or near impossible to many of us living in southern. Bauchi is the ONLY state with water utility billing system in nigeria(to the best of my knowledge!). I used to pay monthly bill of 250 naira to have access to portable drinking water, way back 2001, so don't give that bull. You can only see people buying water in Rivers, Abuja, Akwa Ibom, Delta, stretching to South east and South west, infact Lagos is a typical example of notorious "Mai ruwa" hordes. Enugu is another example!
Are you Comedians? Right before you is a Classic case of the disaster that has resulted in the North East becoming the butt of all jokes and you're hopelessly trying to paint another picture. Water Utility billing system my jazz, how many of the indigenes can afford paying for the Water? Failed Education system, which is no surprise when you consider the Children are groomed in the Art of Murdering Teachers and Corps members. |
That group being mentioned at the end of the report know exactly what will happen if that money is returned to the state govt. |

stanech: WHy we dey so concerned about the guy english? thats why we dey backward as a nation. English na our lang? We're concerned because that's how groups like boko haram get started. Semi literates like you and the OP will now return to your villages with wrong interpretations of previously written literature, and start misleading a bunch of knuckle heads like yourselves. |
Claumy2: These men are too dubious and more corrupt than satan. Except Mark's fellow thieves none of us knows why and what he (Mark) has gone to Israel to do. May his soul rest in peace. ![]() Bros let them announce the obituary first now. |
BlueDiva: We were lucky last night.Funny I've just read through almost 3 pages and this is what I find closest to the Truth |
With I've seen today, Bar a will progress with at least a 4 goal margin. Its a miracle Chelsea are still in it. |
Eko Ile: There is no mall or any kind of business going on there. The big white building you are talking about is an art gallery named after Wole Soyinka and it's for local artists to showcase their work. Thanks for clearing that issue up. strangerf: This Kobojunkie is studpiddddd, So just because there is a business center in the library, does that in any way detract from calling such a place a library. Even in Europe and America, there are business centers situated inside Parks. And talking about relaxing in a mall, well, only reeetards like Kobo would think of going to relax in a mall.No need to insult Kobojunkie, like I said, I have friends who have argued that Halle Berry is ugly. |
And I guess situating a Mall, if that's even what that structure is, in the park automatically disqualifies the area from being called a park. It can't be called a Park with a Mall situated in it, it Categorically stops being a Park. |
hercules07: There are business activities within that park, but it is still a park as you can go there to relax and have fun, I was there last week with Prof. Wole Soyinka to enjoy a play performed in his honour. It definitely is a park, that's the point I'm trying to get across. |
Eko Ile: Can you please show us the business related activities at this park and what from the pictures or stories posted that looks businesslike.?Must you reply to every post? I've talked with people who believe Halle Berry is hideous, their opinion. And FYI, there are open spaces filled with concrete that are called parks too, I think skating parks or something. |
alj harem: Why and Why would you say that ? Is Lagos for yorubas alone ? Stop this bigotry already, I am Yoruba indigene of Lagos and Lagos is not from yoruba alone but for Nigeria. If you can afford to live there then by all means do ! What do you mean by ban non-yorubas from there ?Yoruba, Kanuri, South East all inside your body |
chyket: Na wao, ibori is in jail, his wife is in jail, his babe is in jail, his sister is in jail and even his Lawyer is also in jail!!!!! Children might be joining soon |
The Artist made no provisions for the Trailer loads of Almajiris that will poor in and litter the streets lol. ![]() |
afrodoc: van persie is most likely showing signs of fatigue.dts wt happens when u play a footballer week in week out plus even midweek,90mins every game.there were more opportunities for wenger to take off RVP at 70 or 80mins in games which arsenal was leading comfortably n give chamakh or park a run out but thats nt wenger's style.he taps his best player until d player runs dryWhat about Barca and Messi? |
chic2pimp: The Same Liverpool that got thought a footballing lesson two seasons later by Milan. Or the same Liverpool side who has won the Big Ears 5 times. Remind me again how many times have u lot sniffed the finals of the european cup?Apples and Oranges |
As if they can enforce that law, rubbish. In 2012 you can't give us water and Electricity, someone tell me exactly what we need a govt for? |
Always going for sensationalism without end results, the House of Assembly itself is a complete Fraud. |
Imagine working at the world back for 25 years, rising to MD but still can't make pres dent. Lol at, "you mean that guy that doesn't know the meaning of a hedge fund" |
chic2pimp: Oh ok the team that celebrated beating the Defending champions like they had already won the trophy. But got thoroughly shown up by liverpool in the next roundThe Same Liverpool that Cancelled a Three goal deficit in the second half of the Final to disgrace Milan with two Seasons before |
The One that thrashed Milan at the Emirates and did same at the Sansiro three seasons ago. |

Ganys: Bros...have you forgotten that christianity was introduced in Nigeria under the guise of colonialism. Alright, why do we still have Dean, Rector,Provost and chancellor in our educational system? Arent they chritian jagons.Exactly, Muhammad Yusuf and Shekau are Christians from latter rain assembly. They're fighting for the Secularisation of their area. |
