Arrange boys to beat her up. That is an African solution to most problems. Watch her life turn for the better after the act.

I ate stingray recently. I never knew Nigerians hunted them. The worst protein I’ve ever tasted. It had the consistency and blandness of rubber.

There is no secret to old age. The reporters know there isn’t. It still makes for a good headline. Luck is the only variable all old people share. Some have smoked cigarettes since their early teens, drunk alcohol since their preteens and had reckless sex lives, still they all met themselves in their late nineties/early hundredths. Nothing concern me, early eighties is enough for me. Maybe ninety at most. Anything else na frustration for your living relatives especially coupled with degenerative diseases.

Family › Re: Advice!!! I'm Planning On Arranging Thugs To Beat My Sister by eepeepook(f): 3:24pm On May 26, 2023
Barims:
Why does my younger sister want to kill me? We had a fight this morning, and she went ballistic again. I had to rush to the neighbors house to hide for the time being, and I haven't returned home. My younger sister detests me to no end. Even my parents are scared of her, but I have never seen her go violent with them or my siblings, but only me. I don't know what I did to deserve so much hate from her; she hates seeing me. I went home yesterday because we are currently on break at school. Typically, I don't go home because I know the kind of demon waiting for me at home. I'm always careful around her because anything could set her off. I'm really afraid of her. She has attempted to kill me before, but she failed. I know she will try it again.

I recall she never showed up to even check on me when I was seriously ill and on the verge of death in the hospital. I could see the disappointment on her face when I returned home after being released from the hospital. She didn't even look at my side, much less stand up to hug me as my other siblings rushed to give me a hug and some even gave me a peck.
I once slapped her during a fight we had. My sister hurried into the kitchen to get a knife. Without hesitation, I knew that if I waited for her, she would stab me, possibly killing me, so I hurried to the bathroom and closed the door from inside. My attempts to understand why she always treats me violently have been ineffective. I have periodically pleaded with her for us to be at peace. She continuously claims that I will change, but nothing has ever changed!

I'm beyond frustrated. Due to a medical problem I have, I normally cannot defend myself. I have no chance of defeating her because of how strong she is. She is in charge in the home. My parents are doing nothing to stop this vicious brat, What can I do, please? I'm 22; she is 19.

This guy is just a troublemaker. South African leaders mostly have entertaining personalities. I don’t know Nigerian ones close to them in charisma or character. These people act more like social media influencers than public servants.

You need to check out this thread and its songs though

Airforce1 was very popular on NL then.
He decided to do something worthwhile with the fame; make music.
A good move but it was done in a rush. He could have solicited for funds first and go to A-list music producers to create a very good song.
He didn't.
He could have tried again when it felt like he didn't succeed the first time
He didn't.

@ eepeepook
You mean Banky W was once on Nairaland? If I remember correctly, he arrived Nigeria from overseas and became an instant hit?
He also tried to promote his music here with no success. Maybe he was an instant hit in the real world. Judging from his Nairaland interactions, only him and a handful of others would have known of his existence talk less of making it big one day.

I like the discipline of the armed forces. I do not like death nor been yelled at. If born in a developed nation, I would join the army. PTSD is not something I ever want to experience. I’ll stick to my job of working in oil rigs.

Why isn’t the Nigerian military glamourized like other nations make theirs? Gen Z is no less physical than times of before. If anything, most are fitter due to gym culture. I want a situation where one out of ten Nigerians serves in the military. It will better us as people.

Airforce1 music na peppersoup joint jams he sabi release. I don’t care for the other guy. If he can’t make a name in his street or community, being on Nairaland won’t help.

Remember Banky W? Na frustration Nairaland use pursue am when he first start. Same with one other guy who reigned for a year or two mainstream.

Wizkid for lose hope if he tried here first. Tonto Dike who always made front page that year was a joke of a musician. Despite how many Nairalanders clicked on topics regarding her music, her YouTube view count from here was never up to forty in total.
