Actually am a year 3 medical student trying to ask a girl in my class out, although we hv been friends together for a while which i assume is even turning out into a relationship so i summoned up courage to ask her out bt she said she can't date her class mate . after a while a notice d change in attitude of the girl towards me since when i asked her out, to the extent that she block my number and ever warn me not to reach her place.. but my greatest Surprise was that this girl have not been behaving to me like this before don't jst know where i offend her or why she jst developed hatred for me..plz i need advice plz

Please if you are a real medical student in the right sense of the word(undergraduate of Medicine and surgery); please I beg you in the name of GROSS ANATOMY,EMBRYOLOGY,HISTOLOGY,NEUROANATOMY,BIOCHEMISTRY,PHYSIOLOGY,et al,please leave that girl and focus on your forth coming end of pre clinical MBBS,please I beg you again,the result is not always funny,and your best friend or brother or girlfriend could pass and you fail or vice versa.
Please you have not even started the actual journey in medical school,IT'S ONLY AFTER YOU PASS YOUR 2ND MBBS and enter 400 level,that's when the journey starts.

Always have in mind,the following destiny changers :

I think some women exaggerate it...they probably never get help from their husbands on a normal day and are trying to punish him .

I hardly had cravings i couldn't control. I never woke hubby up for food. I still did things myself...still cooked for him most times. And if i didn't feel up to cooking, i would tell him to get food.

An older friend said he drove to abule egba from surulere to look for masa (i think it is a Ghanaian food) and he once went to a mango sellers house at almost midnight because his wife wanted mangoes.

The question is...what do single pregnant women do? With no husband or man to send around. From experience i realized that this cravings can be controlled. Not the one that one pregnant woman will go and beg for jollof rice where they are cooking as she is passing by

Different strokes for different folks;just because you had mild cravings doesn't mean another person won't have severe cravings...
Stop sounding as if you are the first woman to get pregnant;for the fact that you were able to control your cravings does not mean that all other pregnant women out there faked their cravings or could not control it.
You have no idea about severe cravings nor pregnancy complications.

The irony of life... Rich guys and eligible bachelors don't give a Bleep about all these relationships and marriage brouhaha...
It's the broke guys who are always under pressure and ultimatums from their poor girlfriends and their impoverished families.
Young man I would advise you to forget about that girl and face your life please,you still have ample time to get rich and attract better girls from more decent families into your life.
Women are so greedy and their daughters inherit this greediness from them...

(4)ONLY STUDENTS SHOULD DATE THEIR FELLOW STUDENTS;ONLY UNEMPLOYED GRADUATES SHOULD DATE AND MARRY THEIR FELLOW UNEMPLOYED FEMALES.

*summary:stop going for ladies below your social class,take example from the marriages of politicians children and top business executives.

The only official spammer on nairaland;he goes by multiple monikers such as importexpert,ugojibaby,loverboys etc.
He sells information about affiliate marketing and as soon as you pay him for any package and ask questions,he would stop replying your messages on whatsapp or automatically block You.
He depends on the 'profit' earned from selling his empty e-books than the actual affiliate marketing he claims to practice.
I will take a screenshot of this my comment,so that if it is deleted or I receive a ban,then we will all know that he is actually a mod or he pays the mods or he outwits them.

I used to think so too, but apparently Stanbic applies WHT on the MMF incomes before they credit it to you at the end of the quarter. The only way around this is to choose to reinvest the interest. Since I learnt this from them last year, I have opted to have my interest reinvested, then if I need cash I can simply redeem a portion of the investment without any tax burden whatsoever.

OK,but if you finally decide to close your MMF account after a period of time(example 3 years) and ask for final withdrawal(including original principal and all income accrued), will the WHT still be deducted?

This "graduate" of a thing is overrated.if you limit your education to only the abstracts that you learnt from the four walls of an institution,you will forever remain dumb in other areas of life and society.
Self development with life long learning is the key.
The average Nigerian citizen,young or old,graduate or non graduate is UNINTELLECTUAL.
We have this mindset that once you attend a university,you have automatically known it all.
The summary of it all is this ;... If you want to hide something from a black man,put it in a book.

It is not overrated but over flogged in Nigeria.In fact,the concept of entrepreneurship in Nigeria has been misunderstood and thereby misinterpreted.what we practice is copy-copy.
In advanced economies like China,USA and UAE,entrepreneurship is the first resort,not the last resort as in the case of Nigeria.
People are supposed to go into entrepreneurship to solve problems,find newer ways of doing things and create value;not a get rich quick scheme.
Entrepreneurship is supposed to create wealth,not multiply poverty as obtainable in Nigeria.

One is faculty and the other is department,however any of them could be considered as the other depending on how structured the university college is.

That is what it is supposed to be.Mr autojosh,there are so many other 'struggles' that the generation before you went through,which you and your own generation(who are also kids relative to them) won't understand...
For example,the generation before you didn't have a 'Nairaland' to express or showcase their thoughts on a particular area of life;they had to depend on letter writing and publishing articles on national dailies in hard copies,which was very expensive back then.if you were born in that generation,you would have still been in the village using mud or wood to make toy cars,as a way of expressing your love for automobiles.
