A young girl on NYSC was posted to serve at a school up North and she was assigned to prepare the JSS students for English Language. She was teaching the students on the comparatives and superlatives of words. So what she does is just to call the word and the students will complete the rest. Eg the teacher says TALL. The students echo’s TALLER, TALLEST. The school Principal went to check on the young teacher and met that scene. He took it from her and said FAT and the students as usual echo FATTER, FATTEST. He said BIG. They echo BIGGER, BIGGEST. The Principal nods his head in acknowledgment to their excellent performance and said good. The students echo GOODER, GOODEST. The Principal ordered. STOP and the students again echo STOPPER, STOPPEST. The Principal became fed up and shouted in anger HABBA. The students again echo HABBARER, HABBAREST. The Principal fainted.

Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan has told leaders in the ruling People's Democratic Party he will seek the party's nomination in the upcoming presidential election.

Nigerian media report Mr. Jonathan declared his intention Tuesday night at a closed-door meeting of state governors.  Mr. Jonathan told the governors he plans to make a public announcement on September 18.

Sources from the meeting said no one raised a protest about the president's disclosure.  However, not all governors from the ruling party attended the meeting, which comes near the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

Mr. Jonathan's possible candidacy is controversial.  A Christian from Nigeria's south, he took office in May after the death of President Umaru Yar'Adua, who was a Muslim from the north.

Some members of the PDP have argued Mr. Jonathan should step aside to allow another Muslim to hold the highest office.

Mr. Yar'Adua died about three years into what was expected to be a two-term, eight-year presidency.

The party has an informal rule of rotating the presidency between Nigeria's mainly Muslim north and mainly Christian south after two terms.

Former military ruler Ibrahim Babangida and former vice president Atiku Abubakar - both Muslims - have said they will seek the ruling party's nomination.

This week Nigeria's electoral commission set January 22 as the date for the presidential election, with voting for parliament on January 15, and state governor polls on January 29.

A man, Mohammed Jubriel, has dragged his friend, Isa Odoh, 28, before the Ejigbo Magistrate’s Court for allegedly touching his wife’s breast.
Mohamemd, 28, claimed that his friend did not only touch the breast of his 18-year old wife, Aishat, but held it.
The incident happened at Shop 10, Shopping Complex, Jakande Estate, Isolo, Lagos where Mohammed owns a shop.
He disclosed that when he saw him touching his wife’s breast, he fought him and reported the incident at the Ejigbo police station.
The accused, it was learnt, confessed to the police when he was arrested that he was only playing with the woman when he went to her shop to buy an item.
He denied touching her breast as claimed by the husband.
He was charged to court for assault, an offence the police claimed, was contrary and punishable under Section 360 of the Criminal Code, Cap.31, Vol. 2, Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2003.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge and sought to make peace with the complainant. The complainant told the court that he decided to forgive the defendant because of the Ramadan period and warned him to desist from touching his wife’s breast.
The magistrate, Mrs. M.B. Folami, said that since the husband who is the complainant has written a letter to withdraw the matter, she has no option than to strike out the matter.
She subsequently struck out the matter.

i use to do that with my first love there was absolutely no hidden agenda to it, i wasn't even thinking it would make him jealous i guess it was just one of those things that came out during convo especially when it was from older guys and it was so ridiculous i had to share.
I don't do it anymore and i'm sure if he had said to me he wasn't comfortable with me telling him i would have stopped. So my advise to you is just tell her you rather she didnt share the stories with you.

Do not discourage her from sharing her view as that way you can be up to date on happenings.
