since i am no more emotionally prepared, i am deferring until September.
but there is an option of filling out late arrival form for the fully enrolled.

It is difficult to understand this UKVI working days. my application moved to VAC today Sunday.
and today is my school deadline to arrive.

I applied to Hull last year, I was given conditional offer very close to September. I knew I would not be able to go around that time so I defer till sept 22.

Now, the conditions I need to meet for them to send me an unconditional offer letter is

1. A professional or Academic referee
2. English language requirement

Now, this is where I need your professional experience to guide me house.

My response

1. I got and upload on the portal a letter of reference form work, cos I applied for a Master in Criminology and crime control and I work in a security outfit so I believe that will be fine.

2. I also uploaded my NECO result on the portal and i sent a result checking scratch card and NECO registration no to the PG admission office email address.

Since I sent it like a week ago, I have not heard from them.

I hope I am in order with all that I sent them?

And I have done all that is required.

Just keep an eye on your myhull profile, they will update it, but as for the NECO, Hull has been having preference for WAEC lately, you may want to find another way to proof your english language proficiency, but wait their response.

Different strokes for different banks, different branches. My bank specifically told me I must come to the bank physically.

I have said it before, We were better of with the hard copy form A, this new E-form A has lots of irregularities, even the banks are struggling to understand it, i am wondering if CBN did not lay a proper guideline for the process.

I applied for forex Using Form A (GTBank). I have been debited (last Monday), but the stage shows ADB reviewer on the trade system website.
Should I be worried?

Why did you use flywire? Their rates are high.

Their rate is higher if i chose to pay with naira, But i chose to pay with GBP , so i get invoice for GBP, them i use it to order Form A.
So it is CBN rate.

What are lies in my text.... So the Form A you did at Zenith bank and UBA, did you not visit a branch? Did you complete the process in the sky? I am telling you how i went about mine(to my experience it read), i visited branch where i have my account officer, and made him talk with the Forex staff who went ahead to run checks on my documents and in line with CBN policy for such bank operations, and after i had met all requirements the staff went ahead with my customer's request.
Now fill a Form A and not follow up, whilst another person does and do a follow up, lets know who will get PTA first.
The only point the banks or branches have no influence is if the head office receives no forex funding for that day from CBN, then of course no branch would issue you a PTA regardless of whatever branch you visit..

But i did form A with Keystone Bank without visiting the bank, although i called customer service after more than 2 days since i have been debited at ADB- disbursement- About an hour later, someone from the bank called and told me the flywire invoice i uploaded has expired,, i should generate a new one and upload it. meanwhile i have contacted flywire before it expired and they extended the day, but i did not upload the one with the new date, so after the call , i uploaded the with the new date, Next day, i received telex, and i also received receipt from flywire hours later.... Start to finish i did not step foot in the bank, it took about 2 weeks.

What you need to do now is proceed to your Bank with the required documents. Masters will require you to submit your BSC, NYSC Certificate and the print out of your FORM A. I attached a Screenshot of how to print your FORM A from your Portal. Take them to your Bank on Monday for Submission. Your account should be debited within 48hrs and Telex should ready in 24-48hrs too if your Village People no dey follow you. This is self explanatory enough for you

you don't have to go to the bank if you have uploaded all the documents online, if your account has not been debited after 2-3 days since it moved to ADB-disbursement Just call the customer service and they will act on it.

somebody posted it on the living in the uk thread .that him and his wife are fighting cos him wan bring in mama her wan bring her mama all ontop student visa .no they should not leave the kids behind but the man/woman should first go and stabilze a little. With housing and day care issue then import the remaining dependant and the hustle continue .not you are trying to enrol ,dey find house ,dey find daycare dey find work dey find kids school all on a budget with our weak naira .you go hear am .

hehehe, I laugh in the face of danger. but to be honest, you should not underestimate some persons financial strength, all these stress will be minimal when the money is there and some people are not afraid to spend money for what they want.. someone who is going for a masters degree with kids is definitely not a kid, somebody who embark on this kind of adventure must have thought it out and laid a grand plan and a backup. for those who do not have a plan for their move, they should bear whatever comes their way. regardless of weather there is a plan or not, there is always a way, all you need to do is find the way.

you must have missed something out of the form, you should look at those YES and NO question, at the beginning.
Download your application and go through it, you will find where the error is.
if you find it, you may want to cancel the application and start a new one, or you can expect NSF mail and a link to pay it, or risk a refusal.
my 20 kobo advice is to find the error, cancel and submit a new application, your money will be refunded within 28 working days. when you cancel before biometric.

My visa have been approved since Wednesday and my passport sent via DHL, till now I haven't gotten it. I tracked it and it's still nowhere near my address. The estimated time of delivery on their site is Monday. Is this normal? I thought it should be a second day delivery.

It depends on where on earth you are located. some route are busy, some are not but, i am sure it will not exceed the estimated delivery date.

Money in your account must not fall short of the amount required for your POF , even for 1 day within the 28 days period.
that is why it is advisable to add a little extra just incase there is a fluctuation in the exchange rate.

I did my biometrics at Abuja Tls on the 13th and got an NSF to provide work references on the 28th, I responded on the 1st with the said documents and got another NSF mail on Sunday 6th of February, this mail did not ask for anything just said the application has not been straightforward and all.
I am really worried. Has anyone gone through this before? And what would you advise I do?

If you NSF mail did not ask for anything, then just know they are doing a background check on you they are trying to very some document you have submitted, how soon you get response depends on what they are looking at and how soon they get the information they are look for

So this is not a regular occurrence and I pray to get answers here as I am physically and mentally drained. We (family of 4) applied for visa, paid for ihs and visa fee using 2 different cards. One of the card's holder is in the uk, ( a pounds card ) while the other is in Nigeria. However, we cancelled our applications before biometrics for reasons best known to us. Yesterday morning, the card holder in the uk said she was refunded all the money we paid using her card. While the one in Nigeria, said she hasn't received the money, sent screenshot of her account balance claiming she hasn't been refunded. Now, mails were not sent regarding the refunds by UKVI. Please is it possible for the one with banks card to have received since yesterday morning and the one with Access Visa signature card (Access Bank card) not to have received? Please anyone witnessed or heard of this before? @justwise and co please help ease my mind. Thanks

i once cancelled my application DEC 18,2021 was told the refund may take up to 28 days( working days) that's approximately 6 normal weeks, after 28 days if i do not get a refund, i should contact them,,, i was already preparing to contact them when i receive the refund, it was 26 working days. GTB dollar card , so you should count the days that has past if it is up to 28 working days, you should contact them if it is more than 28 working days, they will tell the exact situation.
It is possible for the UK card refund to be faster because it is local card.

My best friend did priority on 25th January at VI. He got one nsf mail to send proof of work on January 28 and he replied January 31.
No message from UKVI yet. He tracked and application is still at DMC as at this morning.
The deadline for enrolment is tomorrow.
The school sent a message they would write UKVI on Monday withdrawing his CAS.
He was advised to defer to September 2022.
What should he do now?
Can he get money paid for IHS back.
Justwise pls help.

Weather he gets a full or partial refund of the IHS depends on a few factors
if a decision has not been made when UKVI receive the correspondence from the school, he will likely get a refusal and he get a full refund of the IHS fee.
If they if a decision has been reached and he was granted a visa, but no time to travel, he may get partial or no refund. at least i read that from UKVi website,

Good morning everyone,am new on this platform.....i applied for the UK visa since November ....did my biometrics on the 3rd of Decemeber at the TLS centre in Abj......i also did receive the confirmation that my application has been sent to the DMC.However ,till this moment i haved received any response......

i made attempts to write to the UK high commission requesting to know the status of my visa of which they responded ....saying they cannot give me any answers as my application is being treated at the DMC......its really frustrating and i dont know what other steps to take.

Hello House,

I am a student on tier 4 visa, already in the UK. My husband and son applied as my dependants, an email was sent this morning, stating that my son was refused and the reason being that his father does not hold a valid UK visa and he has not applied for a valid UK visa, when they have both applied together.
There is no word yet as regards my husbands application. They gave us an option of an administrative appeal for my son which we are going to do.
Anyone ever experienced this? Is this an oversight from their end? Please advise on what to do.

I am not an expert, but, I am still wondering why they will reference your sons application to your husband VISA status,,, the only way that could be the case is if your son had applied as a dependent of your husband instead of both applying as your dependent. before you go for administrative review, you may want to go through your sons application form again to make sure it has been filled out correctly. you know these application form can be tricky to fill out sometimes.....

that after meeting all the conditions including payment, you should be attending to the English language requirements now, deposit should be the last thing to worry about, if you are for September intake most schools will not issue a CAS until JULY.,

I can confirm to you that the cheapest school in the entire UK as far as this course is concerned is university of hull... £11,000. But unfortunately, the have closed to International till January 2023.

But here's my advice, seeking pre-CAS dep of 1k may sound good and conservative, but always bear in mind that 50% is a must for almost all UK schools at enrollment and you're still going to face it upon arrival.

So, here's the catch; seek schools with low tuition and it will be ur best bet. For instance, UCLAN tuition is £14,500 for this course, Bradford fee is £18,500 but will offer you £5,000 in scholarships.

So, explore Google, look out for low tuition, it'll be worth the while.

UCLAN can also give you up to 3000 GBP depending on your previous grade, i got 2:2 with my undergraduate and was give 1000, you can get up to 5k if you had first class
