Please bear with me, i have started from the 1st page and am slowly catching up. I need your advice, i just received my CAS today from UCLAN for January entry. Can i still start and finish the application before enrollment closes (I dont know which day yet) or do you advice i defer the admission. Paid the 4000 to get the CAS 10th of December last year. If you advice i go on, please i would want to plead with someone to indulge me and send me the summary of what to do. I am grateful to God that i can say i have already gathered all the money i will require for priority processing and other fees. Thanks and i am eargerly waiting for your replies.

Please how did you send the paid email.

I send a paid email, my account was debited but I am yet to get any response.

I filled in my details and in the enquiry box I wrote " Dear UKVI Team, please I would like to know the status of my visa application". Then I filled in my card details.
Although I received an automated response, I didn't not get any response from the UKVI Team.

This has happened twice, I believe there is something I am not doing right. Please help

I got this from UKVI again after I was asked yesterday to provide employment records an employer’s references.

I’m a bit confused, should I go ahead and send the references?

Guy it is not really easy especially mails. If you work in a professional environment you will realize that tons of mails drop every seconds and one can't read all, customers will be there needed to be served, calls from everywhere, shouts from everyone etc. Not really easy. After I knew all this, I prefer going to the bank by myself when I have any urgent complaint.

I cancelled and my reason was “there was an error in my application” does this reason affect t he approval of my refund or the refund is automatic since I haven’t done my biometrics.

Maybe that was the reason they sent the nsf without a request. I believe by next week you will get your visa. At least VI tls is faster compare to ikeja tls.

I was also thinking you quoting user1011. Biometrics was 16th of Dec ikeja, while nsf mail requesting for employment details was received on the 7th of January.

This will be quite a long read.
Collection Mail: 13th January, 2022.
Visa Granted!

I applied for student visa August 2020 but it was refused because my CAS was cancelled by the University.
I called the University to tell them I couldn't meet the resumption date since I had not gotten my Visa and I was informed I'd be deferred to January 2021.

I called the UKVI to inform them that my CAS had been cancelled and the lady on the phone asked if I wanted to withdraw my application. I told the lady that the withdrawal will take a while before I get my passport back but I'm okay with a refusal so I can get my passport back immediately.

Two days later, I was refused but I wasn't bothered so I reapplied with priority in November 2020 so as to avoid the long processing time.

I was scheduled for a phone interview on the 5th day and I answered all the questions but I was refused.

The reasons given were blatant lies saying I didn't know much my fees was and didn't know what my sponsor did for a living.

I applied for AR and it was refused, did PAP - the refusal was upheld.

I proceeded to Judicial Review then the lies were upgraded to "the applicant states NEVER to return back to Nigeria."
The Judge asked the recording of my phone interview be presented the following week.

By the following week, the transcript of the phone interview shown I clearly stated how much my fees was and what my sponsor did for a living. No where was it stated that I'd never come back to Nigeria. Instead I said it was my plan to return back to Nigeria to open a Consultancy firm.

The representative for the Home Office reached out to the Barrister representing me and myself asking to settle outside court.
The Barrister asked if I was okay with a settlement, I said Yes but wanted them to pay all the cost I incurred during the JR process and a new decision to be made.

It was agreed and signed.

July 2021, a new CAS was requested for September 2021. I was asked to provide it within a week.

The University took a while to reply, before they provided a new CAS I was refused again. I WAS LIVID. I sent the Home Office an email telling them I'd follow it up to JR and this time THERE WOULD BE NO SETTLEMENT OUTSIDE COURT.

I applied for AR and it took 3 months before it was successful.
I got several emails of apologies and passport was requested for November 10.

I submitted my passport 10th November, 2021.
Collection email: 13th January, 2022.

This journey started August, 2020.

My wife's application just moved to VAC this morning around 11am, 2 hours later, she received collection mail and DHL dispatch mail from TLS.
She initially sent a paid mail on Tuesday 11th January and was told its awaiting decision.
We both did biometrics same day (walk-in) 20th December Abuja, but i got an NSF mail last Sunday 9th January to submit letter of consent from my wife(main applicant) in whose account all the POF funds were warehoused.
I responded same day too.
Please when should i be expecting decision on my own application?
I'm so sure DHL will deliver her passport to us tomorrow whereas mine is still at DMC.

I received nsf for my wife asking for proof marriage (certificates) and pics and chats... Can i attach our pictures directly cos they put something like please send this document as a scanned attachment

Good morning guys!
Please I want to ask as I tried to appeal to my school about the decision on not awarding me my CAS and they are saying that they operate a strict policy where by anybody that has been denied visa before from other country or US that the chances of the person getting visa in UK is slim and I want to know how true this is, if anybody knows anybody that had visa refusals and was still able to get UK and also which school did the person apply to.
Am so sad right now and confused.thanks for the help
