Go ahead, fill it pay and book appointment on a date after your POF matures, am advicing you from multiple experience.
I know every other person may advice you otherwise.

You can live anywhere you want to live and find withing the UK, that is not a problem .
But, be ready for the risk that comes along with couples living apart in the abroad.
A good friend of mine did this, before 6 months himwife talk say she nor do again say she be gay now. na the matter we still dey settle since no headway,

I got a nsf mail for my sons’ application to produce a court document showing legal responsibility. I am trying to obtain the document from court but I want to know if my own application will be delayed until the document is produced.
And what will be the implication if I can’t produced because lawyers are saying the order is usually given for a child that is adopted or whose parents are divorced. And not when the parents are still living together

When you are filling the UKVI application form for a child, the process is very trickey, there are 4 options to chose from when you get to the declaration, the option you pick will determine what document you will include, Always chose, I am the child under 18 ,fill the form as if it is the child filling it himself/herself even if the child is a day old. the worst they will ask for is cosent letter from parent

Truth is , If you have been denied a visa before, especially recently( i mean the past few years) by either the UK, Canada, USA, Australia and new zealand,,, PRIORITY VISA application will not work for you. Do not waste money on priority service you are going to be attended to with standard service timeline.
this service works best for experienced travellers and fresher(virgin passport)

The problem is, it is not all schools that use western union world pay to receive their funds. this is only possible if your school use this payment processor. if your school use flywire or direct bank account for example, there is nothing you can do. other than to use the usual form A

it makes sense, because people who get refusal get thier refusal letter before collection mail, it is logical if they send BRP letter when the application is successful.

470 GBP is for 1 year IHS fee.
But, the visa you get is longer than 1 year,( 13 months) you get additional 4 months to your visa. as wrap up time.
the IHS you pay is for the period your visa is valid for, not for the period you study, so you are paying 12 months plus 5 months litrarily.

Yes, I did got a study permit after a 10 years ban, so i can attest to that.
was banned in 2009, ban eneded 2019. got student visa in 2022 January intake.
I even went to all these study abroad people to help me, they said i can not get a visa i should not bother.
i decided to take the risk , knowing that if i fail, i will get a refund of my IHS and my Deposit., and it paid off
(As i dey UK so, I don dey gain) lol
All you have to do is do declare the refusal and explain the ban in the additional note, if you know the reason,
In my case i did nto know the reason cos the agent did not give me that note in 2009, young and naive i did not even bother about it.
then 2018 i applied for a visitor visa, it was rejected , and was told i have an existing ban,, this was the first time i became aware that i was banned, and it was explained that they could not verify my place of work in my application in 2009. the agent went to use another company different from where i actually work to impress them, i must wait till the ban end to get a change of getting a visa. i called my school after i got conditional offer, and they told me since the ban has ended, that will not be an issue, but i must decalere it when i am applying for a visa. which i did, On the additional note, i just explain that i was a victim of a fradulent travel agent.
i got visa, but it took up to 2 times the normal processing time, probably they had to verify everything. i remember my banks calling me to ask if i am aware that my statement of account is been used in an embassy, i said yes, i used it myself.
[b]Advice [/b]Just make sure every document relevant to your application is genuene this time, becose they are going to try to verify it more than once to see if it checkout.

Fortunately , I just checked now and I saw in my basket options , Flexi appointment. It has not always been there. I believe if it's not available, it won't reflect there.

@Macpapillo different things we hear can be confusing sometimes. I remember someone also confirmed the same you said that we should not conclude based on everything we hear.

But am sure if has always been 7 options in the TLS service basket. There was a day I was looking for it that I didn't see it there.i guess it's just updated.

if you attemp to buy the flexi appointment, and put it on your basket, you will not see any appointment date.
and you will start complaining there is no date,
The only way you can use flexi appointment lately is when a couple or family arrive at TLS and at least one of them have appointment for that particular day, other members of the family can then purchase flexi/walkin on site.

if you have sent a paid mail, and you received this mail, it means they want to escalate your case,because it has exceeded the normal processing time, so be quick to provide the information.

you are going to obtain police extrac/ police clearance certificate and send to them/ It is equivalent to DBS assuming your are already in the UK, But police check can only be done where you have lived..
As for flywire, fill the form as you will normally do, and chose to pay in other currency and chose GBP. submit the payment intruction along with other document with form A. the problem is form A is slow these days, and cannot meet flywire deadline, but the banks usually call you to update flywire receipt when they are ready to disburse after u have been debited, what you do is generate a fresh flywire invoive and upload it, then call them that you have uploaded.

There are available dates, But because there is no walkin, if you try to pay for walkin online or chose walkin in the basket, you will not see any date,,, try booking without clicking walking and you will see all available date.

The date of your application is the date you pay your visa fee not biometrics

Go back to the summary page of the application you did and confirm this

Don't confuse people with what you barely escaped and what is the right thing

Like i said, i have done it for myself, and friends more than once, all came positive, i am not here to argue with you, the rule is the rule, weather the ECO sleep well or Not, I am only talking from experience, the date is there on the application, the confusion is , the application actually start on the day you submit your biometric. we will still be here when this person will share their testimony.

I have tried this more than once, and all came out successful, But your POF must be more than 28 days On the Date /time you attend your biometric. My conclusion is that, your application start from the date you submit your biometric.

I was finally able to do something about my tuition payment, and I'm sure it'll be dropping this month of August. Unfortunately, I had not started my POF counting, hence I won't be able to meet up with resumption date of 27th.

Now, the course does not have a January start date (it's Education) and the school is saying they can defer me till August 2023.

I want to send them a mail to allow me join through online classes till I am physically present by September. (The timetable states we have several weeks of theory classes before going for placement by October)

Am I being too pushy or have UK schools stopped online classes for late "resumers"?

Lesson for others: If you have hope your tuition payment will go through, please gather your funds together and start counting for your POF

Only if you use black market to pay your deposit you will have such guarantee, otherwise wait for your form a funds to reach the school, before you can make a concrete deceison on POF. remember you have another waiting time for CAS.
Because there are no longer covid restrictions in the UK, lectures and assessment are returning to pre-covid era. online classes may no longer be possible except the course is distant learning on its own, though some lecturer may decide to record the class and put it on Blackboard. that is if you are lucky.

Please how long does it take for Ulster uni to issue CAS. I got unconditional offer from them.

I dont want to go through my ordeal with Teesside again. I dey fear o. I have offers from Ulster and sunderland (london)

Most school will start issuing CAS 3 months before program start date, if you have paid your deposit and still have more than 3 months before program start, you will have to wait.

Hello guys, please I’m practically frustrated it’s been almost 4 months and these people refused to refund me.. when I first applied, I noticed a mistake after I paid so I canceled it and asked for a refund immediately same day, I also did a fresh application and paid again, I used another email this time so it doesn’t get confusing… I have been trying to call them for my refund since through a friend in the Uk but it’s always one story or the other… Someone finally helped me to do the paid email cos my card wasn’t working with it, and they didn’t reply me since 7 days now, I’m so frustrated I have to get my money back cos they even rejected the first one so I can’t lose both ways, what can I do please I’m at my wits end right now.

When you cancel before biometric, it is refundable, if you have already given bio metric, you should receive only the IHS fee.
and it is automatic.

No, it means they are done with your application and your travel documents is ready for collection,,, you will see weather a visa is approved or not after you pick it up and open it.

Nope, they checklist they are referring to is the slip they attached to your passport photocopy they gave you on they day you submitted your biometric.

I read your comments all the time, and I must say you have a great spirit. Despite the delay in your own Visa application, you still come to this wonderful forum to contribute and offer advice to other prospective students.

My advice is that nothing is impossible; I have a friend whose school's final day of enrollment was last week Friday; he received a collection mail on Wednesday evening, went to pick up his passport at TLS on Thursday morning, and then went straight to the airport; it was his younger brother who brought his luggage to the airport for him; he filled out the passenger locator form right away, and he was able to fly that same day.

When he arrived in the UK on Friday, he went straight to school with his luggage to explain the delay in getting his Visa, and he was allowed to enroll physically.

You can do the same thing tomorrow; your school should be able to accept you with only a 1-2 day delay in arrival.

it is not about pressing forward to get there, the thing is my program is in engineering, i have 4 modules this semester, class started since JAN 17, from then till now, is about 4 weeks, so i have missed 16 classes already, if i decide to go now, i will be putting myself under unnecessary stress to catch up, to settle down, they are already talking about submitting assignment March 16. before i combine accommodation problem with it. and a lot of other things. I know my capabilities, I have paid good money as fees, 1 do not want to poor grades .
