But I can confirm that UCLAN discount is 1k, bringing you to 13500 GBP.

I am applying as the main applicant with my husband and child a dependents.

My husband is my sponsor.

Is it advisable to state my husband as sponsor in documentation because I personally feel it would look somehow considering the question I would be asked about my sponsor source of income (he runs a business in Nigeria and planning to stop once the visa clicks) then he’s planning to leave his business to follow me to the UK for my masters program. I feel it wouldn’t sound pleasant to the hearing of those in charge of visa issuance �

On the other hand , if I claim I am sponsoring myself, I don’t even have a credible employment history to back up such funds.

What do you suggest I do ?

Or it doesn’t mean if I still state my husband as sponsor?

But I think most sponsors don’t follow the applicant to the UK

I am naive and would really appreciate your enlightenment �

to cut the long story short, it will be wise to hold the proof of funds in your account. or at least part of it. or if you can use a joint account

Please can you recommend schools that don't demand POF?

Proof of funds will be needed to apply for a visa regardless of the school, but some school also require that you submit proof of funds first before they Issue you a CAS... and that is what he want you to avoid.

Asking for IELTS in place of WAEC stating that the WAEC is over 10 years.

Any advice?

As it stand the only way is for you to get IELTS, but why waste money and time for IELTS when there are schools that can give you an offer with 20 years WAEC or NECO, If you can not get IELTS, Just apply to other schools. my NECO was 19 years old when i used it to get an offer.

i weak cos black market costs 1.2m naira extra cost and scouting for someone in uk to help with such payment is very rare

Relax, you sill hear from them soon if you did not get NSF mail. mine was DEC 21, today they still told me a decision has not been made. got NSF mail JAN 12, I escalated January 20. Jan 24 got mail from Sheffield team, see transcript below.

If you missed your appointment, you missed. When there was walking, you will be able to explore that option, but now that walking is no more. i don't know what will happen if you missed. Just try not to miss oh, you can arrive a day earlier.

Good morning please those you have filled or paid through the form A online, the correspondence bank is it the bank school operates with or the student bank he operates with in Nigeria

if there is no correspondence bank details on the payment instruction your bank gave you. you should leave it blank...
( sometimes some banks don't have access to some location, usually smaller banks they use another bank as correspondence to receive the money) that is where you need such information. if this happen it will also be on the instruction your banks has given to you

How long will it takes, to get disbursement message, after submitting the e-form A online

It is possible that this person is a dependant whose partner is already in the UK, they may want to check if the other partner moved the funds to the other account within the period after they have got their visa

Okay, I was just playing around with this uk admission thing and I applied to a school sometime last month . After a week , I received an email on something they called ‘conditional offer’ and they requested for my official waec result . I was kinda reluctant but I just summoned courage, went to ikorodu and pick up my waec transcript . Uploaded it on the school portal and I just checked the portal now is says I have been given an unconditional offer for sept intake . School fees is £14,000 and deposit required is £1,000 . Please does that mean I have been given admission? I didn’t submit more than my passport and waec result oo. Please I need answer .

Did you apply for undergraduate program, if there then go ahead. if it is postgraduate then you need to look at that school again.

you can, some school will contact you to upload your transcript before the give you an offer, some may give you an offer and put it as a condition in your offer, some may never contact you.

It is not too early to Pay Deposit , because of the time it takes for form A to process payment. you should start as soon as possible, and book your TB test ahead, as soon as possible, you can start targeting to apply as soon as April, there are lot of advantage when you apply ad get visa early.

Sorry for the long wait. it is better to keep an open mind to avoid those unnecessary trauma, stop paying for new paid mail, just reply to the existing paid mail and ask to check the status, they will respond.

You are not alone, Though mine is DEC 21, I got NSF mail nothing requested on the 12 JAN. they did not request anything from me, i also have a friend in similar situation who did biometric on DEC 20 got NSF twice, first request nothing JAN11, second JAN 21 he got another NSF mail requesting evidence of employment or studies, , I have send several email, until yesterday see below response i got from them.

I differed admission from Jan 2022 intake till Sept 2022 family of 5 and we already did TB test last year NOV 2021 which will expire MAY this year...Planing to do biometric before ending of MAR for the whole family hope I won’t have issues with our submission since the TB results expires By MAY 2022. Pls advice..really confused abt it...

I am not an expert.
But given that CAS is valid for 6 months , and a CAS can not be issued Until 6 months before your program start date and you can not apply for a visa until 6 months before program start date., I think the answer to your questions depends on when you get your CAS and when you eventually apply, If you already had a CAS before you differed your admission, have it in mind that this CAS may no longer be valid and you should request a new one from your School, your school may not issue you a CAS until 6 moths before your program start date.
So to properly answer your question. you have to identify your program start date, and count 6 months backwards to see if it match with your current application arrangements. and see if your TB cert will still be Valid at the time it will be at DMC.

Edwosa, Let me give you an idea of what BRP is so that you can Move on. I am not an expert sha.
So when your visa is approved, you Qualify for a residence permit to stay in the UK during the duration of your course and a little extra, But this permit is not given to you until you arrive in the UK... But you will be given a Visa, that i also hear them call a vignette, to enter the UK, this visa will be valid for a short period. that is the one that will be on your passport. so when you arrive, you can now enroll and Pick up your BRP , Hope it is not the Biometric that is confusing you, It is just a residence permit that has been prepared by the biometric information you summited at the VAC. Biometric information means (Finger print and face capture.)
If i do mistake, make una correct me, those of una wey don collect VISA and enter UK.

you don't use oanda to make payment, you only use is to calculate exchange rate

The limit on most naira card is $100 Dollars for online transaction

you should go there with your funded USD Card.

you can use it, since WAEC is easily verifiable online, they may ask you to send scratch in card to confirm.

I will advice you to wait for your CAS letter, your course end date will be on your CAS letter with the placement inclusive.
that is what you will use to calculate your IHS fee.
My course is 12 months and 3 months placement. i got a CAS that stated my course end date as JAN 31, 2023 the IHS fee was 705 GBP
few days later i received an updated CAS , Course end date has changed from JAN 31, to MAY 31, as a result IHS fee changed from 705 to 940.
I had to cancel my Visa application and submit a fresh one because i have not done biometric at the time. an still waiting a refund Oh.
