For all those that paid forUKVI SMS alert when a decision has been made?
Did anyone ever received Alert?

Just asking because i chose not to pay for it because the last time i did, i never received alert or refund.

you are going to pay close to 3k pounds for IHS alone, and visa fee is about 480 USD

It is not possible to pay for visa without first paying IHS fee. are you sure you have filled the form correctly?

my brother was 43 years old and graduated in 2005 (16 years study gap) they did not even request additional documents before they granted him a study visa in September last year, but a lot has changed since then with all this NSF mail. again all application are unique.

if you have been using yahoo mail to send them a message, there is a chance they never received your message, try using Gmail or outlook.
am talking from experience.

Good evening house I just think they wait to dispatch the passport in batches biometrics was 16th of Dec ikeja sent paid mail today and I got a reply that decision has been made.I wonder what’s delaying the transfer.

After a decision is made, it takes a few more days before visa is printed and dispatched. all you need is patience.

You are very correct. Many people receive mail on 27 and 28th we call holiday here.

some of us don't know how serious these oyinbo people take this their business. they also have we the customers at heart. and they will not want to use the holidays to pile up backlog they are already struggling. lol

NSF mail on the 23rd
Submitted my reference letters from previous and present job, nysc cert, CV on 28th Dec and since my application has been on DMC.

If you have a dollar Card, that means you have a card account, login to your mobile app or online bank. to look for your card account, you can then use OWN ACCOUNT Transfer to move the funds from your Dom account to your card account. That's all
if you had a card before , but expired or lost and you just got a replacement card, make sure it's activated

Please must it be Master card? How about a gt dollar Visa card that has been used prior to now for transactions? Mine keeps declining too

Make sure you have sufficient funds for the transaction, always add a little extra you never can tell your bank's conversion rate.

When you get NSF mail, and nothing required, it means your application is not straight forward, so it will take longer than their standard processing time, they need more time to verify some of the information you have provided.

There has been lots of complain. all they will say that they are aware of the situation,and they are working on it.
If you want to get a date try it at night as from 12am, it last only a few minutes, you can also try in the evening, between 4 and 5 pm, otherwise just keep trying as much as you can.

While using the form A, do you have to deposit funds in the account or you wait till you are told to do so.

Your account should be robustly funded before submitting form A.

If one cancels the current application, will one get a refund for the IHS and Visa fee or it will automatically take effect on the new application?

if you cancel your old application before biometric, you are suppose to get a refund within 28 days,
you can not apply the visa and IHS fee to your new application, you can not also apply your old appointment to your new application.
Ready to cancel? then make arrangements for fresh funds, or you wait until you get a refund.

Since it was not like that before, Just assume it's a glitch on the system, and try again later.

Please kindly assist me, I have been trying to get new date for biometric since Tuesday and no available date for biometric appointment. Could you please put me through how I can scale through to get the date for biometric. I have selected VI when am filling the form. Funny thing is that I have been sleeping in vi for past 3days, next week Tuesday night against Wednesday morning is my turn on the list.
I don't think is possible if i can appear without appointment and pay the 55poumds by hand plus 42k walk-in.

I happened to be in the same position like you last week, after sleeping there 2 night, i was to be Number 12 on Monday. I got home friday evening to discover that my school has sent me an updated CAS, it changed a lot of information on the form and increase the IHS fee. i canceled my application and submitted a new one, but i was not able to get a new appointment until Monday morning, then it was my turn, i went there with the old appointment thinking it was just to pass through the gate. and they can do it for me since its walk in. It got to my turn , i explained to them what happened, if they scan the the barcode on your checklist, nothing comes up on their system, Their supervisor told me that i must have appointment before i can walk in i ask them do book one for me, they said its a problem on their website and they are aware of it and working on it, that i should go and be trying it at night. She said once i have it i should come to her at the gate and explain, she will attend to me but i must come early. So i went home, luckily later that evening, i was able to get appointment for JAN 12, next day i was there as early as 6.30. when they started attending to appointment at 8 oclock, i waited for the appointment people to go in first, then i approached her and she remembered my case, and allowed me in,, by 9.30 i was already on my way home with a big smile on my face. Just try to get appointment before going there.

If someone did not get NSF message and get collection mail, does it signify the application was successful?

NSF means , your application was not straight forward, so if you did not received the mail, it means your application was straight forward and the documents you provided were sufficient to make a decision on your application regardless granted or not.

Just out of sheer curiosity.. as much as we are all eager to leave everything behind and move to the UK, have we all considered that after the MSc, you'd be required to apply for the PGW visa for yourself/family + another IHS surcharge (2yrs for MSc , 3yrs for PhD).?

Also after the PGW period, we are all required to get a sponsor (Employer) to move to a Tier 2 visa as the PGW visa can not be extended unless you're applying again for PhD or the dependent decides to embark on an MSc.

We don't seem to talk about this enough so that everyone is aware of what "Japaing" to the UK is going to entail and cost.

There is always a way.

Hmm, it is a problem on their TLScontct site since Saturday and they are aware and working on it, you you keep trying especially at night around midnight you will get a date.

Gen gen, you can not change it except you cancel the application and request a refund,
refund will be processed within 28 days.
You can look for another fund to pay your visa fee while you wait a refund.
Wait till Monday morning, when offices are open,you should find a date.
