Music/RadioRe: FAZE "Independent" OR 2FACE "Grass 2 Grace" by Egavlas(m): 4:27pm On Nov 29, 2007
I think 2face has some *AMAZING* lyrics.

Always makes sense with all his songs.

The interplay of rhymes and lyrical sense is beyond Faze for now(Faze try but e never reach).

You cant compare *Tatoo girls, wey them dey* with *If love is a crime, I prefer to dey go jail* or *For instance, say I be d one wey them give chance*

Goodness, Tuface's talent is not common.

no sect, its not late.

That grass 2 Grace album is awesome. All the tracks are huge hits.

See me so used to be the most popular track in that album, its been overtaken by others .

If he manages to do a good video for it, it would re-launch the song.

busygirl:
hmmmmm. . . .i guess the pirates had the larger share of the gain wink
busygirl,

Since most of the musicians came up with the marketing strategy of pricing their cds as low as the pirates (N150), there is now no point for someone to go through the stress of buying empty cds and recording just to sell at the same amount the musicians' cds are going for.
And still risk being clamped down and locked up.

What they do now is go to the music labels or the authentic marketers and take the cds at hugely discounted rates and thus manage to sell at the going rates of N150.

Piracy is now shifted to movies and foreign music .

I think you should get a list of their agents from their office and am sure someone should be able to give you the smart card alone.

Tuface is a good and talented musician, but unfortunately none of tuface videos are good enough 4 international except maybe truelove.Fazes videos are better Kennis music are not really good at making good videos
I agree with you suze, with all the wonderful music Tuface is making and by extension, all the money he is making for Kennis, its a shame that kennis Music can not make a *correct* video for him.

Even Truelove that you spoke about, does not meet up with the standards of the others we have mentioned here despite all the noise of the video being produced and made abroad.

The guy that did Infinity's Aye ole(Nigerian) could have done much better and I dare say, with less financial burdens.

Me just thinks Kennis Music milks Tuface like a fatted cow without commensurate contribution on their part.

The show will get more fans and viewers.

Many more people will start watching if only to see the tomatoe throwing time.

Just like shower time on BB.

@Klas,

Hope you are not going to start blaming MNET for the video on Youtube?

Youtube is user contributed and there is no way MNET can monitor what is going on everywhere.

I also think they may have to convince you tube why they should remove another user's video.

That may explain the time stretch.

Hey,

Paso Paso grin grin

Like someone mentioned here before,it seems the whole of Mushin have their hands on the phone.

But seriously though, people should start voting for their favs and the good dancers or else they will all be gone.

Like Sound Sultan said after one of his performances, "Dont say the boy is good" , go and vote.

I have heard about it too. Someone watched the Nigeria vs Ghana olympics qualifier on Ghana Tv while neither Hitv nor Dstv nor even NTA showed it.

I suspect it could be this

It was obvious the young girl has a crisis of some sort. Maybe mental or identity crisis.

Besides, its a drag where everyone follows a particular trail of thought without looking at all angles to the issue.

Am still able to read whats being posted and its refreshing to see other people with different views coming in.

Anyways, lets face Celebrity Takes Two.

Pasuma truly looks funny when dancing  grin grin grin
TV/MoviesRe: Celebrity Takes Two: New Dance Reality Show (Sponsor: Skyebank) by Egavlas(m): 12:51pm On Nov 26, 2007
lol

Pasuma can't dance even if his life depends on it.

And this surprises me cause he is a musician.

Even if his genre is juju, dance should be in him.

Another surprise is nomoreloss, a musician/artist who was struggling with his steps.

Maybe his comedian's posture didnt allow him to be serious.

i however have problems with some of the judgments

zizi , funlola & omowunmi were scored high marks but omowunmi was criticised by dayo for not doing "contemporary african dance", the poor girl was exasperated no be small
y is he always finding uneccessary faults?
i know he is supposed to critise them but haba! his own criticsm is too harsh

and y are they always going on about omotola's size? that is just not nice ah ah angry[/quote]Modups,

Julius made that comment about Omotola's size again yesterday.

It must have been embarrasing for her.

I know that any little comment about a female's weight or size, really worries em.

And not forgeting she is a celebrity so it must be worrying to her.
TV/MoviesRe: Celebrity Takes Two: New Dance Reality Show (Sponsor: Skyebank) by Egavlas(m): 12:22pm On Nov 26, 2007
Hey guys, I think former most beutiful girl, Omawunmi and Wale should be the winners.

Those two move very well together.

Omawunmi surprises me.

The last two performances were something to behold.

I actually saw a white guy in the audience almost in tears in awe of the performance.

Though the professional dancer who is one of the judges dampened the whole enthusiasm with his comments.

I think she deserves it from what I have seen so far.

I think our Nigerian artists have *upped* their game in the production of great music videos.

What are your favourite ones that can compete Internationally?

The Idea is to make the others stand up and be counted.

Some of my favourites that readily come to mind are:

Aye Ole : Infinity

Djinee's Latest: I no dey shame

Asa: Fire on the mountain

TY Bello: Green land .

There are more but I will start with these

Name yours.

ndi

Is it not very clear how biased you are?

That Kaydee wanted to expose my ignorance was clear he was trying to be insultive and you can tell by his comments.

And a person who curses someone out without reading through his/her posts definitely is under the influence.

By mentioning the *all knowing Lawyerchap*, I was reffering to the way he talked down at a post with a divergent view.

If he didnt know what he was doing, he wouldnt have said that he may come across as condescending.

You asked Dalby what he was trying to portray by posting Larrybabes post. Why didnt you ask spora what he was
trying to achieve by urging his cronnies to go look at my profile?(Such double standards).

Is it not very obvious, the motive behind your post?

Madame, I really don't need your respect if  the respect can be gotten only if I line up in the cue with your views.
