It is too unfortunate that folks like you who claim Nigeria so much have decided to trade Nigeria for political gains.
US is obviously being mischievous and all you do is insult Mr President!
Anyway, just know that when Nigeria finally scatters, and you start looking for whom to blame, add your name on that list.
First Nigeria will not scatter. Secondly, Jonathan is not transparent and excessively corrupt - nobody in his right mind make a deal with such person.

How can one justify smuggling money to South Africa to procure illegal arms when there legitimate ways to get it? Why is Jonathan afraid of the Front gate? Why must he always enter his good neighbour's house by jumping over the fence at the back-yard? Why is he exporting his Stealing-Is-Not-Corruption style of Government to other countries?

The Zoologist must be voted out before he sinks this nation with anarchy and corruption.
Politics › Legislators: Should It Be Loyalty To Political Party Or Constituents? by egift(op): 5:52am On Nov 12, 2014
As Speaker House of Representative, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal battles the PDP who want to do all they can to "teach him a lesson" as my friend will always put it, one issue have become paramount.

1. While a member of the House will support the agenda of his political party from which he was elected, should he be at the mercy of his Political Party or should his Responsibility be to the Constituency at Home who he is representing?

2. When he change political party should he now lose this membership as Member of the Legislative Arm of Government? Or should he remain (even if in the case when his political have no atom of crisis?

3. Also do we continue with the arrangement where the Political Parties own the Lawmaker and consider him a piece of Investment? Whenever he try to leave, he will be reminded of the investments that were made on him and should he leave, he will be kicked out of his position.

Am happy the issue of Tambuwal and the subsequent Recess of the House is providing an opportunity for us as a Nation to review this part of our Constitution. Post out opinion.

God bless Nigeria.

what is all this you have written here?
is faruk not mr. intergreedy tambuwal's right hand man?
was it not faruk that appointed him chairman of the committee to extort money from people like otedola?
did tambuwal not share the money from the extortion committee?
You are deliberately deviating from the issue (I understand your plight). Fact is I have made my points and you too have. Let's leave it there.

@Topic:
Tambuwal will not be impeached. His fate like others who decamped (from one party to the other) will be determined by the court. In the next 2 months, he will be leaving the House to pursue his Governorship aspiration - But as a Nation, members of the house must be responsible to their constituents and not enslaved to their political parties.

Being the House of Reps is a call to serve the people and not an investment opportunities for Political parties.

this country is diverse ethnically and an agreement cme about that the speakership should come to the south west, tambuwal and his northern cohorts hijcked it with their born to rule mentality and fraudulently obtained seats through cencus rigging, it is a known fact that the land mass is what the north enjoys and not the people to populate it .m that aside, I still stand my ground he should resign. Who is the head of the house? Aand who is most obliged to follow the rules? Tambuwal knows what he did is wrong. I will respect him for doing the honourable thing. That is my stance not who controls the house. It is a known fact tht most legislatures are governed or remote controlled as you said by the party in power. Shikena.
After your inability to implicate Tambuwal of any wrong doing as a Speaker of the House, you have resorted to sentiments and name calling. Read through the bold text in your comment and see the contradictions and how appalling your comment is.

Nigeria can be better if Institutions of Government are effective. I have no problem where the Speaker comes from, but let the House discharge their duties as an Arm of Government as provided by law and not a subsidiary some group of cabals. It is wrong to advocate that Loyalty of Lawmakers should be to their Political Parties and not the Constituents they represent.

who protected Mr. Intergreedy Faruk Lawan?
And swore to shut down the government if the police arrest him?
If you do not know it, tambuwal shared the bribe money with Faruk lawan mr intergreedy!
The case of Faruk is just a tip of Jonathan's degraded failure in embracing corruption. If Jonathan is interested in fighting crime, there are legal process already in place. But having the police to ambush Faruk and bundle him into a van is not part of it.

And before you "Faruk" the main topic here, don't forget that it was Jonathan's administration that engineered and protected Otedola for implicate the Greedy/Corrupt Faruk (a PDP member) in the nation's quest to unravel how deep Jonathan's administration and Oil Marketers have defrauded Nigeria.

Since the Fall of Faruk, what has happen to the findings of the President's committee on Subsidy? How about Ribadu's report, NNPC audits, Ministry of Finance inability to reconcile all the figures, Alison's part of the scam, how many of the oil marketer are in jail for defrauding Nigeria, what of the Forensic Audits?

And in case you still want to uphold your virtues or you are persecuted for not compromising and help in looting, here is Jonathan's word of encouragement - Stealing Is Not Corruption

Have you ever stopped to listen to yourself? I doubt it. When Tambuwal was with us he wasn't a progressive suddenly after decamping you fight for the integrity of the legislature.
Can you post any decision of Tambuwal that is a wrong legislative move since he has been Speaker. He is accepted across political parties. He was elected Speaker by a combined votes of members of the opposition and some of the PDP members in the House against the wishes of PDP and their anointed candidate. Tell us where I have ever said a word against Tambuwal even in PDP?

The fact remains that PDP want to pulling the strings of the House of Representatives and remote-control what they do and how they do it. Tambuwal must not be disgraced out, else every other Speaker that comes after him will be a redundant stooge of his political party.

Who becomes the Speaker MUST remain a decision of the House. Save the House of Representatives from Political Parties.

When all powers that be in PDP stood against Jonathan, Jonathan promised if only he could serve on term, OBJ, spent so much Political Capital to get Jonathan the ticket in 2011 - Just because he wrote a Letter to Jonathan and offer counsel, Jonathan and his paid agents badmouthed OBJ, calling him unprintable names. Now he want his support again.

Jonathan can try buying his way around. But OBJ is not interested. QED.

I did recommend you stick with issues you know about and stop dabbling into matters you are clueless about. Are you the one that send me Checks? It is understandable if you collect money to promote the corruption of Jonathan - that is none of my business. But I assure you, many Nigerians like myself are speaking out against a very incompetent and corrupt government. So no level of insults, blackmail and intimidation will sway any citizen of this great nation from standing against this incompetent Zoologist.

When we joined millions of Nigerians to march the streets to make Jonathan a substantive President and during the dubious Subsidy removal ambush - where were you?

So before running haywire with your character assassinations, have facts. This will be the first and the only time I will dignify this insult/accusation with a response.

Do have a lovely day.

PDP do not have the votes. That is why they are using Self-Help. BTW, it is easier to remove Ihedioha from all leadership position than Tambuwal.

Tambuwal has less than 2 months to be the house before heading back home to contest the Governorship position in Sokoto. The current fight now is to protect Nigeria's House of Reps to become another stooge of PDP and be remotely controlled by any Political Party. Every well-meaning Nigerian will support Tambuwal to ensure the Integrity/Independence of the Legislative Arm of Government.

PhockPhockMan:
APC, a congregation of power hungry men and women, whose only aims and objectives is only to grab power at the center by any means possible, without any plans on what to do with it. Even before they were registered as a political party, their moves, lies, deceptions, double talks and so on painted them as a ticking time bomb. While they were serious making political capital out of the insecurity situation by criticizing the president, they made no effort towards the solution, instead they criticize the president for imposition of state of Emergency.
From then on, it's one bomb or major killings each time the president want to perform any major event. PDP Kano Rally, World Economic Conference, Centenary celebrations etc. As expected from a responsible Opposition, it's expected that they condemn the evil acts and the likely actors, instead, they heap the blame on the president even when 95‰ of the crisis zone is under their control.
Atiku Abubakar, Buhari, KWANKWASO, Nda Isiah, all of APC, declared their intentions to run for presidency without any reported sound of gun shot.
Two days to the scheduled declaration of Jonathan for the Presidential election 2015, again, the evil men struck, killing almost 50 innocent children, all in the name of stopping Jonathan’s declaration today.
Unfortunately for them, he refused to be stopped hence their hypocritical cry of
"INSENSITIVE".
Who is insensitive here?

THANK GOD WE'RE NOT FOOLS.
