Politics › Re: Jang Tackles Gov. Fashola by egift(m): 8:54am On Jun 24, 2013
Amaechi got 19 votes, while Jang had 16. Amaechi won. Nigerians should not allow this arm-twisting to stand. If not by 2015, Jonathan will excavate "signatures" from all of us. And if the election don't favour him, he can bully us and refuse to leave power.

Weputa aka enwe na ofe tupu ogoo aka mmadu (let stop this not we can).

Jegede26: * Traditionally, the NGF does not hold elections to produce a chairman. It is the practice that the Chairman of the forum is appointed by consensus of the members. Where a consensus cannot be reached, the candidate supported by a simple majority would become the chairman.
Someone need to Jang that in light of the bold election was held. His participation in the election nullifies other complaints like Amaechi not stepping down before the election, ballot papers (those where INEC's - same used in electing Jang) and election not the regular practice.

So why should he now reject the result of "simple majority to return to consensus because the outcome did not favour him.

This is even more shameful when you consider that this illegality is orchestrated and have the full backing of President Jonathan, who perhaps is test-running a 2015 Template.

Ngwakwe: Can you imagine every neophytes following the opposition and majority of Northern Elites to call GEJ drunken fisherman just because he hails from Bayelsa and is Ijaw.
My Okoman, read the bold and answer the following:
What did Jonathan study?

Ignorance is the worst disease.
Politics › Re: Sule Lamido Sets Eye On Presidency by egift(m): 8:31am On Jun 24, 2013
They can bring it any day. If the northern elites love Nigeria, they should forfeit their greed and support a Buhari/Fashola in 2015. That way Nigerian masses can benefit from good/focused leadership and policies.

I asked because your initial post have no connotation with the issue being discussed. But your second response is not only lame but filled with ignorance.

Ngwakwe: Is people like you that will turn every move of GEJ as object of ridicule that is causing her to shove it to your hypocritical face.
So madam is now "shoving it" to the faces of every Nigerian. What if I may ask? (Her privildege and the opportunity Nigerians gave the husband to be president?)

Ngwakwe: Call her anything you like, she is a private citizen and not a PDP executive nor is she the PDP woman leader.
Who is a "private citizen"? The wife of Mr. President or the Permanent Secretary? So in your tiny mind those party leaders also get to shut down Lagos and PH when they visit, like Madam P?

Ngwakwe: The call to stop her is in itself undemocratic as she holds no official political post neither was she present during the recent PDP NEC meeting.
So if INEC ask her to desist from such lawlessness, it is "undemocratic"? But just two weeks ago Presido got INEC to issue a directive that prohibits all political parties, including PDP, any form of 2015 campaigns.

As I said either you are blinded by sentiments, ignorant or you have your head buried in some unmentionables.

Politics › Re: 2015 Campaign: APC Wants INEC To Sanction Jonathan’s Wife by egift(m): 8:25pm On Jun 23, 2013
Ngwakwe: When everybody is busy insulting her husband, nobody tried to caution anybody but now that somebody is angry, everybody is now complaining.

Mrs GEJ is not campaigning but just venting her anger against the hypocrites who see no good in whatever her husband does.

By the way, she is Nigerian woman. Not imported from Europe or USA.
Are you okay at all?

Health › Re: Signs Of Drowning & How To Help by egift(m): 11:35am On Jun 23, 2013
Just want to share my own experience. (I will try to keep it short).

As a kid, I lived with my parent in a community in Ikom, CR. One day we went to the river to bath and fetch water, a boy from the compound we lived, took my 5ltr gallon and threw it into the river. For fear I will loose it, I went out to get it (I was small and could not swim then). The water current took me, I kept dipping in and out, shouting, swallowing large quantity of water, smacking the water as hard as I could in hope to stay afloat. The river took me from the spot were kids swim to the women section, through the area they had stones/rocks. It was at that point it dawned on me that its up. (Note there were a lot of people on the beach that day). I was loosing strength, sinking deeper than initially.

The last section down the beach before the deep, dark, sluggish area - was a large rock, where men do swim. When I was under the water I just had to gather as much energy as I could once I was up again screamed and did all that was left and start a final descend.

It was as my surrounding was getting darker as I sink that I saw a man swim over, grabbed me and I collapsed in his arms. For me I never knew whatever that happened next from that afternoon to the evening the next day, when I fully got back to my senses. My dad ensured I not only can I swim, but it became one of my natural skill. After 30 plus, this remain my nearest experience to death.

I thank God for my life and the man who risked his life to rescue me.

General Theophilus Danjuma is of the few trust friends and backbone President Jonathan have in Nigeria today. But for saying the truth that our leader (including Jona) are not patriotic - he is now tagged Boko Haram. For your information Gen. Danjuma is a dedicated Christian. Shame on PDP and touts here.

Politics › Re: 2015 Election: Jonathan (PDP) Vs Fashola (APC) by egift(m): 10:17pm On Jun 22, 2013
Torch1: Dreamers!

Buhari and his Hausa-fulani brothers will never allow Fashola a Yoruba to get the presidential ticket as APC candidates comes 2015 even though it is obvious that Fashola is the only person in APC that can defeat GEJ.
A Buhari/Fashola ticket can get majority votes from the North and SW. With a good and specific offer to SE (less hostility or acceptance could be reach) which will help pile off some votes. With a handful here and there, it is a landslide.

Buhari will be a figure head upholding the law, integrity and the direction of government. While Fashola will see to the smooth administration of government. Buhari have the legacy of allowing free hands to those under him to do their jobs as long as its within the laws and vigor.

Politics › Re: Jonathan Advocates Two-party System by egift(m): 1:33pm On Jun 22, 2013
PapaBrowne: This combination always makes the best of Fashola's fans puke. Fashola, a very intelligent man who has worked hard and produced results is barred from contesting the presidency because one almost illiterate, power hungry terrorist sympathiser has an unending desire to rule Nigeria.

Why not Fashola on top of the ticket.
Fashola alone cannot clinch the Presidency because of the the current polarization in Nigeria. Buhari is an upright man with is well accepted in the North too. And if the Northern leaders really want power back to the North, a little support for the ticket is a landslide victory. (Their only fear is that Buhari will not think twice to haul them to jail if convicted).

And for your hatred for Buhari, you can chock on it.

For me, I want a second term for Rochas, Soludo for Anambra and Chime handing Enugu to another performer. With security and good leadership, Ndigbo can do well. Everything else can go suck their balls.
