Bros, the last time this happened to me on my own Toyota camry 2004.

I called an electrician, who charged me #16,500 to get it fixed.

I negotiated to #9,500 and he tried to work on my speedometer, and bought fuel gauge sensor.

Only fuel gauge is #4,500

Didn't work. Electrician wanted to refer me to someone else, who he said, if he can't fix it, I should book 16k to buy new speedometer.


Called my mechanic, he simply went to buy the sensor, fixed it himself, it worked.

He did it for me, for free.........

He told me the problem with changing sensor is buying the right one meant for your car, test it and hope it is OK when you fix it. Its very sensitive, can burn very easily............


That's why I said mechanic- and by mechanic I meant experienced mechanic - or Electrician.

In my case, Mechanic was more experienced than electrician so.............

Fuel gauge sensor in the fuel tank is bad, it costs no more #4500.......

A good mechanic/electrician can change it for you......

Its just under the back seat, where the fuel tank cover is.....

My so called fiancee is fond of giving out her number without stress or restrain to any man who ask from her. I noticed this anonying and dis-respectful habit since last year December.
