Someone has probably answered it in the thread, but we have spent hours reviewing the thread to no avail. The application is for a Canadian PR, and we don't know which of the options to choose in the below photo. Attend Business Meeting |

BLACKBOY19: You guys have money for paid email despite say una go dey complain say money no dey 9ja.
Why can't you just be patient
You guys are just making the UK govt cash out more with this your paid emails. If your visa has not been overly prolonged like 2 months, I don't think you should bother plus they told you ahead of this Ukraine nonsense.
So continue wasting your money with paid email if you want. It does not affect anything. Also stop with the entitlement mentality cos you paid money for your visa.
June 6 Abuja, I am still waiting for the visit visa of my gf.
I did June There is an option on TLC to keep your passport. If you have planned international travel within the next 6 months choose this option, when booking biometric appointment as there is no guarantee your passport will come out as expected. |

kod161: I think we all need to be patient. Yes we paid for the service, but they have responded that request are high which is unusual and we all know the reason. I understand that it is really causing anxiety to some people. Best thing is to await their feedback. Today makes it exactly 2months (since May 24) that my mum did biometrics and application is being considered, decision he not even been made. She has valid US, Canadian and other countries visa and she has been in the UK within the last 10 years. Yet she is experiencing this. But what can we do, just be patient and be hopeful. Thanks. I wonder. Home office has clearly stated that they are giving priority to Ukraine visa applicants. So if you want to wait three months to travel date to apply, that is your problem. Factor this when applying and apply on time. |

fathermonkey: Not sure what you mean the UK sees her as an immigration risk though, as she's already in there doing the masters programme and has probably visited the UK not less than 20 times and has been to the US before.
But yes, asides from the masters being a personal dream for her, maybe we did believe it would help with the revocation issue.
Not sure what circumstances might have changed, as visas are granted by discretions so there might be a just reason and there might absolutely be not just reason.
And i'd explore other options for here, canada might just be a way faster option on the long run.
Thanks for your sympathy and advice. Sorry I mistook the part that you said she was in the UK as a student to planing to study in the UK. |

Palolisthajoly: So I was refuse visa yesterday. Reasons do not make sense to me. Yesterday was the graduation ceremony and he waited for 8weeks before refusing the visa. The officer claimed I didn't explain spending more money. However, I submitted a cover explaining all debits and credits on my bank statement for the 6 month period. To me his reasons are vague and flimsy and I'll like to complain. Do anyone know how I can go about it? The ECO added your debits in a month and it was more than N60K you stated as expenditure amount in a month. You did not provide other sources of income. The refusal is technical as the ECO does not consider your relationship to your cousin enough reasons for you to want to spend your income to attend a graduation ceremony. It is well. |

Open a company bank account separate it from personal account 2. You may wish to pay or not pay yourself, if you do, let such transaction be documented and clearly initiated from your company account. 3. Ensure that your company has active status on CAC website 4. Provided documentation for Tax payments/assessment for your company and you. 5. If you have properties like house, land etc. prepare to submits it too. Any documents that demonstrate to the ECO that you will return back to Nigeria should be submitted. If your wife get her visa, the chances that you will also get it when you apply alone is bright. However, you must have a good reason to visit the UK. I hope this will help. |

temodent: I initially tried not to contribute to this debate but with the arrogance in complete ignorance displayed by this person. I'm forced to comment before he/she will go and mislead innocent souls.
Doubt if such a person would even be lifted from Nigeria because the airlines that lift such a person with visiting visa without a return ticket is liable to a fine.
Visitors should beware, allow the guy to dance naked in the market square by him/herself but don't get yourself misinformed. No mind the poser, No airline will board you on a one-way ticket on a visitor visa. The default ticket options on every airline websites or travel agents is a return ticket booking. Airlines pays fines for carrying illegal immigrants or bear cost of deportation. My comment using flight ticket was I known that the lady has a return ticket as she clearly stated that she was going on a visit. |

fathermonkey: Has anyone here had a revoked visa and been able to get a new b2 visa after?
my mum had hers revoked in 2017(and no, she never worked illegal or overstay or any silly offence), she tried to take my siblings in for their visa interviews, they got rejected and hers got revoked and she was not notified until she tried to travel and she got sent back in London. Now, siblings were both able to get f1 visa a year or so later, she's tried twice, and she still got denied.
she tried to come for my graduation and one siblings graduation, she got denied. she lost a sibling in the US and tried to come for their funeral, applied for an expediated appointment, got denied also. so she waited for the date she was given which was today, from about 6 months ago. remaining sibling graduates next year which is a valid reason, she applied in the UK this time as she's getting a masters there, but nope she got denied again today , they claimed she has hometies to the US more than the UK, i guess she would obviously abandon a program she paid millions . . she's probably gonna miss the third graduation at this point. this is not making sense but hey, i understand a visa is a priveledge, but one day, it'll end in joy.
I just need to rant and probably hear people's experience as regards this revocation issue. I figured revocation would be a very big issue.
pardon my typos, thank you all I am sorry for your mums refusals. To cut the long story short, both USA and UK are convinced that you mum is an immigration risk. That’s she has more home ties to USA than Nigeria, hence the refusals. Wanting to go to UK to do a Masters was seen as alternative way to enter the USA as a UK based student. Clearly her circumstances in Nigeria has not changes from that of 2017. Best options is for you to have US citizenship and petition for her to join you via immigrant visa. |

I am self-employed I don't have a payslip or tax clearance but I have more than enough in my account... Please how do I go about it? Do your wife have a UK visa? If not allow her to apply for her visa jejeli to go write her exams and come back. Doing a joint application is risky and may jeopardize her chances unless you have an impressive travel history to ‘A’ list countries. Your profile (self-employed, no payslips, no tax clearance) is a immigration risk. However, If you wife apply alone, she will use you, her job and the kids if any as home ties. |

I don’t think he has BRP he didn’t give me when I apply for the visa Sure you can carry his british passport data page. Just in case. At least know his address and telephone number. As a first timer going to the UK, you will be asked questions at POE. A likely scenario is this: POE- What is your business in the UK? You- To visit my husband POE- How long will you be staying? You - 4 weeks or 30 days POE - Do you know his address? You- Yes POE- What is his status in the UK! You- British Citizen, show them his passport data page There could be other follow-up questions by the POE just to convince themselves that you’re are not planing to over stay. My question is, since I was granted a UK Visit Visa in 2020, do I need to declare the German Visa refusal each time I apply for a renewal UK Visa? Yes for every application you will submit for any type of visa type. If ask about past visa refusals and date. Please declare them. If you do not, and its discovered, you will be ban for 10 years. |

Do I need to get a new invitation letter from my husband? Or I should use same letter I submitted though the previous letter has arrival date as 20th June and leaving July not August and September You do not need a new invitation letter. Just be familiar with your husband address in the UK or his mission in the UK. The home office may ask. You can carry along with you a copy of his passport data page and visa or his BRP card. Please I want to ask if he has a chance to appeal or what can he do please. 10 years ban. No appeal. This is a lesson for applicant not disclosing their previous refusal. They use your biometric data to check your previous applications. So change of passport or name will not change your ten finger prints. |

leef2022: With due respect to you, I was not responding to her post, but yours and requirements to process a PTA.
You may wish to educate me pls, is there anywhere the UK home office states if you are going for a visit to the UK and its borders, that you must book a return ticket? Whatever reason and wherever you are headed to, if you want to process the PTA in Nigeria, you need a valid return ticket.(even persons with study visa who could stay for a longer period needed a return ticket to process, so i don't get what you on about visit or stay). And I suppose even if you had a visa that permits you to stay, if you needed a PTA for your trip, you needed to provide your financial institution with a valid return ticket....
Thanks I have travelled widely, and I can tell you for free that no airline, I repeat, no airline will board you on visit visa without a return ticket. Even if you’re visiting multiple countries, you must have a return ticket back to Nigeria. The conditions for an airline or travel agent to sell a one way ticket is as follows. 1. You are a citizen of your final designation country - no visa needed 2. You have a resident permit of your final designation country - appropriate visa is still required 3. You have a immigrant visa to final designation country Only condition 1 is certain. Some airlines may not sell a one-way ticket even with condition 2 & 3. Beside before you depart Nigeria. Your passport information and flight itinerary are uploaded to your country of final designation. |

Otherwise you have to buy at BDM rate at the airport. Since you already have your visa. You do not need to carry much physical cash. $500 cash is enough as your husband will be waiting for your at the airport. |

Jobminister: Yes there will issue invitation letter after confirmation of my payment. As for refund of training fee, I need to work on this because of their refund policy, I need to book for my training like at least six month after my interview date in case of any denial, because to get refund from them, it should be at least three month before the training start date, when it is less than three month, they can only pay 50% back, anything less than one month, my money don go be that, the people don play me MMM be that lol. Yes the training is very well related to my job., the organization is very well known and existed since 1919 with very important purpose, with good online presence as well. Okay. Likely questions from VO will revolve around the training, why USA?, and who is paying for the training. Prepare for questions on family ties, your job and pay. |
Travel › Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by ekpotek: 8:14pm On Jul 19, 2022 |
Jobminister: The training is from a certain certify national body and they only do in person training only in their head office in the US.
Although other individual organisation can also do that kind of training, but that national board in the US is very valid and has good prestige. Option 2: You get an invitation letter. I hope the training fee will be refunded if you do not get the visa. The training must be related to your work and the organizer should have online presence as the VO will certainly check it out if its legit. |
