So many times when I come here, see a topic on the board then try to make inputs, some of you won't just let me because of how you've turned that topic into funs. I know it good having funs but when somebody is in a tight corner like this fellow, why turning what he/she expected to funs? If you want to catch funs then go to the Jokes section and let others give useful opinions. We must grow into maturity and not behaving like a child at all times. Remember, you may find yourself in a situation that you need advice from people someday. This place as far as am concerned is the best place that you can get meaningful information on diverse issues and is also watch by millions around the globe. This status should please be maintained. If you don't have any meaningful input about a topic, just read it and pass rather than turning that topic into something else or causing unnecessary confusion. Please, let's be guided. Welldone.

At times I wonder the nature of Christianity practice in some christian churches. We should always try to bear in mind the true meaning of Christianity and eventhough we cannot live up to a 100% of what it means, 50% should be possible. Christian maturity is not in you reading/having the ability to quote the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and not in how you can shout or scream  in defending what you know/believe about the Gospel! It is actually about the way you talk/converse/relate with people on daily basis. The Bible says that the one who does not offend in words is the perfect man.  Our words reveals the nature of people that we are. We must always -consciously and unconsciously mind the way we talk with people. You don't have to shout and scream  with insults to let somebody agree with what you are saying. It actually telling that you are of a lesser breed and a babe in the things of God. You don't know who may be reading your post here and get blessed/his life change. Or is it because we are virtual here to each other so you have to talk the way you like knowing fully well that nobody here can trace you to your actual physical location to do anything to you or even just to identify you. I thank God we all believe in the same Supreme Creator and He can see us anywhere we are within the globe. Brother, speaking in tongues is a choice and a choice is made based on your convictions about something. These people believe it works and they have been seeing results and you believe it doesn't because it can't produce for you though I am on the believe that it works. So you have your own believe and we have ours and it should not be by force  that all of us must believe the same thing so why do you want to kill yourself that we should believe what you believe when you cannot even convince to do so? So take it easy maybe with time you'll come to our own believe but I think you should begin to believe that it works even with all your proves so far. Speaking in tongues really works because it stirs power, dominion, etc out of you and it also drives fears away from you and so on and so on brother.

That's how they keep on having names of disease that don't even exist because they know too much. What a bondage of the mind!

I can't advice anybody for inter-marriage. If during courtship the girl refuses to change to your own church, pls run away because she doesn't loves you and she won't make a good wife no matter how she tries, but in your own case, you forced yourself on her. If your wife really loves you, she should love your church and be ready to change eventhough you were worshiping idol before she came, she should join you or change you or leave you alone to continue with what you believe. Very sorry, the marriage can even fold if extra care is not taken. You are seeing her strange and same she is to you. It was your fault man. Since you could not changed her from onset I think she should change you, join her and do what she did so that both of you can operate at the same level. But if I may ask: which church did you had your wedding? C'mon, how can in a home a man has it own place of worship and the woman has it own separate? How does that sound to the ear?

Well, it's quite unfortunate that it happening this way but in any case, something has to be done. First, you have to be praying for him and encourage him to pray as well. Again, i think he has so much fear about the exam esp as it is a final year exam and this is not necessary. Talk to him that he will only be examined based on what he was taught and nothing more and hence there shouldn't be any fear. Exams period is always a happy one for serious students because they know the time has come to prove who you really are/were before now. There is no point going for sleeping tabs for him, what is actually happening to spirit is fear, anxiousness and nothing more. But right now, he needs some rest and how? Drugs may cause him to become addicted over time, alcohol is still going that line and he should stay away from them. So what? Give him a Bible, he should start reading it from Genesis 1 forward lying face-up on his bed with a pillow and holding the book upward and reading it. He should put behind whatsoever he was thinking in his mind and just concentrate with it. His room should be only with a fast blowing fan (no air-conditioner). He'll sleep. When he wakes up, he should eat well and then go to playground and play his best game to satisfaction. Take a warm bath, start reading the Bible again like a novel from where he stopped with same room condition and he'll sleep again and even better now. At times, over seriousness in school/anything may be a problem. Better still, he should be attending tutorial classes to become more grounded. Watch tutorial videos too. But a day should not pass without him playing/catching funs to ease his temperance. I think i should stop here. He'll perform magic during exams. Goodluck.

Millions of people across continents are letting Pastor Chris scam them on daily basis without complaining and millions before the year runs out including you would be adding to the number that Pastor Chris has been scamming for decades now and would be scamming for years to come as you claim with your like-minded thinkers. But again, I think your Gross Mental Output and Attitude (GMOaA) is erroneously low and I would be fixing you bit by bit few seconds from now. Firstly, no member of Believers LoveWorld (BLW) pays for any printing of RORs but buys from the church. Maybe what came to your mind was ROR partnership arm of the church which such money are used in buying RORs for free distribution e.g. during ReachOut campaigns, prison visits, children's day celebration, missionary trips, etc and DEFINITELY not paid for printing but purchases for the aforementioned purposes. Even within the church, during such free distributions, members are not encourage to get from there for their personal use because of the purpose there were purchased for. Grey, please, offers, tithes etc are not used for RORs production or distribution but you should be asking yourself where spending for things such as church buildings, trips, upkeeps, send-a-bible project, disaster intervention e.g. Haiti incident, church maintenance e.g. lightenings, stage set, organizing programs, website designs and maintenance, church planting in nations, etc comes from. I know you are wondering now! Again, Pastor Chris is not running ROR business or publishing business not because we owns a publishing house so you'll be ascribing it to him. BLW is too big to be doing their printings in printing presses around. You expected as big as we are to be printing things outside -A thousand times NO! especially when we have the power to get anything. You are just attacking RORs, how about large sums we sow as seed? How about large sums we sow into his life? How about large sums we spend everyday? But again, you are not wondering that for so long he has been scamming us, we are still growing even bigger and bigger and millions joining to be scammed. For me, my prayer is that he device more new means of scamming us because that's the secret of our growth. Finally, ask yourself, how many churches around the world is like BLW. Well, I dn't know about how yours is but one thing i do know abt stammerers is that they are always quick to anger and with quick moves to commit abomination. Am sorry i may not advice my sister to ur advantage. U may get annoy one day and break her head. But then i can still advice that u start with a love letter telling her who u really are (though an old pattern but still effective) so that she won't be surprise or see u as a comedian when u are trying to tell her a word or two. If u are lucky, she may fall 4u and love u even more than the way u expected. AND finally, stammering can be cured. Don't think because u were born with it there is nothing u can do. I think the main thing you should be working on right now is changing his mentality towards life. Let him understand that he can still make it even if he failed a thousand times! Let him understand that the best he can do for his life right now is investing it on education. Remind him of the story of the prodigal son who wasted many years in a strange land with riotous living yet he realizes his mistakes and retraced his steps. Your son must realize his mistakes too and make amends. If you push him into business now, no matter how big the capital may be, he won't be able to manage it. The most important thing he needs now is right thinking, the believe and ability to rise up after a fall. Let him also understands that a good percentage of his failure can be attributed to his friends and hence, he has to turn away from them and make new friends with positive minds and the zeal to make it big in life legitimately. Lastly, draw him close to God. But you the parents, how strong are you in God? Were you able to lay that good foundation for him when he was at that infant stage so that when he grows up, he won't depart from it? A good percentage of his problem can also be put on you. Zim, yes I downloaded the driver from the HP site itself. The actual model of the HP Pavilion notebook is dv6910us (dv6700). I have even tried Microsoft UAA, still no joy. If you have any more option, I'll appreciate and I can still try. I just need a way out of this.

Zim Drill, thanks also. Find below the situation of my sound/sound card. It just stopped working one day. I have tried everything humanly possible with drivers but to no avail before taking taking it to a repairer that attributed it to the bad IC.

I've once make a post about my audio problem in dv6700 and later took it to a repairer since all driver couldn't work the problem and the person told me that my sound IC is bad. Please, am asking if anyone can help find this IC for me, it serial no. is [b]KB3920QF [/b]so that I can get my sound back. I've check around computer accessories shops here in Calabar to no avail. I need you guys help pls. Again, my CD/DVD ROM is dissappearing from Explorer window and when I check it from Device Manager, it shows: HD-DT%ST  DVDRAE GSA-T20N ATA device with a yellow exclamation mark. I have tried using the Device Manager to update the driver automatically but still no joy. Pls help because I cannot used my CD/DVD ROM any longer. Find pix attached on what I meant.
