10. It is Sunnah for whoever intends to sacrifice an animal for this purpose to refrain from cutting his nails and hair immediately the crescent of Dhul Hijjah is sighted.

if this practice is trully a remembrance of the sacrifice Abraham made then only the animal Abraham sacrificed will be used. This your own is obviously a copy of another thing different from that of Abraham. I learnt Mohammed‘a grandpa made some camel sacrifices to his idol. Since Abraham didn’t sacrifice camel, your Ud’hiyah is a copy of what Mohammed’s pagan grandfather did!
