He is taking some sort of immunosuppressant to prevent his body from rejecting the transplants, if I remember correctly from the article. Hmm, though now I wonder what would happen though if they stopped being effective..? Anyway, having to take drugs for the rest of your life is probably not ideal. But I think the benefits outweigh the negatives. I agree with you ndu_chucks. Bioengineering/biosciences/medicine to me personally are probably the most interesting careers one can choose. |

Or is this beef given away for free? Rather than hard-earned money being used to buy it? |
Eating children. That is something an impoverished man might do, yes. But given that they are wealthy enough to afford beef, then presumably they are in no danger of resorting to cannibalism. Or do you think this is still the 1800s? ![]() You are 200 years behind. |
Imagine in this age of international trade and commerce, someone saying what nagoma just stupidly said. |
Are the Fulani the only people on earth from whom cows can be purchased? Even if they don't want to sell, is there not chicken one can buy? Lmao Having the money to buy meat is what is essential, not the guy selling the meat. |
Can we see a plot of pass rates over time? Also, why is a pass rate of 10% bad? Were we expecting 90% or something? You can get even 100% pass rate if you like just by lowering your standards. But then I'm not sure how valuable such an exam would be.. |
i don't understand this mentality of some christians like cashmentor who seem to see any sort of science as bad. Presumably God knew what he was doing when he made human beings creative and inquisitive.. |
And who asked the permission of CR folk before these people were "escorted" there? They should have been escorted to Mali or the former Senegambia. |
wtf? |
yeah this is pretty disgusting |
cashmentor: Any attempt to explore and colonize space, any attempt to feed our eyes and see beyound the extraordinary: will surelly bring about great wrath from God or possibly, an end to Human race....i begin to wonder if these wackle scientists are looking for God in space....why can't they just back down before they put my groving and splendid life to a scary end?wtf? Why would God be mad at you exploring space? |
Interesting...and scary. |
what happened to i will run a single term and if Nigerian leaders could run a single term they will perform more than if they were worried about re-election!! I no want insult my president abeg but GEJ your are contradicting your reasoning and feeding on your vomit!!
Which leaders do you know of who keep their promise to only run for one term? |
He was not elected twice. Only once. Being sworn in twice is not the same as being elected twice. |
wetin concern tinubu's 60th birthday with lagos assembly. smh |
You don't suffer in any way from using a good IDE.... it is just a productivity tool. You don't have to use any features in it that you think are "cheating" or inhibit your learning.. This really shouldn't be that complicated a matter. |
Man Given New Face, Nose Teeth And Jaw After 15 Years Living As A Recluse Medical science is just amazing! https://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2012/3/28/1332925755604/Richard-Norris-before-and-006.jpg http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2012/mar/28/face-transplant-richard-lee-norris?newsfeed=true |
If you want to use vim, just find, download and install vim for windows. But it probably isn't the most efficient or pleasant way to write and edit ruby code. I like it for certain tasks, but this isn't one of them. |

chino11's identity revealed? As soon as Saharareporters started posing questions to some of the journalists who went on the sponsored trip to Awka, Valentine Obienyem, who handles the governor’s propaganda, began to post anti-Saharareporters’ messages on numerous listservs on the Internet. In one of these preemptive attacks, the state government’s propaganda machinery alleged that former Governor Bola Tinubu of Lagos State had asked Saharareporters and its founder to attack Governor Obi. The statement went further: “Tinubu told Sowore that the fight had started from Anambra and charged him to use his outfit to paint Gov. Obi bad. In the briefing, Tinubu told Sowore to attack anything that comes out from Anambra State.” |
GEJ was not elected as president twice. Only once. So he can run again in 2015. In addition to the unambigious language that Beaf quoted, notice that much of the Nigerian constitution and system of gov't was pretty much copied from the American one..where you can also serve more than 8 years if some of those year were due to your predecessor dying in office. If it goes to court, GEJ will win. Anyway, don't be too surprised if he runs again. We Africans very rarely keep promises made about giving up power ![]() |
I usually use Gedit or Redcar for editing my Ruby code. I used Aptana Radrails a few years ago on windows. It is pretty decent. |
It is already 2012. There is no way Nigeria will even be among the top 50 most industrialized nations by 2020, given that it doesn't even have electricity. Also, Korean/Taiwanese/Singaporean and now Chinese miracle didn't happen from mouth alone... Action speaks louder than words. |

Btw why are we assuming that the parents would even want to live with us? |
The thing is, nowadays, how many people in that age group are depending on their kids to take care of them? My parents are not. They have their own money and to my knowledge well-funded retirement plan independent of what I do. Even my dad's father wasn't really dependent on his kids. Most people have pensions, property, things like that, no? |
yeah maybe the best thing is your parents living nearby, not in the same house. |
