How do you guys know when your significant other is about to break up with you? And if you are in a situation where you know it is coming sooner or later, what do you do about it? (thread doesn't have much to do with me [I hope], but just curious) |
@ ekt bear i grew up stark poor in nigeria, so how exactly am i an ajebutter.
You should be able to tell that I was only kidding ![]() Do you know what they call concoction? What is that? |
^-- It isn't the norm elsewhere in Africa, is it? Unlikely to be a poverty-related thing. Perhaps the "big man" culture of Nigeria. It is funny, as a kid growing up, I went to a church where the pastor was very poor and lived in a trailer behind the church. He took the bare minimum necessary to sustain himself and his wife; the rest was spent on ministry, helping the poor in the community, etc. So that was how I thought a pastor should be. Very humble and focused primarily on the Bible. It was only when I grew older (around age 11-12) and started attending Nigerian churches and seeing a money-hungry attitude that I realized that not all pastors and churches have the same approach. |

Blackrock is pretty sweet. Man I hope I get something of that caliber when I finish. Though I guess breaking into the industry period is a nice accomplishment. |
@SEFAGO: I don't think he initially meant it to troll. He is a good guy overall, he just editorialized. And others took it in a certain direction. |
Cassava can be dangerous and result in cyanide poisoning if not prepared properly. Signs of cyanide poisoning include headache, dizziness, agitation, confusion, coma, and convulsions. People in developing countries have died from improperly prepared cassava. Chronic poisoning can occur from cassava, especially in regions where it is a main food staple. The effects of chronic poisoning are paralysis of the legs, trouble walking, and poor vision and hearing. Regions where cassava is a main food staple are also susceptible to malnutrition due to its low protein content.http://www.mesotheliomasymptoms.com/food/cassava So this is the crop that gives Do you think we'd be so dumb as to feed on poison? ![]() |
