True........the offers disappeared because they were rejected by the system. The sellers would have to replace at today's price band or wait till price band accommodates their exit price.

Let's hope so. Someone who really wants to sell will adjust his/her asking price.

For those searching for Institutional investor holdings and market activities. Kindly follow the link below to view that of FBNH. Click on "movers" to see which institutional investor has bought or sold the stock in the last few months.

I actually used FBNH as an example, you can change the ticker to get information on other listed stocks.

Actually,FBNH has witnessed a massive sell down in the past few months.

There's an inferno on the mountain,
FBNH now 4.8
net offer of about 72m
Egwu ndi o kara obi (not a dance for the faint-hearted)

Something is obviously wrong with FBNH. The huge volumes on offer in the past few days is definitely saying something... Perhaps some people are trying to drag the price down in order to mop up later or they know something we don't.

Someone posted a website link some time ago where one can check which institutions are selling or buying a particular stock.

@All, anyone who has that link should please post it here. Thanks.

I would have liked to send them to the registrars directly but there is a space for your stockbroker stamp in the e-dividend/bonuse mandate forms...hence, the reason I go through my stockbroker-investment one. Can the registrar accept the e-dividend form without the stockbroker stamp/endorsement?

You can send the forms directly to the Registrars. It is not mandatory that your stockbrokers must sign the e-dividend forms. Just make sure you have your bank's stamp and signature on the forms before you send them to the Registrars (ensure you use a registered post).

Please APR said my stockbroker should send CSCS purchase transfer form...please what is that
Am far away Lagos state

If you purchased the shares via secondary market, you must ask your stockbrokers to process a share transfer form for each stock purchased. You will have to sign a portion of the form and send it back to your broker for processing. Ask your broker to email you the form and tell you exactly where to sign. Since you must process a share transfer form (via your broker) for each of these stocks, I would advise you to also process your e-dividend forms via your broker to make it easier for you. This means you will have to send both the e-dividend and share transfer forms to your broker. Alternatively, and to be on a safer side, send all e-dividend and share transfer forms to your broker to process for you, and also send another set of e-dividend forms directly to each of the Registrars. This way, the e-dividend forms will most likely get to the Registrars. In Naija, it is possible for you to send a post by registered mail and it will not get to its destination and will not be returned to you as undelivered (it has happened to me severally). This could explain why the registrars are yet to receive the e-dividend forms sent by your broker and it is also the reason I am advising you send forms to both the Registrars and your broker.

Please I don't know which banks that have commenced the e-DMMS portal system?
... My STANBIC bank is yet to commence it.

I am not sure of any bank that has commenced this. Don't waste your time waiting for a bank that may never adopt this e-DMMS system. Don't forget this is Naija. Banks hardly take CBN's warning serious on important issues let alone one e-DMMS portal thing.

Hello good people of the nairaland investment dynasty. I bought Transcorp many years ago during dat their IPO thingy.

Thing is I dont have any record of my purchase, how do I go about getting this record. Form I bought the IPO with is nowhere to be found.

Contact the registrars for Trancorp and explain everything to them. They should be able to help you.

All my e-dividend and e-bonuses mandate forms are yet to get to my registrars....
Documents I sent to my registrars via my stockbroker are yet to get to them after 2 months...
All my registrars: First registrar, Africa Prudential registrar ,flourmills registrar and cardinal stone registrars are yet to get my e.mandate forms....
My account officer is not helping matter at all...He keeps telling me that he has sent the documents and the registrars are saying they are yet to receive the mandate forms from CSCS , that my broker should send an acknowledged copy of submitting it to CSCS office, which my account officer and customer care are not helping matter...

I had this same problem some time ago. What I did was to resend a new set of e-dividend forms to my broker as all the registrars confirmed they did not receive the e-dividend forms sent by my broker. If you're based in naija just fill a new set of e-dividend forms and take them to your bank for endorsement. If your bank has commenced the implementation of e-DMMS, you can register through the bank, otherwise send a new set of forms to your brokers or directly to the registrars.

SIRs in the house if there is a sudden bull for UBA like there was in August at what price will you be selling will it be the same 4.50?
My Ogas your advice is needed urgently

myjoy, mercilicious, Elai147, chibuking81 and gbola4rel and manonamission

Different strokes for different folks. As far as I’m concerned, it will depend on what the chart is telling you at that particular period. However, you bet a lot of people will sell @4.50 since there was a previous resistance around that price. If the bull is strong enough you could sell above N5. If you're a short term investor I advise you to study Technical Analysis very well so that you can know when to buy and when to sell instead of guessing and selling because others are selling.

unity bank should apologize to their share holder for share reconstruction. They would have maintain their 50 kobo level, now they are going back to it.

It was a smart move to reduce the number of outstanding shares. They will do it again if they get another chance.

FBNH and Access finally trading at same price. Overtaking mode activated for Access. Next to overtake will be UBA. There is no food for lazy man/elephant.

Unity bank was 50kobo now heading to 8kobo, a loss of 84% in 7 months. In the same period Oando has lost 68% of share value (it is still heading to a loss of 80% by Jan as long as oil price stays same or worsens). Cadbury < 50% of share value and FMN 43%. With FMN’s rights issue coming I cannot help but feel the share price will eventually go the way of Unity Bank and Oando. That is after ithe rights issue FMN will still go much lower - is N10 too low?

I am personally waiting at that bus stop.

Morgan again? Is your CSCS account credited and it's not reflecting in your broking account? Morgan is not responsible for dividend and bonus administration. Chai, may God help Morgan. Check with the registrars.

It happens all the time. Recently my CSCS account was credited with FO bonus but my Morgan account wasn't. I called to notify Morgan and they updated my account within 48 hours. The same goes for Meristem.

The said the #400 is for both e-dividend and e-bonus even though they have refuse to credit their customer account with FBNH bonus for the reason best known to them.

Na so all these brokers dey do including Meristem. That's why it's necessary to register for CSCS online so that you'll know when your bonuses are credited and then you can ask your broker to update your trading account.

CBN Says No Bank Is Distressed...
http://www.leadership.ng/news/477681/cbn-says-no-bank-distressed

He he he... This is really interesting. Who we go believe na? Deceptive CBN or the rumours? This reminds me of the Great Oceanic Bank, and bank PHB: I am sure the CBN did not warn investors or advise them to run for their lives. Those expecting CBN to raise a red flag may be on a long thing. The only advice I have for long term investors is to restrict their exposure to this sector to only fundamentally sound stocks. It is okay to trade with them but we should not be over-exposed (long term) to this sector or any particular sector in the NSE.

Another interesting part:
He concluded that regardless, the banking sector would need an "AMCON 2" referring to the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria, a body set to buy bad debts from Nigerian banks. The first AMCON, our source insisted, also needs a bailout.

Dem no dey tell blind man say market don close.

Caveat: This is a Tumbutumbu analysis. Follow it at your own peril grin

Does it mean those of us that are yet to receive the dividend will be made to forfeit it or what

Bcoz I'm planning to do both my BVN and run around for all my past OANDO dividends come Jan 2016.

Nothing wey no fit happen for NSE. A stock declares dividend and market reacts positively to the news. Shareholders meet at AGM and say it is not good for the health of the company and at such the declared dividend should be cancelled- SEC does nothing about it. It has happened before.
