thierry henry was also already 22 when he joined the premier league. henry & shearer had already scored 23 league goals each in before they started scoring in the premier league.

When season starts in August, everyone is filled with energy, so it's hard to score. If you start scoring early, it could mean you trained harder in the preseason and you will soon tire.

But the striker coming at Christmas will be using his fresh energy against tiring defenders.

Van Gaal says injuries last season were caused by his tough training.

Giroud came in the second half of the season when everyone was already tired. Just like Sturridge did the season before. He became fit in December 2013, by January 2014 he was scoring like Ronaldo and Messi until he injured again.

Aguero was far better than Costa last season. Look at his Assists.

someone who played 90 mins should rate higher than another who played 23 minutes if they contribute the same positive action in a game.

before shaw was taken off, he was by far our best player. he had 100% pass completion, united kept a clean sheet while he was on the pitch. he made one tackle & his general play was positive. how won't he have more points than darmian who conceded 2 goals on the pitch or mata/martial who had no goal scoring contribution in the game?

sometimes i think you deliberately leave your common sense at home before coming to this board to post. had we not lost against PSV, we might have actually won the game cos he was the only one trying to make things happen for us that first half. elampawa, when are you going for your memory test?

if player A & player B contribute the same thing while A played more minutes than B then A will have the most points. stop lying to us. show us a situation where a first half substitute that scored a goal had more points than his teammate that also scored a goal but completed the whole game.

Assist a goal about 0.5
Have an error leading to a goal 0.5-1.0 negative.

Dispossessed = negative.

I think Elf n UniqueGem were the first to welcome his acquisition to the club, then I n others( n some Chelsea fans) who had seen him play were of the opinion that he will be a hit, hell I even did a comparison with him n Berainho after one Chelsea fan asked if he was even on par with Berainho. Our only problem was that his price tag was huge for a teenager.
