You probably think it's better to live in overcrowded Ajegunle than in Isolated Banana Island

Banana Island is crowd compared to supporting Bayern Munich from Nigeria. How many co-fans do you meet in a year?

How can one open eye and be a Manchester United fan? Is it that the person is destined to suffer and wail for eternity?

But reason it well. Are you not suffering isolation? Be sincere? It is better to live on earth where there billions of people suffering than to be living alone in Planet Gold XYZ where one can die of isolation. Even if that were to be a good comparison

You can't convince me our players can fit into Ragnick's 4-2-2-2 without a preseason at least. Some players also need to be binned permanently for this to work.

4-2-2-2 is a formation that relies on forwards with precise laser-guided passing (and ball control) in the final third as the amount of space available is limited.

Leipzig under Rangnick did that. It's easier when you have ballers with appreciation of space like Emil Forsberg.

Can four minutes video summarise his pattern of play for a man with 30 years of coaching career? In the video, he seems to like attacking with too many men high up the field. Just like vs Newcastle when we were being punished with counter attacks

The brain and the body must be at same speed. Right now the body is forced to act faster than the brain. It will take some time, even some pains before they can start making good decisions while on speed

The high number of possession lost was a result of trying to play with speed, intensity, and aggressively without drilling.

I noticed this during the game. So many "nearly" balls to Ronaldo but the execution was poor. It is not that they are blind but most of them lack the ability to make those eye of the needle passes that someone like KDB or Phil Foden would make easily, so it is either they try it and fail (like we saw in the video) OR they see it and decide not to pass because they lack the confidence to try it (like we also saw in the video).

With regards to the general play, no amount of formation tweaking or tactical masterclass can overcome a useless midfield. Once people accept this much of the uproar will settle. The manager does not seem to understand the abilities and limitations of the players but many of the players are not helping themselves.

And our midfield players were in contention for MOTM under Carrick

Vs Norwich.
....

Rangnick has revealed that he ordered his players to increase the speed of the game and their pressing but their performance after the interval showed the players didn’t thoroughly follow the German tactician’s instructions.

“From the start we controlled the game but didn’t always have the best possible solutions,” Ralf Rangnick told BBC.

“Defensively we did well, tactically in the first half we didn’t allow them to have too many shots or chances.

“At half-time I told the boys we needed to increase the speed and intensity of the game. The second half was a little bit better but at the end we were lucky to have a clean sheet and there were two or three clean sheets [saves] by David de Gea

This new manager taught Tuchel, Klopp and Nagelsmann how to manage teams.

He’s The Godfather of the modern German managers. Go and do your research.

A voyage company which usually had its large ship finding it difficult to navigate turbulent waters in the sea, decided to sack the team of their captains and hire a new captain. As there was a dearth of highly skilled captains in the land, the hiring process became cumbersome. To make the situation difficult, the rival voltage companies have captains who easily navigate through the most turbulent waters and arrive successfully and timely in every trip. So, the board of the voyage company looking to hire a new captain decided to asked about the background of the skilled rival captains to see what made them successful. The board members discovered that two of the rival captains had been taught by Archaicmedis. Instead of doing their own thing that fits their company, the board members went to get Archaicmedis.

With the hiring of Archaicmedis, there was a breath of fresh air and wide celebration across the land. But a few observers had pointed that despite Archaicmedis years of experience in the profession, he has only been able to land his ship first only once in 30 years of his career. Meaning he has problem navigating troubling waters. Notably among the obervers is the writer of this article who compared Archaicmedis self-described navigating skills with that of a former captain who was unsuccessful at same company. This oberver, noted that they both have similar navigating style, so doubted the positive impact being expected of the new captain. The fact that a student became an Elon Musk, doesn't mean that the Professor that taught him in the university can be as innovative as Elon Musk. This particular observer was shouted down and called a doomsday observer. His words were twisted so that his innocent worry could be seen as an attack on the new captain.

The new captain took charge of the company. He is running into trouble in the beginning of his trip. The first small turbulent waters are his first test. Prof Archaicmedis is seen bringing our a board and a chalk while facing the first small storms. ''Prof, what are you doing?'' Even your predecessors used computers, and we heard the rival captains have more sophisticated technology to read the storm and how to overcome them with decoding and coding modern skills''. Prof keeps looking at his board and drawing lines while brining out notes from 1979 for strategies.

Everyone is concern, both those in support and the supposed critics because the big storms are ahead. Can this Prof Archaicmedis be trusted?

Newcastle is the new wife of every team in the league, they have concede more goals than any team in the league (42, that's 20th position), placed 19th position after 19 games with 11 points, Newcastle average total shots on target is put @ 3.5 while having 8 shots on target against man u (their highest shots on target so far this season) that's worrisome! shocked
If they were clinical in front of goal, they would have run away with 3 points.

How can this team face ATM?

The second-half tactics was funny. I wonder if he could not see what was happening. His full-backs are trying to join the attack, leaving only the two central defenders and McTominay in our own third. The middle was left unattended to as about six or seven of our players were in the final third mostly. It got worse towards the end of the game when our boys were tired of running, our forward players, about 5 at once were in the same line with Newcaster defenders. No one dropping to build as they were already exhausted from too much running. Meanwhile, Newcastle just capitalized on the huge space in the midfield to start their counterattack. This was what they did throughout the second half. We left so much space that we made them look like a big European side when they came at us.

When I said this new coach description of his tactics shows that he plays like Moyes and that I didn't think we got a good coach fitting Manchester United, did that not imply that Moyes was not okay for us? This Lekkie073 and Illimitable were the ones who twisted my words. I said it clearly that this man appears to play like Moyes from his own description of his tactics. I can go dig up my posts.

I thought I'll see nice flowing football under this manager but he's looking more like a theorist. Just like Ole, they say one thing, but we see the opposite every match day. He should just stop talking, and get his players to play football.

What he is trying to do is to make the the players to play faster, quick interchange of passes, run more, put more men in the opposition half while hoping to keep possession there. But right now, the players are unable to think as fast as they run/ move the ball. Hence lots of mistakes.

He seems not to read the game and react. He needed one more permanent body to form a layer of protection with McTominay in front of the defence, but he did not respond to the threat. We were lucky that we were not up against a team that can punish. Despite that, DDG saved us from shame

If they need to bring in new players, they should just do that early January. At this rate, there won't be much people looking forward to Manchester united matches

I have not been looking forward to our matches right from the very first few days this man was hired. After listening to him talk about his own style of play, I saw him as talking of same pattern as David Moyes. Currently he does not only talk of it, he plays like Moyes. But he set up his team worse than Moyes. We had 3 or 4 players in defence/midfield area trying to find the rest 6 or 7 all in the final third. So when we lose the ball trying to do that, we are outnumbered in our own third.

Let him try this vs Man City.

New team, give him time.

I am sure if he was destroying the league you would have said it's because it's the French Ligue 1 but now, the argument has changed...

By the end of the season, we will compare stats which it self does not tell the whole story.

But Ronaldo did not need time to adjust to Spain, to Italy and to England again.

Secondly, he should be destroying French league because it is somewhat a weal league. But now, for the first time in his life, he has to work for himself, and not 10 team mates working for him. Right now, what we will see of Messi going forward is occasionally flashes until he goes to play in New York. FIFA sensed this and quickly rally men around the world for a 7th Ballon D'or so that Ronaldo does not catch him.

The only way Messi smells a Ballon D'or again is if Argentina wins a world cup

Let's get one thing clear, the best player award is not based on goal scored alone. The overall contribution of a player is evaluated.

If we dig deep, they're a couple of seasons where Messi scored more but didn't win the best player award.

In 2013, Ronaldo was awarded the best player award courtesy of his performance in the play off against Sweden which earned Portugal a place in the world cup but you guys will never talk about it. That season, Bayern won the treble with Ribery and Robben at the peak of their power, was it fair that Ronaldo won the award?

Bernardo Silva is probably City's best player at the moment but the stats won tell you that. Messi away from his goals and assist is awesome...No player in world football is given as much attention as Messi on the pitch yet he still manages to do so much. Put 2-3 players on Ronaldo, Mbappe, Neymar and co and see if they'll be up to any good.

I really don't have time for a detailed argument. But Messi going from Barca to PSG has enabled us to see that he has been scamming us. Someone who used to have the best dribbling stats is now the 8th best dribbler in PSG. Neymar is making a successful dribbling every 21 minutes, Mpabbe is every 26 minutes while Messi is at distant 8th making a successful dribbling every 54 minutes. Also, his success rate is woeful at 50%.

People have been saying, leave Barca let's see. Leave Laliga let's see. Now we don see wetin we want check. Last season in Barca he was still the best dribbler with a successful dribble every 19 minutes

Modric won it based on his exploit with Madrid and majorly for his exploit with Croatia at the world cup.

You guys place premium on international competition, I am surprised that you of all people is alleging that Lewy was cheated.

The French Ligue 1 is not trash, Neymar and Mbappe are amongst the top 5-6 players in the world, you can't dismiss them like they're some average footballers...

Ronaldo was easily the best. Big people in football are always afraid he would be arrogant if he allowed to get ahead of Messi. So they frustrate his chances early enough to deny him the opportunity of getting ahead of Messi.

Both Ronaldo and Modric played in same team that won the UCL for the 3rd time. If not for Ronaldo's goals in the knockout, expecially against Juventus, Madrid would have easily be eliminated. Madrid needed 3 goals to get past Juventus, if I remember well, Ronaldo scored them all.

Put the Modric-Ronaldo case of 2018 against Sneidjer-Messi case of 2010 and see bias. Wesley Sneidjer won the Champions league beating Barca on the way to success. He did great in world cup 2010 while Messi failed to score even a single goal and got dumped out from group stage.

Story!

Shey Mou and LVG won trophies for Utd, what did your DNA guy achieve as a manager at Utd? You still don’t get it, yes, we may need managers with few years of experience or relatively young managers, we must however do away with your DNA people.

The new guy is an interim, and we will probably get a young manager in the summer, how about that?

DNA people are useless, abeg!

Those ones were playing with SAF leftovers experienced players. It was taking the easy way out. Play Fellaini, Valencia, Young, Smalling and Jones just to get a quick fix. But on the long term we were ruined.

The team needed a reset.
