Demons are fallen angels but have different ranks and functions, even lucfer is a demon and a principality hence he is called the prince of this world.

John 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

They can be very stupid at times. The lie effortlessly. They are arrogant and possessive. They can also be very stubborn! They latch on their host through the instructor a legal ground. They operate mostly covertly! In fact, once they are exposed, it is not too difficult to drive them out in JESUS name.

The Prince of Persia was NOT a demon but a principality (a fallen angel in charge of regions, nations ) on the earth. They usually control governments and systems/character of nations.

Fallen Angels are different from demons (aka unclean spirits).

Fallen Angels are the angels that fell with satan.
Demons are spirits of human/falleñ angel hybrids (at the time of Noah)

Fallen angels do NOT crave to inhabit a physical body but demons find their expression only by inhabiting living things.

Demons exhibit every weakness in humans. Many are fearful, most are boastful and stubborn. Knowledge wise, demons are EXTREMELY limited (unlike angels).
Fallen angels may control hordes of demons but they rarely interact directly with humans.

Demons aka Unclean spirits are vastly inferior to the least of the fallen angels
