A Port Harcourt based music producer shared on his twitter handle the most SIMPish move he had ever taken

Wow! I love this man. Thanks. You just explained the concept of responsibility and authority in a way I've never know. Most times, when I initiate dates with ladies I still give them the privilege of choosing where she'd like to go. If I realize it's a place I can't afford, I simply change the location. But if its a place I know I won't spend more, I tell her it's fine. But from henceforth, the responsibility, authority and privilege will be mine. Thanks boss. God bless you real good pansophist: |
I was seated, facing my business when I saw your DM that you'd love to see me after a long time of just chatting online. I examined my schedule closely and dished you a much more convenient time and day for me. You accepted. You agreed. You even chose the venue, (the newly established) Sammies along Agip Road. “It's fine by me,” I said. On the said date, a little “something” came up at my workplace which would interfere with our “date,” but because I didn't want to disappoint you and not keep to my word, I showed up against all odds. We got to the venue, and I quite liked what I saw. You weren't looking bad after all; your dress sense was simply elegant and you looked gorgeous. You ordered for a plate of Fried Rice and Turkey with Chivita, while I just ordered for chicken pie and a bottle of Fanta, because I had already gulped in a plate of Beans and nibbles bread that morning. 1hr:40mins later we were done! We had a fantastic time getting to know ourselves. It was an interesting conversation as well and we really looked forward to seeing again. We both walked up to the cashier to settle the bills. I asked for the bill details and I was told mine amounted to ₦950, while yours was ₦3,650, bringing it to a total of ₦4,600. You stood unmoved, clinging tightly to your bag as if you had no intentions of making any financial move. I reached for my pocket and brought out my debit card while you kept staring at me sheepishly. I handed my card over to the cashier, and you moved your eyes swiftly away from me to the TV with full concentration. “I'm paying for mine, ₦950,” I told the cashier. “What about the other one?” the cashier asked. “She will pay,” I said pointing to you like a wizard. “Oh sorry,” you said with hidden anger yet so obvious, as you reached for your bag, grabbed your card and handed over to the cashier. We stepped out of the restaurant with some attitude you began showing to me. You responded to my questions with mono-syllabic answers and barely looked at my face. I wasn't bothered a bit, because at some point in my life, I had read the book titled, “The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A F*ck.” by Mark Manson. We bade each other farewell and parted ways. While in a bolt ride heading home, I received a message from you, “Benny, you are very stingy!.” I couldn't help but laugh as I archived your chats on WhatsApp and Messenger. Now listen up, Whoever's idea it was to go out on a date should pay the bill. You decided to see me, not the other way round. I cannot remember initiating a date and allowing the other party be concerned with the bill. I'd cover it all up, even if you insist for a split. You cannot pull me out of my house to see you and expect I cover every expenses when I'm not Kwame. Because I was very polite, I decided to settle mine and leave yours for you and your ancestors dear. Don't invite someone to a burden and expect them to carry the same burden. That's Witchcraft. |
There is palpable tension in the camp of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential and vice presidential candidates, Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Ibrahim Shettima respectively, as evidence shows that Shettima is not qualified to contest the election. This was deduced from two documents submitted by Senator Shettima to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Certified True Copies (CTC) of which were obtained by Mr. Peter Gregory Obi and his party, the Labour Party (LP). The first document dated July 14, 2022, showed one Ibrahim Kabir Masari, who was originally presented as the running mate to Tinubu, withdrawing his candidacy for Shettima. The document was, however, received and stamped by INEC on July 15, 2022. The second document dated July 15, 2022, showed Shettima, who was originally the candidate of Borno Central senatorial District, withdrawing his candidacy for o.ne Lawan Kaka Shehu. The document was also received and stamped by INEC on July 15, 2022. It could be recalled that Labour Party/Peter Obi had petitioned the Presidential Election Petition Court to disqualify Shettima as he was, at the time of the election, not qualified to contest the election. The Petitioners averred that on the 14th of July 2022, Shettima, contrary to the provisions of the Electoral Act 2022, whilst still being a Senatorial candidate for Borno Central Constituency, knowingly allowed himself to be nominated as the Vice Presidential Candidate to Tinubu on the platform of APC and became the new candidate for the office of the Vice President on that date (14 July 2022). The Petitioners relied on Form EC11A signed by the Shettima and INEC officials on that same 14th of July 2022. Read what Peter Obi urged election Tribunal to do and why Labour Party/Peter Obi contended: “The 1st Respondent was a candidate nominated by the 4th Respondent for the office of Senate in the Borno Central Senatorial Constituency until 15 July 2022 when he signed the Independent National Electoral Commission Senatorial Election Notice of Withdrawal of Candidate purporting to withdraw from the contest called Form EC11C. The Petitioners hereby plead and shall at the trial rely on: (i) Affidavit and Personal Particulars (Form EC9) submitted by the 3rd Respondent for Borno Central Senatorial Constituency sworn to on 14 June 2022 and received by the 1st Respondent on 17 June 2022. (ii) Affidavit in support or Personal Particulars (Form EC9) submitted by the 3rd Respondent for the office of the Vice Presidential Candidate for the Constituency of Nigeria (the Federal Republic of Nigeria) received by the Is1 Respondent on 15 July 2022. (iii) Notice of withdrawal of Candidate (pursuant to section 33 of the Electoral Act, 2022), Form EC11A dated 14 July 2022 signed by the 3rd Respondent as the New Candidate (Vice Presidential) of the All-Progressives Congress and also containing the passport picture of the 3rd Respondent as New Candidate. (iv) Notice of Withdrawal of Candidate (Pursuant to Section 33 of the Electoral Act, 2022), Form EC11C dated 15 July 2022 signed by the 3rd Respondent as the withdrawing candidate of the All-Progressives Congress for Borno Central Senatorial Constituency and also containing the passport picture of the 3rd Respondent. “As at the time the 3rd Respondent purportedly became a Vice Presidential Candidate, he was still the nominated Senatorial candidate of the 4th Respondent for the Senatorial election for the Borno Central Senatorial Constituency. “The Petitioners shall contend at the trial that the purported sponsorship of the 2nd and 3rd Respondents by the 4th Respondent was rendered invalid by reason of the 3rd Respondent knowingly allowing himself to be nominated as the Vice-Presidential Candidate whilst he was still a Senat01ial Candidate for the Borno Central Constituency. “The Petitioners shall further contend that for this reason, the votes purportedly recorded for the 2nd Respondent at the contested Presidential election were/are wasted votes and ought to be disregarded.’ No longer APC’s Senatorial candidate for the Borno Central Senatorial election. According to him, the Notice of withdrawal signed by Shettima on July 6, 2022, was conveyed by officials on the July 15, 2022, to INEC to enable APC present him to INEC as its Vice Presidential candidate. He further claimed that the date on the Notice of withdrawal is not the date Shettima withdrew from contesting as a senatorial candidate for the Borno Central Senatorial Election. Tinubu to Tribunal: Shettima eminently qualified to contest presidential election Tinubu’s proposal is, however, considered ridiculous because APC and INEC differed in their positions. APC said that Shettima was nominated for VP on the 14th of July though INEC did not receive his withdrawal notice immediately. Therefore, they will stick to his withdrawal date as the day he wrote the letter and not the day received and stamped by INEC on July 15, 2022. INEC, on the other hand, said that Shettima wrote the letter of withdrawal on July 6th, but that it did not receive the letter until July 13th, hence, concluded that Shettima withdrew on the 6th. Reacting to the various positions of APC and INEC, a News Band analyst, who spoke on condition of anonymity opined: “What INEC is saying is that Shettima wrote a letter of withdrawal on July 6th, but the letter didn’t get to INEC until July 13th of July, therefore, Shettima withdrew on the 6th! Does that sound logical? “APC is saying that, Shettima was nominated for VP on the 14th of July although INEC hadn’t received his withdrawal notice yet, therefore, they will stick to his withdrawal date as the day he wrote the letter and not the day INEC received it! “APC said the letter was dated July 6th but delivered to INEC on July 15th. INEC said the letter was dated July 6th but was received on the 13th. “Anyone can write a notice of withdrawal to INEC but leave it at home for as long as they want, but until the letter is in their hands and stamped as received, INEC can’t say they received it earlier or attempt to backdate that withdrawal. “The most important thing is both of them should submit their contradictory evidences in court, that’s when they’ll know that the day a letter was received is the day that counts not the days it took it to arrive Abuja from Borno.”

His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State today met with leaders of Epie Kingdom and Arewa community in the State to resolve the killing at Kpansia, in Yenagoa Local Government Area. Gov. Diri who described the incident as unfortunate appealed for calm and restoration of peace in the State capital. He urged the traditional rulers in Epie kingdom and the Arewa leadership to avoid reprisal attacks. To further ensure peace within this period, the governor has banned commercial tricycle operation within Yenagoa and its environs from 7pm to 6am. He ordered the arrest and prosecution of any keke operators found with arms. The Labour Party governorship candidate in Bayelsa State, Mr Udengs Eradiri, has condemned the killing of a youth, identified as ThankGod Douglas, by a commercial tricyclist in Yenizue-Gene area of the Yenagoa environs on Wednesday over N50. The commercial tricyclist had stabbed Douglas to death over a disagreement about a N50 change. He also decried the jungle justice meted out to the unidentified tricycle operator by an angry mob that lynched him to death, sparking off pandemonium in the state capital. ADVERTISEMENT Udengs in a statement on Thursday said the acts of violence amounted to a careless waste of precious lives and called on security agencies, particularly the police to avert a possible breakdown of law and order He also appealed to the youths, especially the people of Epie-Atissa, whose son was killed in the incident, to remain calm and avoid the temptation of taking laws into their own hands. The former President of the Ijaw Youth Council urged the people not to capitalise on the incident to engage in ethnic profiling of their neighbours. ADVERTISEMENT According to him, the Ijaw, Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo among others have lived peacefully together as brothers and sisters and the irresponsible act of one person should not be used to judge others from his ethnic group. The LP governorship standard bearer said, “The life of everybody in this state matters and no act of provocation should lead to the taking of any life. The police must investigate the incident and ensure justice and peace. “May we avoid the temptation of capitalising on the incident to engage in ethnic profiling of our neighbours. ADVERTISEMENT “As Ijaw, we have continued to live peacefully with Hausa, Igbo, and Yoruba among others and we consider them as our brothers and sisters. “We can only isolate criminal elements among us without using their acts to define their ethnic backgrounds. “This is where we call on security agencies to diligently do their work to calm frayed nerves. We sympathise with the bereaved family and the entire people of the state.”

Another Lesson Learnt. Meanwhile, historical sports followers are saying Achraf Hakimi learned from Djibril Cisse . Ex wife of Djibril Cissé asked for a divorce from the player, exactly one year before the end of his career in 2014. Jude Littler expected a juicy and golden compensation of more than half of all the fortune Djibril had, since they had 3 children together. The court discovered that the famous player had no fortune! All his bank accounts, his multiple luxurious houses, his cars, and his investments were registered in the names of his parents and his blood brothers and therefore did not belong to him, legally speaking. Jude Littler obtained practically nothing from the divorce she initiated. She is currently married to N'golo Kante of Chelsea whom she is 16 years older than.

ACHRAF HAKIMI’S MATTER I have seen countless reports from blogs and individuals on social media about the issue of PSG’s defender, Achraf Hakimi and his wife who have become separated. The wife is about to seek divorce. The viral report is to the effect that the wife filed divorce and has asked that half of the assets of Hakimi be given to her. The report went further to say the court found out that Hakimi has no money or asset to his name. He has placed all his money and assets in his mother’s name. Trust Nigerians, especially men. They have been singing Hakimi’s praises and called the wife, mother of his two children, a gold digger. Well, let me burst some bubbles. The asset sharing story is completely FALSE. The wife has not even filed a divorce in court yet. WHAT DO WE KNOW? 1) Hakimi met his wife in 2018 while he was earning €84,000 per month as a Real Madrid loanee in Borussia Dortmund. 2) Today, Hakimi earns more than €1 million per month playing for PSG so the gold digging accusations do not sit right. 3) Hakimi has a mother who became popular at the last World Cup when Hakimi went to the stands after a game to kiss her on the forehead. 4) Hakimi has assets and does not appear to hide them or keep them with his mother. 5) Hakimi owns a company known as Sashi Ha Investment SL with a listed capital of €3 million. He recently bought a 2 storey rundown building in Getafe, Spain. Only his name is listed on the company’s papers as HAKIMI MOUH ACHRAF. 6) Hakimi has been officially charged with rape of a woman, hence the decision of his wife to leave the marriage. ************************************ Now let us assume that Hakimi has no money or asset in his name. Does it mean the wife’s mission to get half of his assets, if true, will be defeated? The answer is NO! At the end of this week, Hakimi will receive a salary of €280,000 from PSG as he does every week. Hakimi has image rights and sponsorship deals which are personal to him, the proceeds of which he cannot hide away. So, if he has been “donating” his money and properties to his beloved mother, now that the divorce is about to commence, his future earnings goes into the pot. Through process of interrogatories and discoveries, the court will find out every hidden asset. It’s even a crime to hide assets or keep properties through a proxy for the purpose of evading obligations. I’m not saying a court will grant the wife her wish, if eventually she asks for half or a substantial part of his assets. However, if she did not contribute to why a divorce is an option, European courts are sticklers for the welfare of a wife. Usually, wives cash out big time. Remember the case of Emmanuel Eboue?

I'm a young man of 26. Graduated back in 2019. I'm currently working as a health professional and in the show biz. I've gone through dark times, broke times and cashless times. I've hustled and worked my way up to a comfortable level. I'm not there yet, but for my age, I can afford whatever I want. It's been like this since 2021. I've come across different girls (I can't count actually) who want me and want to settle down with me. Some want us to date, others really want us to get married. They're all beautiful ladies, with premium features. But I've turned down all of them. Why? Many of them are broke. Others have got nothing doing. Just studying or aspiring students. I don't want a lady who will remind me of my broke days. I don't want a broke lady. I've gone past that stage and don't want to go back there. Do y'all think I'm doing the right thing to stay single because of that? |
