Just 5 days ago (28th Dec.), a random friend made a post on Facebook; “Never argue with anyone holding a gun.” In agreement, I commented in the affirmative; “You're very right. The gun controls the handler, better to walk away than to shorten your life. It's not worth it!” You agree too, right? OK come with me. Yesterday being new year's day, I and my mum were on the road traveling to Bayelsa to join in the family thanksgiving. Just at the toll gate which marks entry into Yenagoa, our vehicle was pulled over by few security operatives who all held guns. One of them moved over to the car, took a close look at everyone and specifically asked me to step down with my bag. They asked to open the bag for a search. I consented but first made them show me their bare palms which they did. They began searching, carelessly took out everything in by bag and even went as far as searching all the pockets in my clothes. At that point, I lost patience and began attacking them verbally but they paid deaf ears to me. When I lost it was when one said, “Just dey pray say make I no see anything for this bag because you go enter.” “Do I look like a criminal to you? The real criminals are in Tombia, Azikoro, Okaka and Swali terrorizing us everyday. Are you not ashamed of yourselves? Cowards!” I replied angrily. At that point, all my belongings were laid bare on their table. A scene was already created with my raging voice and few passengers of the vehicle including the driver who came down and began holding me back. I remembered I had my Lab ID card on me. I pulled it out, shoved it on their faces and said, “Look, I'm a health worker. If I record this and show it to my boss, you're in big trouble.” At that point, they seized searching. The main officer who was championing the search left my bag and went back (rather shamefully) to the road. The second one went sober immediately and began apologizing, “If you had showed him your ID since, he wouldn't have searched. Sorry my young man.” This officer and the driver single handedly packed back my items into my bag while I was on the other end still giving the other officer some doses of verbal vawulence. At the end, I got into the car and we drove off. Was anchoring this wedding one time and it was time to cut the wedding cake. Personally, as an MC, I just go straight with the cake cutting and do away with the idea of calling the caterer to say something and do those explanations bla bla bla. Weddings have evolved actually, you know, and some things no longer matter. But in this wedding, the bride had earlier explained that the caterer was her elder sister and having her say something about the cake would give her more visibility and consequently more jobs. I agreed The lady held the mic and said “.... the red layer of the cake represents the blood that will be shed in this marriage.” I was taken aback by those words but refused to take it out of context as my mind told me “maybe she meant the blood of Jesus that was shed in this marriage.” Few hours later, towards the end of the day, I was having a talk with the groom and got to realize this dude had a boxing gold medal in one of the previous editions of the Nigerian University Games. Oh shit! That woman knew! ♂️

Fool!. I never for once mentioned she was my girlfriend. Maybe you should know that part of being a SIMP is the inability to read and understand; shallow mindedness and dull thinking! Unintelligent mofo. Geddifok man! Kollins11: |
You're fucking crazy! You new set of "alpha males" know nothing about this revered movement. Don't be quick to call every man a simp. So when has a man falling in love suddenly makes him a SIMP? You're a disgrace and need better exposure on the red pill movement. Nyascobar1414: |
May your find cure for your bittered soul. Amen. Kollins11: |
Hi guys. I need your comment and advice on this matte. I got to know this girl from a friend back in July. She's a 23 year old final year LLB student and I'm 27 years old Lab Scientist. We got talking at first and I began to develop interest in her. She's calm, cool headed and has never even bothered me with any financial needs (which I'm still stunned about, very unlikely of Port Harcourt girls). I'm very selective of girls but found this one to be very decent and maybe different. I have plans of taking things serious with her. We've gone out in a date at a bar once and it was all shades of amazing, there we shared our first kiss. Just recently, on Sunday, a friend celebrated his birthday at a night club here in PH (411). I thought to invite this babe, she was pleased and accepted the invite. We got there, ate, drank and it was dancing time with the DJ and hypeman. We danced and she was wild on the dance floor with me. I was quite surprised but kept my cool because of the atmosphere. The next shock happened, one of the big boys began throwing money up in the air, minted ₦100 & 200 notes and this babe legit left me and began picking money on the ground. I brought her close, but she would let go and kept fighting with the crowd for the cash, she was almost trampled on. For more than 15 minutes, I watched her picking. I was quite embarrassed. Shortly after, we left and I dropped her off. I've not been the same again since then, I've struggled with myself to communicate with her unlike before. I know money is important, but is that a bad sign? Is this a red flag? Should I ignore her actions and forge ahead? I'm really confused. |

Erik ten Hag: "Yes, Cristiano Ronaldo refused to come on against Tottenham". "There has to be consequences. It is important for the attitude and mentality of the group". "Details are between Cristiano Ronaldo & me. The statement is also clear. Cristiano remains an important player in the squad". "I'm responsible for the culture, I've to set the standards and values. Football is team sport. You have to set certain standard".

Couple of weeks back, before the flood, I was on my way back to PH from Bayelsa. We were 3 passengers seated on the row directly behind the driver's seat. The conductor, who was a fairly old man (early 50s I think) sat on the seat behind me with 2 other passengers (as one had earlier alighted at Elele). “Oga wetin you dey do? You no go respect yourself? Abi you want make I use hand reset your brain? You dey mad?” the lady sitting beside the conductor screamed. We all turned back to know what was going on, including the driver who was on steering. The conductor was staring at the lady who was verbally abusing him and calling him all manner of names with threats here and there. Because no one knew what transpired, we all turned our faces to the front and focused on the journey. No one decided to interfere, rather they gave the "none of my business" vibes. Less than 5 minutes later, the lady began screaming and raising abuses again on the conductor. “You dey mad oga! If konji dey do you, go find ash*wo. No dey put your hand on top my lap. If you do am again, I go clear your eyes.” Since it became very obvious that the conductor was illegally having physical contact with the lady, he was cautioned by a few in the bus, including the driver. I shook my head in disgust at the man who had “fallen our hands,” and turned my face to the front. That was when I was conscious of the fact that the young, pretty lady who sat by my right had her hand on my laps for more than 30 minutes. I don't know whether it was for her support or for intimacy purpose. THIS LIFE NO BALANCE. |
