Kanye is a consummate simpleton.
He's a bloody attention seeker.
Hehehe . . . that's good to hear.
At least one person accepts the fact that white people are 'consummate simpletons' cheesy

spikedcylinder:
This dude?!?!?
You seriously think he was trying to kick against the unjust system and racism? Do any of you know Kanye at all? He did that because he wanted to be in the spot light! He doesn't care about anyone else but himself. PC my behind! cheesy

bouzymill:
Eldee, there's not need to get upset over debates. that's what they are, debates. When i made my point, u brought out what i didn't say out of my post that i said: 'modenine can't sound like M.I unless he's on autotune'

What i said is M.I sounds like lil wayne (accepted to him), and if Modenine sounds like M.I, that means Modenine sounds like Lil  Wayne, which is not possible for modenine unless he is on autotune, i didn't mention M.I. When u typed your response and i saw it, i decided not to go for it cos i didn't say it.
I can't get upset over this . . .
This is the easiest way to get you point across to Nigerians, NL taught me.
At the end of the day, most of the people are argue with are on my YiM/Facebook

bouzymill:
BUt what the heck are we talking bout, if he decides to put his shit down that way, Fine. I won't argue anymore, i just replied this because it related to me and that anyone opposed to your views is a modestan is wrong. It's like people calling you ''mode9 hater'', you don't like it too but u've stayed cosistently at it for good two years. never said anything good about him
You say it like jerking off on Modenine's pic is my civic duty.
Have I ever said anything good about Terry Tha Rapman, Eldee, Naeto C or OD??

We can stay here and act like we don't know who the Modestans are.
I coined the word but everyone that's ever visited the NL Music section knows the usual suspects.
We know the people that throw common sense into the Thames once Modenine is involved.
See how the first page of this thread went and tell me if you can't spot a Modestan.

bouzymill:
How do we know it is Modenine's way of going commercial? atleast, he is doing it for you people, maybe you'ld vhange you mind about him. He has also been affected by the mass appeal syndrome. Now u people can dance to his club bangers atleast that is what you want: ''soft landing''

So, accept him and let him breathe pls.

I aint dissing, just droppin my points
Maybe you missed the 'It's his choice' part of my post.
He makes his decisions, fine . . . but I will not let anyone go all ballistic on Caliente for saying what any five year old would easily notice.

You're my inspiration, sometimes I feel like just making an extra transfer . . . but nah, My assistant manager Mr El Toda-effin Dee just comes in.
Last week he was like 'Why make three transfers at once?? Remember you've got that relegation candidate right behind you' cheesy cheesy

This is not the first time Kanye West will hi-jack the microphone and start ranting his nonsense.
Who exactly does he think he is? He is not even the best in his own music genre so who made him the Public Address System.
I liked the fact he was booed. . . . . .That should give him some soul-searching.
What of Jarvis Cocker at the Brits??
Was he a disgrace to white people??

davidylan:
We've become too stale, everyone puts on an air of "decorum" and "goodness" these days. You cant say a word out of place without having the media or the public on your back (not least especially if you're black). I saw a lot of posts here today complaining about Kanye bringing shame on his race and i wonder . . . do white people accuse rapists of "bringing shame to their race"? NO!

It seems blacks have an unconscious desire to be accepted by whites and so any black who bucks the trend of "acceptable behaviour" by white standards is heavily vilified by us.

Kanye said what A LOT OF FOLKS where thinking but were too PC to say. I really could care less . . . how many have even seen a Taylor Swift video here before? Who is she? Another averagely talented but blonde white teen?
What more can I say . . . you spoke my mind
We're being influenced by the media to be subservient and not have the ability to think for ourselves
The media is the new 'opium of the masses'.

In a revolution, we need the combined efforts of MLK and Malcolm X to stop these things.
Kanye's videos are the best around, but he's only won two VMAs  . . . nah, that's just raw B.S

Should we then discredit the awards he has won in his career?
Beyonce didn't even complain and Kanye-the-loud-mouth-West went up there disgracing the black race.
Kanye did what he felt was right . . . MTV have been making decisions he felt were biased against Hiphop/R'n B artistes.
This is bigger than Beyonce or Taylor Swift . . . it's even bigger than Kanye, it's about equality.

davidylan:
err because its put to vote and as Taylor was the only country singer on she was going to win. Beyonce would have had to split the votes with other females.
Exactly . . . he was just pointing out the fact that Americans still tend to let racial differences influence their decisions.
Maybe important awards like the VMA's shouldn't be left to public votes. . . like it's done at the Brits.

It's being a time bomb waiting to explode since he walked out on Justin's acceptance speech way back.

Women tennis has never been as competitive as the male version Maybe since Steffi Graff retired. Graf Seles, Davenport made the era interesting.

But foe Gender equality and political correctness Women shouldnt be earning the same as their male counter parts
That does not excuse Kanye West running to the stage to talk bullshit.
Like WTF is Kanye West to be interrupting a music award. . . . . . .
U can take a tramp from the bush but you can never take the bush outta the tramp.

Kanye is a disgrace!!!
I know it's was totally uncalled for, but you can't blame a man for standing up for what he believes in.
He's come out many times against the way MTV still tend to recognise country artistes over their urban counterparts.
It might have been disrespectful, but MTV had it coming.
Music/Radio › Re: Mode 9 Sounding Like M.I. by eldee(m): 7:06pm On Sep 14, 2009
I'm allergic to bullshit and i'm seeing too much of it here . . .
Modestans make this so easy, 'in favour of Modenine, it's the truth'
This makes it so freaking hilarious . . . I don't have time for all this, I've made my point and all they can come up with is a bunch of lame excuses.

A poster noticed this senseless lifting, came on Nairaland and posted what he thought could attract reasonable 'rapheads'
First 9-10 posts were filled with crap like 'You're a fool', 'You're stupid' . . . undecided

Then I asked for the track, listened to it, because I suspected that I might be biased, I gave it to other people to listen, same reply.

All of a sudden, the trend of the replies changed . . . 'Modenine cannot sound like M.I because he never uses the auto-tune' - Thank God he edited it on time . . . 'Modenine sounded hoarse' cheesy cheesy(Sum idiot that doesn't know hoarse has been used to describe everything from DMX to Johnny Cash) . . . M.I doesn't have a voice (Then how do we always identify him on songs with all three of the Choc City boys??) undecided . . . they get more hilarious as the number of replies increase.

Y'all need to wake up and smell the bleeping latte . . .
No one came out to say Terry Tha Rapman, OD, Eldee, Saucekid, Ruggedman sound like M.I.
Why?? Because they don't!!!

We all know this is Modenine's idea of how to go commercial . . .
One simple faux pas here is obvious, his fans wanted him to do an M.I not to sound like him
I don't care if it was not intentional . . . it's his choice.

I need to start taking big leaps if I'm going to keep Tubabie FC down there where she belongs cheesy cheesy

Now I need to go after Benayoun, he's definitely going to be the new Gerrard in Liverpool now that the fans can't get enough of him
I xpect more MOM performances . . . and he's pretty cheap too.
