It's always like that, y'all talk and talk . . . and when sumone says sumn you can't defend, you move to a new thread. |

Debosky stop yapping . . . you call that a prediction?? Here's what I told you last week before I went on on top of the January table . . . eldee:You gave us your fear-fear prediction and you want to come hear and make mouth . . 'there'll be big winners and big losers'. ![]() Still highest point total in the league this month . . . if you want another crystal clear unambiguous prediction, you'll get one. |

Did anyone pick Ipswich defenders?? ![]() |
slimshay:Once we say that we're interested in an EPL defender even Wigan go triple price dey claim say 'we don't like to sell to our rivals.' ![]() |
Switch47 is a big fan of notChelsea ![]() |
I think St. Saviour Arochukwu Girl's College of Immaculate Conception Township Educational Centre at Akumadipioko is the best school out there right now . . . Stillwater went there, she can testify. ![]() |
hannie:Bendtner is not as good as Chamakh abeg . . . just the ability to be an aerial threat cancels out Bendtner, it's not about your disappointment, it's about who's better. And bout the van Persie thing, I complained the first time I saw them play . . . even Sagna was mad when he crossed and they appeared to be fighting for the ball. They've only played two games together as Debosky said, but we'll see. BTW, you said Chamakh is always hiding?? Baba which kain yarns be that abeg?? |
HNIC:We get Henry (Champ's League Winner, five time top scorer in the EPL, France and Arsenal record scorer) to train with us and no one finds out . . . Tottenham get Beckham to train with them and they hold a press conference like it's a transfer or sumn. Small club mentality. |
hannie:Bendtner is wack jare . . . he doesn't contribute much to our game, he's crappy as a point-man, he's not as good as Chamakh is with the ball on his feet, I don't know if he's faster than Chamakh, and you talk about positioning . . . Chamakh lives in the box, that's what we need for Clichy, Sagna and all the crossing players, it turns bad games into victories . . . Arshavin's bad games at the beginning were covered up because of his assists, that's why you need a Chamakh. And it's RVP's fault that he doesn't bond with Chamakh, he's a jack of all trades, so he goes to play Maradona on time and then decides 10 minutes later that he wants to win headers . . . if he can hold back and stick to his Maradona thing, then Chamakh will be more effective. And finally, haba . . . Chamakh is tired na. . . Bendtner just started his season last month. |
@Slimshay My apologies on the Chelsea issue, I agree with you on that Chelsea issue. It's just my fanstrastion that's affecting me. And the Chelsea Carling Cup comment was out of me spending to much time with Dayokanu. ![]() |
@Dr Kit Na lie . . . I nor go gree, yo just did pure ojoro. How can you give Bendtner credit for a pass, and slate Chamakh in the same breath?? Ko jor. Chamakh gives box opening passes all the time, in fact we criticize him for doing it too many times. You're just looking for an excuse to praise Bendtner jare. Chamakh can do anything and everything Bendtner can do, and he is good in the air . . . Bendtner can't head to save his mum's life. This is purely a case of arguing backwards. . . you start with the decision you've made and you find reasons for it. Bendtner was inexistent before Chamakh left the pitch and he threatened the opposition till he got tired, and who can blame him, he's played more matches than even out keeper. How can you say Chamakh can't be bothered?? He's the hardest working player in our team save for Nasri, I've never seen Chamakh not struggle for a header or hold on to the ball instead of trying to outpace a player . . . I nor go gree jare. And so what Bendtner has a bond with Walcott?? Chamakh has a bond with the wingbacks (like seriously, when did Sagna's balls start connecting??), he's a good part of the Nasri-Fab triangle, and he's the god of the Plan B. And let's easily forget the way he made Arshavin look bad with that silly pass . . . the way he took silly shots when we know how crappy his shot accuracy is, the way he missed the easiest header of the match . . . let's call him a star because Chamakh got tired. I don't know who's better, but in that match Chamakh was by miles. |
@Slimshay I'm not complaining, I applauded the Nasri Carling Cup appearances didn't I?? And about the Chelsea thing . . . yeah, they overused their players this season in the 1 Carling Cup match they lost. ![]() A team that had no Lampard, Drogba, Alex, Ivanovic, Ashley Cole, Essien . . . infact that only two guys that are of note there are Anelka and Terry, come the eff on man. I said, when you have a team this good like Arsenal is right now. . . rotation is the best way to ensure that the difference between Team A and Team B doesn't widen and it also gives you that added advantage of helping you win. |
debosky:Now this is a valid argument . . . and that's the one I stand with in the first place. Our players are injury prone, yep . . . not erm, 'Chelsea played Drogba in the Carling Cup so that's why they're fifth on the table.' And the reason why I said it's not unreasonable . . . we've got about 22 first 11 players (context please) . . . no position on the pitch has been settled yet, we need to win the cups and the leagues, lose rotation won't kill. Playing Fab in the FA Cup means we get to avoid replays and ish like that. . . playing Gibbs in the league means he learns early. This team was literally built out of necessity, necessity today is, winning trophies will help us keep the players we bred. |
slimshay:I'm saying we've got a large enough team to play everybody all the time. . . I'm not saying it's the way to go, I'm saying it's not as unreasonable as you lot always make it sound. Wenger realised that already, playing Nasri in the Carling Cup but leaving him on the bench in the EPL. So Mourinho's Chelsea was knackered midway through the season too?? I remember Lampard and Cech playing full seasons and still playing in the Carling Cup. Drogba was the Carling Cup's top scorer the year they beat us, i think. Terry, Carvalho . . . etc. Carlo's Chelsea is failing for one simple reason, loose money is no longer available. . . the same team that bought Essien and Shevchenko when they were the toast of Europe is keeping duds like Kalou and Anelka as important players. |
slimshay:Yeah whateva . . . I don't like it, but it's not unreasonable either, isn't that how they won all these trophies?? |
HNIC:They usually allow it in exchange for a promise to give the guy more playing time. See as the guy just dey disturb Gibbs. |
debosky:Let it be placed on the record that Debosky retracted his comment on Eldee FC's current form. Let is also be on the record that he apologizes for trying to question the Legend's opinion. ![]() |
debosky:Would you like to offer an early retraction of your comment bout me scoring higher this Gameweek?? ![]() |
Domestic ban for Stevie G!!!! ![]() |
slimshay:I've got an excuse, I'm writing a paper for my Uni, what's Bamsyles?? ![]() |
