Hello guys i have a question.

I have HND and currently on NSYC, I'm thinking of applying for BSC jn Germany and not sure I'll be able to complete my NSYC before leaving...
I need your sincere advice guys....

I'm fed up
Worrying has never solved anybody's problem, desperation have lead people to terrible ditches. My brother delay is not denial. I understand your plight. But you need to calm down at this moment.

As regards this issue of yours, I would suggest you look out for a place you can do a one year PGD with very good course contents as required by most of the German schools offering your course of interest, take for instance if you are interested in economics, they might want to see if you have done courses in quantitative finance, macroeconomics, economic policies etc.

You can register and apply before you finish your nysc depending on when the session commence so that by the time you are through with nysc, you will have few months to round up your PGD and probably package your nysc as your work experience.

Also during this time, you have the advantage of learning the German language to a certain level if you are really diligent, remember it's your meal ticket to the hustling you once made mention of while still keep tabs on the different schools you are interested in but make sure you have lots to them.

With your PGD, you can now apply for your beloved Msc, I know you might say is it possible? yes it's absolutely possible. I know someone here who did, and have been admitted to an Msc program in Germany.

Package your application very well, learn how to prepare top notch resumes and motivation letter and apply as soon as possible. Talk to your sponsors about the change in plans and let them know it's all geared towards better opportunities for you.

Above all, commit your ways unto the Lord so that He can direct your path, may lines fall in pleasant places for you.God's grace in all. Shalom.

Make sure you explicitly explain this in your motivation letter as requested by the embassy.

Hi my people. I have been a comment reader on this platform for long. Learning everyday from gurus here. Please I have not been able to book appointment for the past two weeks. Benin Republic and Ghana have many appointment days, while Nigeria has none.
Are you sure you read comments here cos this issue have been discussed several times here. This is something you do yourself bro, nobody will stay awake all night for you while you sleep off at the comfort of your bed.

So keep checking, after all its not even late to book appointment for winter semester. But this time around, stay awake as from 10:50pm till 11:30pm.

Please kindly take out your number off your post to avoid scammers visiting you.

Thanks for your response. what do you suggest I do Now.
I already suggested what you need to do. You don't have so many options for bsc English taught courses, so it's better you look out for something related or you switch gear to other disciplines. With your bsc and waec you can apply for courses you have got interest in. So get back to work asap

Looking for universities that offer Bachelor's in English (biology or Environmental related) I have done extensive search myself but I can't find. before you talk about Rhein Waal( no finance atm for IELTS )
Even if it in deutsch I don't mind I am studying German to B1 level presently or a conditional admission with language course inclusive ain't bad at all.
Since you don't have funds for ielts at the moment, I would suggest you look for other related courses that suits your interest. Don't restrict yourself to just one thing alone. Moreover studying in deutsch is not quite funny, remember you still need to do some side hustle to enable you pay bills since you have about six to seven semesters for bachelors. Why adding more load to existing loads

House eh, everyone of us should value the information we all get here oh,it is priceless. I saw one guy who was using an agent at the embassy. You guys need see as dem just de jonze themselves up and down(running from one place to another coz of check list(documents photocopies etc) demands. embarassed

Leave, information is power.
That's why we always advocate people should spend some time to read what is made available here. But unfortunately when you tell some persons so, they see you as an enemy of progress. May God help us all.

Has anyone ever done a preparatory course before an undergraduate Program? I can't seem to apply directly for a Bsc programme without going for a preparatory courses first.
I presume you mean studienkollege, if so kindly look elsewhere. If you already have your first year results and waec, look for bsc courses of interest or something related and kindly apply as soon as possible. There are several courses for bsc study, so you will definitely get some if you put in efforts. So get back to work again.

ARISTOCRATDAMMY1:
Bros, you mean we can still apply in September and October ??

My results ain't ready for now but should be ready by June. HND student considering going for Masters
That's not what I said. I said the programs for winter start by September, October and it's application process have already commenced for some schools, so it's better you start now.

As regards your HND, I really don't think you can get a masters with it more especially if you have not gotten very good work experience. But anyway you can try your luck, there is no harm in trying.

Thanks a lot boss. I really appreciate. I'd try doing it myself. Though I was denied Canadian visa last year after everything while doing it myself but I'd keep trying.
You are most welcomed. As you can see its purely DO IT YOURSELF. it's all for your own good if you decide to do it yourself, even babes follow join the hustle and they are all doing it themselves and getting good results.

I just couldn't hold back my laughter with that your agent demands, imagine a secured bank account you will open online effortlessly at the comfort of your home without paying a dime in a space of two to three days if you are slow.

i would suggest you take time to read from page one of this part six at least for now. Don't tell me it's too much cos we never even go far, you will definitely learn so much. Then if you have time available to you, read from part five. But if you interested in the winter semester which will start most likely by September, October pls you just have to start looking for schools now. I mean right now, Lol

please house i need to know.... is there any age limit for someone applying for bsc. this question arises because i would have loved to apply for masters but i am having difficulties getting courses that relates to statistics thank you
There is no age limit bro. Honestly am really surprised you have been saying you can't get courses related to statistics. Anyway it depends on what area of statistics you are interested in. Statistics cuts across several disciplines, but you can look at courses ranging from business intelligence, data science, medical eg epidemiology, quantitative finance etc

If you are still experiencing difficulties or need further assistance, feel free to pm me, I would be glad to help you.

Thanks just booked,,, but on the requirements I saw come with duly signed application form.. When I don't have any school in mind, just want to certify them n search for schools
It's part of the requirements. Look for five different schools that suits your interest, download their application form and go along with it. I mentioned five because that's the maximum you can certify, so it's best you make good use of the opportunity given since its absolutely free. cheers

Sorry bro. That guy is annoying...
It depends on the angle you are viewing his comment from. From what I saw, he was just trying to tell you the meaning of the German word "Ja" which was the response of the person who replied your question initially. Probably you felt smitted with the way he presented it. Please don't get offended.

How the weekend go be? Oya go buy that your guy one bottle for mama nkechi joint, he is over there waiting for you. Lol

Which University please?
University of Stuttgart. If you think it's because of tuition fee they accepted him, then you are on a very long thing. They really scrutinized what he presented before giving him some considerations. Keep applying to schools that match your interest. If possible get your PGD course descriptions handy as well as your diplomas.

Geomatics @ university of applied sciences Karlsruhe.

Goztino:
Really?
I applied in Karlsruhe University of Applied sciences, and though applied sciences is attached to the name, its a standard university and you can also do your PhD there
You can't do a PhD in Hochschule Karlsruhe cos they don't run PhD programs. Instead with what you got there, you can do your PhD in any university of your choice.

The school is very very good with high standards, and their graduates dey represent. I know someone here who got about four jobs waiting for his signature even before he finished his masters thesis. Infact one company came from Switzerland looking for him.

Hello Everyone,

This may be redundant but I have a friend trying to apply for visa interview slot for winter semester 2019/2020.
Does she send a mail or use the booking system (which has no slot presently)?

Thanks in advance
For now, let her use the booking system by keeping refreshing the webpage between 11.55pm to 12.30am. Dates usually come up during that time. People who used the email address system have not gotten any response of late from what have we recorded here of recent so far though I stand to be corrected anyway.

This was helpful.

Regarding the emboldened:

From my research so far, in Supply Chain Management M.Sc courses, i noticed that most German schools/courses have little or no regard for cognate work experience.

Dont they realize that the experience one gets on the field supersedes whatever theoretical knowledge taught in school?

I am in a similar fix right now. Most of the schools are demanding for evidences of studies in logistics, economics, business, etc, in my undergraduate days. But i studied Microbiology. No correlation at all! But then, i doubt there is any relevant concept in the supply chain field that i am not empirically conversant with.

All in all, i am still gonna take my chances
My brother, it's good you make attempts. But to add to this, I will like you to demonstrate passion by telling them you are willing to take up extra courses probably from their bachelors or from some available short courses that will make you very suitable for admission into the program.

Also make sure your CV is well detailed showing your job title, descriptions (roles) achievements (targets attained) in each position with dates.

Get your motivation letter to be top notch, detailing every necessary things. Above all pray fervently, trusting everything to God. All the very best.

In all demonstrate passion

Please my interview date is on May 3rd. I will like to get further information on how to proceed. With regards to arranging my documents on the checklist. Tiny details like the background for passport. Any need to get my letter of employment from places I have worked? Is there a particular format for the CV and motivation letter. If the motivation letter is handwritten must it be written by you (if you have not so wonderful handwriting). Thanks.
Congratulations in advance. Kindly go through some interview transcripts in part five, guess you will find it more there as this will further enhance your preparations.

Hope your motivation letter is good enough, some persons here have received rejections from the consulate based on this as they couldn't establish a connection as regards their study purpose.

Make sure you have every document requested, original and two or three photocopies at least, otherwise those guys who do business at the park will have a good day doing business with you.

Go with some extra cash, visa fee do fluctuate with changes in forex. The passport is the normal passport size ie 35mm by 45mm, usually on a white background with your face covering two third of the entire passport size.

You don't need to get any letter of employment as long as your intended purpose is studying. There is also no format for the CV. Just make sure you indicate you have not been idle all the while till present. Your motivation should be handwritten by you of course with legible letters, you just have to try to make it legible so that they can easily access the contents of your letter. Don't give room to chance, what if you are asked to rewrite your letter in the presence of the visa officer, though it somehow rare, but you know when village people want do something, e get as e dey be. Ask further questions where you find confusing issues. Make sure you are punctual pls.

All the very best.
