bridget149:Wow, that's good. Congratulations dear |
ceysaga:Thanks sis. |
ceysaga:Says who? Have you forgotten there is a word called GRACE. Please don't relent, apply to several programs that catch your interest. Prepare a very good motivation letter to suit each individual program, it actually goes a long way to enhance your application. If you have some work experience, include them in your cv. And above all, pray for God's favor. NB: Some schools have rolling admission ie they operate on a first come first serve basis. So roll your sleeves and get back on track. All the very best. |
ernestjino:Honestly they have got very good schools here. But as per the tuition I really can't say oooooo, na their government decide am, Lol. |
CuteCeo:Am yet to enroll anyway, but from what I learnt, it's lovely with lots of good courses. Their program is designed to prepare you for the industry immediately after graduation. But you have to put in some great deal of efforts if you really want to grab something. They have very nice professors who are willing to put you through as long as you are willing to learn. And they even go as far as linking you to good student job offers if you so desire. But like I earlier said, you need to put in some efforts. Examinations is not a joking matter here. If you are not prepared for it, just skip it. But you have one hour to finish whatsoever you need to do, mostly ten questions. |
Bamstar007:Am yet to enroll, aiming for winter semester. I already have admissions for msc geomatics at the University or Applied Science Karlsruhe, which incidentally happens to be my first choice. Incidentally most of the wonderful programs for geo related courses are on Baden wurttemberg which requires a payment of €1500 per semester for tuition. This of course is the downside. But in all, it's cool nevertheless. Coping with the payment is not quite funny more especially when others are flexing no tuition, but it's quite feasible if adequately planned. It's not like I have all the money to pay for it, but from what I learnt it's very much possible I actually prefer the geomatics program at Karlsruhe cos its curriculum is second to none for me and you get to learn almost every specialities such as remote sensing, geoinformatics, geodesy, software engineering, surveying and cartography, geobusiness, environmental resource management etc before you graduate and that makes you better suited for the market and consultancy services as well. Unlike others who are just interested in only one or at most two specialties. So in all, it depends on what you actually want. Just as you see in the list of programs I outlined. As regards managing the tuition issue, if you cut down on expenses by getting a cheaper accommodation, you can save for it. And moreover there are lots of good jobs available for students in this region, If you are good in programming from what I heard, na you go run cos BW is the technology hub. |
bridget149:Seems like you are into the GEO world, anyway if you are interested in such program, I will also suggest you check out the following programs. If you are interested in remote sensing, check out KIT and university of wurzburg, If you are for geoinformatics, check out university of muenster and hft Stuttgart If you are for geoinformatics and geodesy, check out Leibniz universitat hannover and TU Berlin If you are interested in hydrography, check out hafencity university, Hamburg Then if you are interested in all these areas of specializations in one program and you be Oliver Twist like us, then come to University of applied sciences Karlsruhe for geomatics. |
obibanks:I would suggest you go back to your school and correct that page where the whole mistake is. I don't know how far you are from your school, but if you possibly can, it's best you correct that mistake once and for all. I am actually saying this based on the assumption that you will apply to several schools in Germany, and you don't know how they will see the inconsistencies in your documents. Germans are usually crazy about date of birth and you never can tell who will review your application and how they might react to such. Alternatively you can do an affidavit to cover up for the mistake, but I just don't know how they will see it. You know apart from school, you will still need the transcript for student visa interview. So the choice remains yours. All the very best. |
SooCute:SooCute, nwoke mara mma, nwoke ka nwanyi mma, nwoke oma enyi oha, abeg no vex, we cherish and look up to your contributions here. But still add some good stories for us at least, eg you tell us how you and your professor take go club dance like tomorrow no dey, or how your professor take you out to go drink cool beer with nkwobi, lol. Please don't stop helping biko. Thank you so much. One love bro. |
modupejay:He is actually not generalising, if you read in between his comments very well, you will see where he made reference to statistics. And he is telling you exactly how it is with undeniable facts of which one or two persons here have confirmed. Its good we know all these things to enable us make informed decisions. Of course you know how expensive ignorance can be, so I really commend his style. One love brother. |
Mystique20:Congratulations in advance dear, am glad you finally made it. Success awaits you as you come to deutschland. cheers |
Bergoglio:search for schools on google, daad.de for a start. I believe we have different demands and moreover this is something you should do for yourself, unless you don't know what you want. For instance we might study same business administration, but I may be interested in finance, cos I find it more interesting and I look forward to building a career on it, while you might be interested in management. so you see our choices differ. why I am saying this is cos you alone know what you are capable of. so make out time to research on possible options as well as related courses too. That reminds me, if you are interested in an MBA, you can check on this program. it's a full scholarship. Kofi Annan scholarship for mba in Germany. There's no harm in trying anyway. All the very best |
Darrelah:Sorry I have to sound this way this morning, but I think it's expedient. If I am not mistaken this happens to be your very first comment here after getting every desirable information that got you seamlessly to this phase. Now you stuck with a problem and you have made a comment sharp sharp seeking for solutions. Why do you guys think only about yourselves, why do you want to benefit from a system without giving back, why are you so selfish bro. Is it just about you alone. You see people looking for solutions to problems which you have already done and cleared and you care less. What sort of person are you? If others have not laid the foundation for you will you find a platform to soar. Honestly am very pissed when I see such persons just like you. You want to eat from a system without giving something in return. Now you are looking for assistance all of a sudden cos you are stuck in the wood. You suddenly remembered you can get assistance here, but you forgot you have not helped anyone here, not even those looking for schools to apply, or those confused with certifications. If this is the kind of persons coming to deutschland, then I wonder if there will be hope for the upcoming applicants. May God help us all. Danke |
chiboy429:use Google Chrome, it has a translator already. so you just click to translate the entire page to English. |
Ndkings1:Google cities in Bavaria. |
ugwmsinachi:Did you read the comment about sponsorship letter which immafrank posted here few days ago. If not, try and digest it for better understanding of your situation. Cheers |
bl33d:Racism we learnt is more around eastern germany regions with exception to Berlin being the capital of Germany, the Germans are quite conservative but very nice and straight forward. More shocking you might get rude expressions with beefs from your fellow African brothers from cameroun, Kenya and possibly Ghana etc. But in all, you will definitely survive. |
Kenechill:like I earlier said from the reports we are getting. It's not like other places are not tough, but it seems to be more with Bavaria Here is an excerpt from a veteran, I have to shorten it. Now it happened that many folks didn't have a clue. I asked the professor, "Are we gonna be expecting this kinda thing in Exam?" She answered "You know, i didn't make the rules. It is typical for the Bavarian region. Our exams are usually not multi-choice. Normally, Education in Bavaria is tougher than every other part of Germany...so when you pass with a Bavarian certificate, ......." Well, i am saying this because many people here wanted to travel out of Nigeria for many reasons. For me, if German certificate is German certificate....why should i come and kill myself by myself? Honestly, don't be discouraged. But also don't say "I wish i was told earlier". I have come of age to know what fits me per time. No be paper we dey find come here las las? What shall it profit your village people that you came here and graduate in 10years? Ogbeni are you a baby? |
Kenechill:Berliner1 : 9:30am On Nov 23 , 2018 SooCute : B2 should take you less than a year. But if you mingle and force yourself to speak (your cut and join German) you would eventually start making sense sooner. Also depends on how much time you wanna put-in. I would advice you to start learning German from Nigeria. Throw yourself to it. Just like @hounorableseyi hinted, If yo come here bro/Sis you go ration your time ooo. Alot of wahala if you are doing Bachelors in Engineering( or STEM). Time no go too dey plus course work, hustle go tie you down. If you want soft small....avoid education in BAVARIA...i wouldn't say more than this.. Just laughing here about bavaria...where at the TUM fanatics? Only one state with dramatic auslanderbehorde(foriegners office) and weirdo Uni... My advice, learn basics German upto A2...look for mini job and face your studies 100%....look for internship or work student....dont com here for courses that are not marketable....during summer...work full time to save...prepare for life after studies....linkedin...xing etc. Employers dont employ based on university ranking here....this is not UK or USA...dont come here for MBA as well...if one school is difficult transfer your credit to another uni. God bless our hussle.. |
bjayNL:Why the two if I may ask, and why only TUM? The reports we have gotten from schools in bavaria seems not quite cool anyway. I would suggest you check out for other courses that catch your interest, if possible look out for related courses as well. But make sure you check the application process very well to see if it suits you. For the scratch card, anyone you get is ok, as long as its valid to check the results. But note it must be printed, and please don't attach it to the copy you are meant to submit. Just have it on you. Every study related expenses you are required to make for the whole year is being captured in that 8640 of which accommodation is inclusive, however take note you have to pay for Nigeria bank charges and your block account handling cost. So you should be funding with 8829 euros or a little more depending on the bank you intend to use. But while traveling, make sure you have with you at least a sum of about €1000 to enable you sort out other relevant expenses before you unblock and also your caution fees if you have need to secure accommodation especially when its very difficult to find one. As per uniassist, some persons here are already putting their applications together to forward to unassist to reduce cost, so read to find out who they are and contact them. You have to locate them and not them coming to you. As regards other questions of yours, feel free to ask them here but make sure you ask reasonable questions. Kindly read pages from part five at least to learn more about the process. We encourage active participation so we await to see your contributions to other people who are also new, just as we are doing to you now. Remove every entitlement mentality and don't expect we spoon feed you. You see say na my church mind I carry answer you this questions with details even though you go say you no force me, laughs. But plz be polite, humble and be resourceful to others here with your contributions. One love. |
Determinedsoul:You have to live up to that name of yours if you are really ready to embark on this journey. Invest your time in the search, read pages from part five at least for resourceful information that will enhance your application and save you lots of cost, except you don't mind making terrible mistakes and losing money as well. Almost everything you need to know is domiciled here. For the search use daad.de and also google as well. Also look out for related courses and apply as much as possible so that you won't limit your chances. |
imoriafe:I haven't seen that happen in a while. Embassy clearly stated in their website that what they accept is your admission letter, a scanned copy is enough to book for appointment. |
lecksam:Unless stated by the schools you are applying to, but it's better you do something standard and normal ie 11 or 12 font size. But for the embassy it should be handwritten, so take note of the difference. As for the CV, guess you are referring to the EU format, ie the one with your picture. If so, you are good to go with that, unless stated otherwise. Please try and read pages from part 5 at least, it's to the best of your interest. |
toys2seven:I just did that when I asked you to critically check your motivation letters and the application requirements. |
toys2seven:That's not the very best of approach to the best of my knowledge. I suggest you check your motivation letters and take a critical look at what each application demands. Meanwhile what's your bsc and what's your cgpa |
Mystique20:Na only guys you dey wish best of luck abi, what of we the babes (the softwares), abi we no follow waka come. Lol |
@ chriswazo, I deh feel you bro. That matter na God hand we leave am for now. It's well. |
