Some people here after getting tons of advice and info, fail to share their experience when they succeed or attend interviews. Just can't imagine how selfish people could be.

For those seeking 4 private responses to their problems without dropping a line to enlighten others, well done.

Guess we need to address some of this attitudes for future purposes.

@johnnyessence, a big congratulations to you, by the grace of the Almighthy God, we will rock the geospatial world. During the week, i somehow stumbled into a thread for pakistanis and indians and discovered they are also facing the same thing we are experiencing about visa interview denials after admissions, infact some students from bangladesh complained bitterly that not even a single student have been interviewed not to talk of granting a student visa.

i have personally sent a passionate appeal to the German embassy in Abuja, requesting for possible student interview schedule for us here in Nigeria citing different challenges we are faced with at the moment such schools granting admissions very late, scarcity of passport booklets and delays in admission decisions by some schools, but still no response till date.

I also sent a mail to the international office of my university, citing the same situation and requested for them to assist, but still no single response from them which is quite unlike them. I have to forward a mail to the program director for my intended course, and she sincerely told me the government and the immigration have directed they remain mute as regards this which is definitely beyond them as it stands.

The German government is definitely spending a large chunk of their finance on education which is not just for their citizens alone but also for me and you inclusive and other persons all over the world. The population of applicants in no doubts keep increasing and this is definitely a challenge to their budget which i believe you should understand. Pls brothers and sisters lets thread comments with caution while sending messages via social media and other means. This i have come to understand from the indians and pakistanis who are already there.

Its quite disheartening how selfish some of us can be here, we keep complaining about those who have already made some steps by being there, on how they have not been dropping some lines here, but we fail to offer informative and timely information, while some enjoy sitting on the fence as observers and only comment when they need help. Some of us are very much aware of this situation last year and failed to provide timely information to the house. Its all well.

Sorry if my write up doesn't go down well, but i hope we all understand and make valuable adjustments for the benefit of one another.. Thanks in all.

@Immafrank, saw your post , no doubts you are applying for geomatics at hochschulse karlsruhe, a nice school no doubts. presently had an admission with them, but waiting for the embassy to kindly give us dates for interview. attached with this is a sample of the grading stuff you asked for, pls kindly modify it together with your HOD or exam officer to suit your schools grading system and make sure your HOD or exam officer stamps and signs on it, all written on your departmental letter headed paper. Moreover, if am to ask, which semester are you applying for, cos i know its over for winter?

Good morning all, just received my confirmation of block account details yesterday from fintiba, will like to verify which of the pdf downloaded documents am i to upload for visa interview application, is it the "make the transfer pdf" or "contract details block account pdf", cos after going through the two documents thoroughly i seem to be confused as to which is required for the visa interview application, the first one contains the account details ie acc number and so on, while the later is just a long list of agreement details. pls for those who have since passed this stage, will be needing your kind response. thanks

Am also wondering how we are going to pass this hurdle of visa interview dates fully booked, just wondering if extension of enrollment deadline will always suffice. Anyway i will email my school international office after the visa interview application, they just have to find a way ooooo. Never heard about this kind situation at all. America embassy wey people dey flock like say tomorrow no dey, such have never been heard from them. They should at least try and make provisions for more improvised visa officers in situations like this.

I actually downloaded the pdf for application from the departmental webpage, and moreover sent my documents through post. which pdfs are you actually refering to, kindly follow the instructions given, they are absolutely clear enough and easy. which course are you applying for? if you are yet to apply, you need to hasten up. Admission initially rejected by university of stuttgart, geomatics engineering. Thank God for His mercies, admission granted by University of applied sciences karlsruhe, geomatics. Still expecting the decisions for University of applied science, stuttgart Photogrammetry and geoinformatics. fortunately the programme at Hochschule karlsruhe has a better curriculum than the university of stuttgart. All thanks be to God almighty.God will see each and every one of us through.

Biko, Bros kindly post them here no matter the controversies you think it might create, remember everyone is entitled to his or her opinion and we see things from different perspective, and moreover it's not about being an authority, it's about sharing and humbly learning, we are all here to learn from each other. No one has the compendium of knowledge.

@gracious 136, i wonder where you got this series of information from. Guess you are just being quite apprehensive which is not the best for visa interview process, cos you will end up messing yourself up. Kindly follow the tread carefully, you will get vital details of whatever you need to prepare, also your school can give you tips if you email them, moreover visit the website of the german embassy in Nigeria. Pls get yourself well informed, do some research, engage your brains, you have the internet at your disposal.

@ hybeenoni, i sent my application through Nipost office at owerri, Infact two different applications, different dates and they all arrived Germany within two weeks. Guess that's the headquarters for the state ie the one at owerri, just directly opposite the municipal council.

The fastest way definitely will be through all this private courier service (DHL, FedEx, redstar etc), but I used Nipost for mine and was lucky it went fast. Sent my application on the 22nd of march and was emailed by the school on the 4th of April. I did registered mail

Many thanks to everyone who have tirelessly contributed to seeing to the growth of this tread. I must confess, I have benefited in no doubt with the wealth of information being dished here. I want to say danke to you all. I have applied to three different schools for an msc in Geoinformatics, but recently got a rejection from one. I know how competitive german schools could be which makes me gear for more. But in all, it's really worth it if you ask me and very lovely if you get one. The course contents are mouth watering. Am really hoping and praying for an admission come this winter.

Permit me to say a special thank you to our brother EKE, My prayers for you is that God will continually put smiles to your face, the kind of smiles that makes you baffle at God's goodness. God in his infinite mercies will guide and see us through our various endeavors.

doctor Vicky, i can deduce you are about entering a life time venture with the wrong mindset and attitude, for instance imagine you calculating what you have spent so far towards your own marriage and it seems to you that you have done quite too much. assumption is a giant killer in most beautiful relationship, that's why it is always adviced to communicate everything with your to be hubby. you have allowed family and friends to chip in their ideology in your relationship, but you need wisdom to function properly in any human endeavor. it's not everything you implement when being given suggestions. you have to seive it and check which to implement. remember a wise woman builds her home, but the foolish one scatters it.
I am saying this based on the comments you made. how can you tell me he is generous to everyone except you, how can you tell me he should know what to do without being told all the time, have you realized that the human mind is deceitful in all, and perhaps nobody is perfect. did it not occur to you that nobody is perfect and you are there to complement him in his weaker side.

prayerfully check out the following reputable farms in enugu (Phinoma farms and nebo farms), find your way to them, let them know your mission, let them know you are prepared to work for free and also willing to stay in their farm to work and learn. you can also make enquires about other farms, I know enugu is blessed with a handful of them. I am giving this advice because I observed the advice you got earlier before embarking are all wrong. the choice of breed you embarked on is not too good. I have learnt of several complaints from different persons about birds from obasanjo farm, and as such can't guarantee you on that. fumigation is absolutely necessary before you restock your birds. buying commercial feeds will not take you far, you need to learn feed formulations. birds perform badly if not properly vaccinated against disease, so you need to understand that and LEARN. different farms have different vaccination programs. you also have to understand that laying capacity of birds fluctuates due to certain factors as age, management. breed, disease infections, temperature etc and peak periods are evident but certainly do elapse. anyway take good care. I took some time to read your post, and I can deduce you really need help. it's quite unfortunate you are learning the hard way, which is not cool. poultry is quite extensive and requires so much attention to details. for your case, I will suggest some things to you, but do note it's just my humble opinion and not something binding on you to implement.
first and foremost, the mistake have been done and as such, does not require you beat yourself and I guess you have learnt some things.
***you need to equip yourself with relevant knowledge and modern technology in other to succeed in this business, that is if you want to succeed in it.
***you need to be actively involved in the production process if you intend to grow it.
***before you restock, pls go and help yourself by making out quality time to understudy a successful poultry farm to avoid being beaten twice.
***then invest your money in it.
God will bless the works of your hands and you will succeed in it.
