serendy:Am heading to Karlsruhe though, as regards accommodation, kindly check out the following website wg-gesucht.de/en and probably studentenwerk for your place of destination. |

I guess this issue have been extensively discussed here today. just go through and get the information you seek. |
thattallboi:I don't think that will poise any problem so to speak. The only problem will probably be when you submit the block account opening confirmation during the interview and later use sponsorship letter for the proof of the required funds. |
@oversworld, I was actually told by the visa officer who interviewed me not to present a sponsorship letter since I came with a block account opening confirmation, he even asked to enquire severally and adviced I shouldn't try it at all. so I don't know why he said so. Probably there is something about the use of sponsorship letter we really don't know. Pls if there's anyone here who presented block account opening confirmation and later use sponsorship letter for funding successfully, kindly share with the house how you went about it, so that others in this situation will learn. thanks |
@panelbeater, did you really go through the requirements of the course you intend applying for, as I can see there seems to be a mix up or probably you must have done the wrong thing along the line. As regards this program, I will suggest you contact the course coordinator, let them know you are applying for msc and not bsc and moreover doing a German language course in Germany is very very expensive as you have seen for yourself, so you are the one to advice yourself if you possibly can do such. I will also suggest you forget about winter application if this happens to be your very first start as you might likely not like the pressure you will face.Take your time and search for schools that suits your career development, go through their course contents thoroughly and more especially the course descriptions so as to understand what you're going for. If you're also new here, spend your precious time reading through previous parts of this thread, spend less time on facebook if you possibly can. All the very best. |
Kloneboi:kindly go through the first page of this thread, you will find some helpful information that will enable you start your adventure, if possible leave facebook small, make this guys your close allies that is google.com and daad.de as they have a lot of things to teach you. search for schools offering your course of interest or related courses. lastly if you possibly can, read through comments on part 3 and 4, you will be amazed at the wealth of information at your fingertips. Trust me you will be a guru by the time this guys finish dealing with you and don't forget to give back as that has been our customs here, lest you wouldn't have gotten any helpful information to assist you in getting things done. All the very best. |

Are you the person seeking for information on what to do or someone else. you made mention of your brother earlier and also made mention of you writing the school seeking for enrollment extension. My point here is consistency, don't get me twisted though. As regards this issue, try as much as possible to see if you can convince the coordinator of the program to send an admission letter in PDF by email with a valid Abuja address which you will provide. reasons are there is every possibility for you to get an earlier date at the embassy in Abuja if you have an Abuja address unlike using any other address apart from Abuja which will land you at the Lagos consulate. Try to explain in clear terms the challenges of getting an early visa interview date and plead to get a fresh admission letter with Abuja address to enable you or your brother enrol. All the very best. |
Bellss:@bellss, patience remains the key. Remember situations are not the same each day. There seems to be lots of applications ranging from student visa, tourist visa, family reunion etc which I believe the consulate will be very busy with. Give them some time, they might probably respond. If not send them a mail to get the acknowledgement of your BA confirmation. cheers |
Bellss:pls take note of the quote from cays24 which I just dropped. I guess that solves your question. cheers |
Cay24:@ Bellss, also take note of this. @ cays24 sorry for quoting you. just want to bring something of notice to bellss, so that he doesn't do the wrong thing and expect results from it. Hope you don't mind me doing so. |
Cay24:@bellss, take note of this for your enquiries. |
ppotter:I stand to be corrected though, but I think this details is not required for the block account confirmation. This is for booking of student visa interview. |
@lalaski001 congratulations, thanks for sharing and encouraging the house. Many more of this will spring forth on this thread. Lines will fall in pleasant places for you. Success awaits you in deutscheland. God bless you real good. shalom |
simplylekan45:In all honesty, am very disappointed with this response of yours. Little wonder why those who are already in Germany hardly respond to issues raised here irrespective of busy schedules. Thanks all the same. All the very best. |
simplylekan45:I believe its quite different from the one you submitted to the school. If you take a closer look at the interview questions people post here, it addresses what they are looking out for in the motivation letter. But in all, google for samples of German student visa motivation letter, you will find some interesting samples that will guide you in preparing yours. Seems you will be actively engaged in the geospatial industry. All the very best. Seems you are |
@ Mr abayomi, many thanks for your comments. I wish you the very best in your pursuits. If I really don't mean well for you I won't chastise you or bring your attentions to pertinent issues you won't have noticed. All the same, It's all geared towards having a better tomorrow. God bless you. shalom |
Oabayomi24:And try to be reasonable when responding to cautions and constructive criticisms. it's only a fool who rejects corrections. Thank you |
Swithoni:I doubt if it's possible, if they want to help you as per their pikin, let them pay in the money into your block account. Or better still get an influential person in your community along side your dad to talk to your local government chairman. Make sure you explain to them how the system works so that they can better represent your case. |
Oabayomi24:Oga having read your previous comments here and this present one, I deduce you are yet to realize the kind of people you are dealing with. Be careful lest you get your fingers burnt, and later come here crying Wolf looking for a quick solution. If you want to succeed in deutschland kindly follow the rules, Germans don't joke one bit with rules. All the very best. |
GeneralBahdGuy:Someone just pasted answers to your questions few days ago. it's quite unfortunate you guys don't read through this thread, always looking for sharp sharp solutions without making any effort. Somebody also spent his time to explain how to search for answers to questions being asked here repeatedly, and still you don't want to utilize it. Its quite pathetic I must confess. God help us |
MaroCruz:It's quite unfortunate that some peeps have abused the system. it's possible maybe due to anxiety and fear, a lot things will be eroded off the minds of applicants. Take a closer look at the story, you can see the applicant has no weight in his or her argument which lead to this. If the applicant said he or she recently relocated to Abuja which prompts the use for it, I guess they would have considered anyway. But apart from that, it's obvious guys are abusing the Abuja thing and that's not good for some others. Guys make una wisen up. We always advocate READ, READ and READ this thread to learn from other people's experience. We also advocate you kindly share your experience so that several others will learn a thing or two from it. Don't just consume without giving back. Shalom. |
freestylebony:Keep praying and believing it will work out hopefully. Miracles still happen nevertheless. God's grace. |
@rimz28, plz, Biko, ejoor, yakuri, abeg try to read this thread very well so that you learn from other people's experience. Don't come here crying Wolf once smitten. |
freestylebony:Pls if you have any other admission, kindly use it to book, this dates you are calling, though not specific seems a bit late for visa appointment. |
peemyke:There seems to be a bit of difficulty in getting dates using Lagos more especially if your enrollment deadline is september or early October, and that's why we advocated the use of Abuja. This implies you need to smartly fill your form to bear a valid Abuja address as well as your CV. Your visas will be sent to the address you indicated at the self addressed envelope you submitted along other documents for the interview. |
Swithoni:Oga I don't know what else to tell you, I believe a word is quite enough for the wise. All the very best. |
sherif25:And why are you making such enquires If you know your actions will not spoil anything. you would have waited to see the outcome before asking this. It's been said over and over again, guys read and learn from other people's experience so that you won't get yourself worked up, how many times have we debated about this stuff here, if am not mistaken almost on a daily basis. we suggested if you know your enrollment is September or probably early October, it will be better you use Abuja as your residence address to get a date at least. Now you want to abuse the process and create more problems for other applicants who are aspiring to get admissions after all the long waiting. Pls be guided. |
Gent001:35mm by 45mm. please make sure your head covers up to one third (1/3) of the entire picture size. cheers |
@ekykool, I thought I sent you a sample of a detailed description which you are expected to modify as it relates to your school. Your transcript will not show how the cgpa is calculated. And they need this description with other relevant details. |
austinelex:if you have been reading pages from this thread, you will not have yourself worked up as you are doing now. it's always been advised severally to read, but it's unfortunate the reverse seems to be the case. The information contained here is a true goldmine of which you will harness to your own benefit. Take it as a point of duty to read pls. As for your question, kindly contact honourableseyi on this thread. all the very best. |
@yungsholly, yes I have done my interview. (May 15). |
