I am actually planning to present a SL during my visa interview tho I used blocked account opening confirmation to book for date due to the unavailability of the SL at that time.... I hope it won't be much of a problem?
I don't think that will poise any problem so to speak. The only problem will probably be when you submit the block account opening confirmation during the interview and later use sponsorship letter for the proof of the required funds.
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by Eldeee(m): 6:09pm On Jul 05, 2018
@oversworld, I was actually told by the visa officer who interviewed me not to present a sponsorship letter since I came with a block account opening confirmation, he even asked to enquire severally and adviced I shouldn't try it at all. so I don't know why he said so. Probably there is something about the use of sponsorship letter we really don't know.

Pls if there's anyone here who presented block account opening confirmation and later use sponsorship letter for funding successfully, kindly share with the house how you went about it, so that others in this situation will learn.

thanks

@panelbeater, did you really go through the requirements of the course you intend applying for, as I can see there seems to be a mix up or probably you must have done the wrong thing along the line.

As regards this program, I will suggest you contact the course coordinator, let them know you are applying for msc and not bsc and moreover doing a German language course in Germany is very very expensive as you have seen for yourself, so you are the one to advice yourself if you possibly can do such.

I will also suggest you forget about winter application if this happens to be your very first start as you might likely not like the pressure you will face.Take your time and search for schools that suits your career development, go through their course contents thoroughly and more especially the course descriptions so as to understand what you're going for.

If you're also new here, spend your precious time reading through previous parts of this thread, spend less time on facebook if you possibly can.

All the very best.

Good morning house, please am new here and need an urgent advice. Choice of school. 2. If i could secure a job as a student during my stay and after school. Note: No travel experience yet. Thanks

Are you the person seeking for information on what to do or someone else. you made mention of your brother earlier and also made mention of you writing the school seeking for enrollment extension. My point here is consistency, don't get me twisted though.

As regards this issue, try as much as possible to see if you can convince the coordinator of the program to send an admission letter in PDF by email with a valid Abuja address which you will provide. reasons are there is every possibility for you to get an earlier date at the embassy in Abuja if you have an Abuja address unlike using any other address apart from Abuja which will land you at the Lagos consulate.

Try to explain in clear terms the challenges of getting an early visa interview date and plead to get a fresh admission letter with Abuja address to enable you or your brother enrol. All the very best.

@Eldee , I have sent the blocked account confirmation to embassy since 8 am but no response till now.. I learnt @cay24 got response after 2 hours of sending.

@cay24, pls can i pm u? oluwasessan@gmail.com.
@bellss, patience remains the key. Remember situations are not the same each day. There seems to be lots of applications ranging from student visa, tourist visa, family reunion etc which I believe the consulate will be very busy with. Give them some time, they might probably respond. If not send them a mail to get the acknowledgement of your BA confirmation. cheers

I stand to be corrected though, but I think this details is not required for the block account confirmation. This is for booking of student visa interview.

Motivation letter for university application, can it be the same as the one to be tendered at Germany embassy
I believe its quite different from the one you submitted to the school. If you take a closer look at the interview questions people post here, it addresses what they are looking out for in the motivation letter. But in all, google for samples of German student visa motivation letter, you will find some interesting samples that will guide you in preparing yours.

Seems you will be actively engaged in the geospatial industry. All the very best.

Can I use a local government scholarship as my proof of financial capability?
I doubt if it's possible, if they want to help you as per their pikin, let them pay in the money into your block account. Or better still get an influential person in your community along side your dad to talk to your local government chairman. Make sure you explain to them how the system works so that they can better represent your case.

Will that be acceptable?

Be careful lest you get your fingers burnt, and later come here crying Wolf looking for a quick solution. Good Morning house.... Please What are the likely interview questions for Bachelor's degree at the German embassy
Someone just pasted answers to your questions few days ago. it's quite unfortunate you guys don't read through this thread, always looking for sharp sharp solutions without making any effort.

Somebody also spent his time to explain how to search for answers to questions being asked here repeatedly, and still you don't want to utilize it.

Its quite pathetic I must confess. God help us

Abuja has already casted! Read back and you'll see the guy who used Abuja address but was delayed for 3 weeks only to be given Lagos after reapplying.

The embassy has already noticed we're abusing the Abuja option
It's quite unfortunate that some peeps have abused the system. it's possible maybe due to anxiety and fear, a lot things will be eroded off the minds of applicants. Take a closer look at the story, you can see the applicant has no weight in his or her argument which lead to this.

If the applicant said he or she recently relocated to Abuja which prompts the use for it, I guess they would have considered anyway. But apart from that, it's obvious guys are abusing the Abuja thing and that's not good for some others.

Guys make una wisen up. We always advocate READ, READ and READ this thread to learn from other people's experience. We also advocate you kindly share your experience so that several others will learn a thing or two from it. Don't just consume without giving back.

Shalom.

I have said this countless times. Abuja embassy is for Abuja residents. But if you must use an Abuja address, please make sure it's a valid address. Not forgetting the fact the you are going to fill your application forms and the expect the said Abuja address. Not just that, your visa will be sent to you to the Abuja address. And if you don't have an Abuja address, stick to your respective addresses and get Lagos. Don't just use Abuja because you're in dire need of interview date. Please let's be guided.
There seems to be a bit of difficulty in getting dates using Lagos more especially if your enrollment deadline is september or early October, and that's why we advocated the use of Abuja. This implies you need to smartly fill your form to bear a valid Abuja address as well as your CV.

Your visas will be sent to the address you indicated at the self addressed envelope you submitted along other documents for the interview.

So even if I don't live there I can use Abuja as residence? Wouldn't this cause issues along the line? Wouldn't want to appear dishonest and have the VO toss my things into a waste basket or something sad

I am making enquiry that doesnt spoil anything bro
And why are you making such enquires If you know your actions will not spoil anything. you would have waited to see the outcome before asking this.

It's been said over and over again, guys read and learn from other people's experience so that you won't get yourself worked up, how many times have we debated about this stuff here, if am not mistaken almost on a daily basis.

we suggested if you know your enrollment is September or probably early October, it will be better you use Abuja as your residence address to get a date at least.

Now you want to abuse the process and create more problems for other applicants who are aspiring to get admissions after all the long waiting.

Pls be guided.
