iamlimo: hmmm... well I'm not kinda a primitive tech oriented but I use Samsung GT- 5S839i, was a gift to my mum from my brother-in-law in the UK. Fell in love with it almost immediately I set my eyes on it so, I snatched it from her; running on Android 2.3.6 and I still get things done efficiently. My Ipad 3 really helps too but Im unconsciously attached to my Samsung and run my show with few apps such as:
Whatsapp: king of social messaging. whatsapp's support of android 2.1 keeps the app breathing on my phone
MX player: The right substitute for VLC player that I couldn't install. I discovered it when I was foolish #TeamVasline you knw what I mean I hardly use it nowadays cos I don't crave for those videos anymore.
UC browser: super download speed. men the UI/UX guys that designed that file downloading animation did a great job.
Opera 4.2: been rocking it since 2014, the offline functionalities works fine for me. Fast? NO! but still works fine. currently surfing nairaland with it
Facebook lite: The most humble but highly efficient app. I love it. Atleast half bread is better than none
YouTube: Hehe funniest app on my phone, works like a typewriter. Hehe it's the oldest version, couldn't update it because my play store has stopped working
Flashshare: Isakaba of all apps. just Flashshare those files. Works like a militant. Hehe
ThinkFree Office: helps me access, read, edit and save documents with ease.
I think that's all, wait let me check... ok thats all; the rest are pre-installed apps and it doesnt work. Please, can anyone help me with installing those kinda apps. Thanks. You're living in 2012. |

Acidosis: You're wrong.
Why is everyone running and hiding under the carpet because of a shameless tyrant?
People should learn to speak, act, and stand by their actions.
How can someone sponsor Fayose's campaign, and goes back again to deny such act because of a Fulani dictator?
The joke is on the buttlickers. History will only remember those who acted rightly or wrongly and stood to defend their acts. Buttlickers, puppets and slaves have no good record in History. Tyrant and fulani dictator? Do you even know the meaning of these words? I'll accept the fact that you're bitter and short sighted but the election is over and Buhari won, I expect you to accept the loss of your candidate and support the President with prayers afterall we're reaping the fruits of corruption in the last administration.Even in developed countries when politicians are probed they never resort this kind of threat, I'm not fayose's fan but I don't think blackmailing his sponsors will save him from this problem. |

Kenobus: You dont know what you are saying. GEJ did that road from Cele to Coconut. The work Ambode has done at berlet is just temporal. I salute him. All the work done by Lagos state from fashola would be swallowed by what GEJ did on that road, specifically on the face between Cele and Coconut. And what fashola did from mile 12 to ikorodu ( a federal highway) will swallow whatever GEJ did in the whole country. |

Reminds me of a friend who use Infinix Hot Note....... His phone froze & you know that phone's battery lasts die, he had to start praying cause the phone was on 93% when it happened. When My guy see say prayer no dey work for that kind thing, he go keep phone for under bed for 2 days. Your friend is obviously a noob maybe he lives in ijebu but next time it happens tell him to hold the power key for 10 seconds to reboot the phone. |
Phones › Re: 5 Reasons To Buy An Android Phone With A Removable Battery by Elebiju: 6:26pm On Jun 02, 2016 |
mutvy: To me, the third reason is the most important. I later learnt that it is a new strategy deviced by phone manufacturers to force buyers to buy new phone, indirectly boosting their sales and invariably preventing them from running out of business. They (Manufacturers) believe that once your battery has deteriorated, you have no option other than to change it. Another strategy on the way is SIMless phone to prevent robbery and easier identification. I disagree with the third reason because I changed my infinix note 2 battery two days ago and it was easier than you think. |

Mr. Nigeria, what have you done for Nigeria in the past year. You're just a waste and sucking up her resources like the leech that you are.
Just because you are living there in a comatose condition doesn't mean that you're contributing.
You should get on the dirty floor of your dilapidated hut and kiss the ground and thank people like me who send money home into the economy. You ungrateful snivelling cockroach.

Education › Re: Photos That Describe Words Used By Nigerians Only by Elebiju: 7:26pm On May 29, 2016 |
sugardad1: 8. Jara/Fisi This word refers to the extra someone adds to stuff you bought from them. Who doesn’t ask for jara in the market? I remember our neighbors in Ketu in the early 90's, Mama funmi will request for jara and fisi for everything she buys even if the fisi is just 10grains of rice, she always shouts at her daughter then " funmi ma ra ewa ni odo iya chinedu o ko ni fisi, losi odo iya wasiu ni yisa omotunde tori o ma fisi" the daughter will grumble before going to five streets ahead just to get the fisi that comes with a derica of beans. Nigerians still love jara and fisi till today even when we buy plots of land. |
