Learning starts from home; from the parents especially when they bring up their children through practical examples. If the one bringing up the child is a bitch for instance, what legacy will s(he) pass to the child. Children respond better when parents demonstrate what they desire from their children. Children themselves do not necessarily toe the line of their parents for various reasons. They take the ones they find suitable and discard the rest. For children to obey their parents, parents must also command the respect of their children. For instance, you give birth to a dozen of children that you cannot train from different mothers, you can't earn respect from such children because you now subject them to suffering and they have to fend for themselves to survive. Suffering children are open to various damaging exposure including people of questionable personalities. For the society to enjoy peace, proper parenting is key because the family is a reflection of the society, it is the microcosm of what is playing out at large. 3 Likes |

RIP to him! But first of all let's get rid of bet it can lead to suicidal thoughts especially this season. Hardship and frustration in the country are also sending people to early graves. What about the heartbroken perhaps from unhealthy relationships between the opposite sex, some people are not strong enough to cope with this. It might also be staged by his murderers. We ought to be able to decide for ourselves the right person for us based on our recent experience of havoc in the country. We should not forget in a hurry the extreme hardship that we have been through from the turn of this fraudulent administration to this day. The terrible ordeal that has sent many innocent Nigerians to early graves ought not to be forgotten like that. At this stage of our democracy, we should not be blindfolded by fraudulent campaign promises, electoral bribe or tribal sentiment. We need a capable leader (full of vitality and energy) who can deliver the dividend of democracy to Nigerians irrespective of tribe or ethnicity. We strongly need to get things right now so that we won't find ourselves in another messy state or to once again subject our little lifetime to undeserved hardship. |

Frustration is real in the land. Every year graduates are churned out of our tertiary institutions only to face the reality of unemployment. What about underemployment where you work below your dignity for a peanut. This is yet another dimension of the problem. We seem to underestimate the far-reaching effects of unemployment in our society. In a society where people are ready to work but have none in existence. You complete your education and go further either for professional certifications or for more academic qualifications all to no avail. You then start to learn vocational skills at your old age. You start up a trade yet no patronage the market is saturated. Then you come across someone who cannot spell his or her name excelling, spanning professors, doctors and professionals under his control. Is that not enough frustration already? Am not giving this scenario as a justification for people to embrace money ritual but to point out some background factors that may lead to it. We need to always anticipate problems before they emerge and find a way to solve them before they go out of hand. There's never going to be a time when a society will be without problems but by being proactive, not reactive, a lot of these problems can be checked. 11 Likes |

In the present situation of unprecedented economic woes informed by poor leadership and selfish aggrandizement of wealth people are now beginning to nurse criminal tendencies at an alarming rate. Ritualists have taken over the entire country. Cultists, armed robbers, bandits and what not have now pervaded our once calm and peaceful communities. In the end they are even confused how to use the money and lavish same in a silly spending spree, that's after wasting the lives and destinies of our unwarry and gullible girls by way of ritualism. In a short while they are consumed after this terrible life, where're they going? This generation is being punished for turning themselves against their God in their greedy lust for money. Will this stop women from following these ritualists all for the sake of money? The society itself deserves what is happening around them. Until we begin to condemn this quick rich syndrome among our youths and encourage good virtues, patience, perseverance, hardworking and high moral standards among them such ugly incidents will subsist. We must use the knowledge that we have to save ourselves otherwise there's going to be recklessness as youths are now ruthless in their search for money. God does not see things the way we see them. He's more concerned about our eternity in heaven rather than our transient existence here on Earth. God Himself, being a spirit, places more emphases on the eternal. In Genesis the Bible says the day you eat of the fruit of knowledge of good and evil you shall surely die. But did Adam and Eve die on the said day? no! Adam lived 930 years before he died. Adam's death had been spiritually decided before it was manifested. This is the way our world is operated. Our life had been scripted from the spiritual realm; we're only acting out the script. Jesus Christ came to a fig tree but found no fruit on it therefore He cursed it saying no one will eat from the tree again (the death of the tree was decided) but in the sight of the desciples around the tree is still alive. However, when Jesus and His disciples were coming back His disciples were amazed that the tree had withered. The wages of sin is death, though you're still alive you're dead spiritually. Like people would say, the person is only a walking corpse. But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, though you'll die one day but everlasting life awaits you once you die. |
