Ummm. Which Apple TV are u talking about? The one that has not been released? Or are u talking about the Apple TV streaming box? Dude Apple have not released their television set. Also xiaomi sells most of their phones in China while apple sells their phones allover the world, not just the USA. Xioami is up there because China has a population of over 1 billion , that is about 4 times more than the population of USA. Even at that the biggest phone manufacturer is still Samsung, followed by Apple. U need to have in mind that Samsung is the biggest manufacturer because they also sell low end cheap phones while Apple makes only premium phones. This is why Apple still makes more money than Samsung even though Samsung sells more phones.

For Apple to even be in top 5 in China says a lot, why is xioami or hauwei not in the top 5 phone manufacturers in the USA ? In USA iPhone is the best selling phone followed by Samsung. In Europe the most popular smartphone is Samsung galaxy s6 followed by iPhone 6s, where is xioami or hauwei?

Help me with this question sir , when did xiaomi and Huawei started making smart phones against when apple started . thank you .

U got to give it to Apple bro, no matter how much u try to counter. Apple did not make the first touchscreen phone, but the iPhone was the cornerstone of touchscreen smartphone which other OEMS try to beat. Apple did not make the first tablet, but when apple released the iPad in 2010, people laughed and said it is an overblown iPhone. But today the iPad is the tablet every other tablet try to beat. Whenever a new tablet is released, they compare it with an iPad and when people start comparing their products with a particular product, u know the initial product is doing something right. Apple did not create the first app store, but the apple appstore is the cornerstone of all appstores. What Apple did was make their own home made apps to be top quality thereby making it a cornerstone for all all developers. Microsoft also have some good apps like office, one note etc but lots of default apps in windows 10 mobile are still not up to par, so how do u expect developers to have interest when windows can't even make their own apps good.

Apple did not create the first streaming media, but when they released the Apple TV, every other streaming media companies had to buckle up. Apple did not make the first mp3 player but the iPod was a revolutionary product which killed most of the other mp3 players. Where is Sony Walkman today? It was murdered by the iPod.

There are lots of smart TV in the market today, but watch out when apple release their own smart TV then u will watch how every other TV makers will try to make the Apple TV a product to beat.

Funny guy , most of your points are valid . I was expecting you to trail the line of telecommunication where you can also pass your theory of apple coming to set the standard for companies like Huawei , Ericsson .....

I will stress this , the only thing apple is are good at are hand held devices till they prove me wrong .

- You must be someone that is very conscious about security even if it is obvious there is no one completely secure on the internet .

- Reading terms and condition give you the insight of possible issue in future , for example if a terms and condition reads 'allow application to have access to your phone drive ' you will not be suprise if you finally see some of the private information on your phone online .


NOTE: READING MOBILE TERMS AND CONDITION CAN SO MUCH DISCOURAGE YOU FROM DOWNLOADING AN APPLICATION BUT BELIEVE ME IT HELPS TO DECIDE WHICH APPLICATION YOU WANT TO KEEP ON YOUR PHONE .

I think the guy has been paid to defame the app by those companies and ppl that use short codes to make unsolicited calls to our lines for their adverts,so far the app can block them

Instead of your hasty remarks about me why not read and digest what I wrote before talking here ? I remember stating blocking of spam calls and message by truecaller as one of its advantage . I went further to say truecaller advantages outweigh its disadvantages.

If a person who has true caller on his phone saved your name as PLUMBER,that is what your number would be showing to anyone you try to call privately

once u type any number, truecaller searches the www to locate any name tagged with that number, even if u dont have the app. when it first came out it used my facebook name to link my number, and that made me remove my phone number from fb. and also if i have truecaller app on my phone and ur number is among my contacts, its still links you to its data base, even if someone elese with d app dials that ur number, it shows d name i saved it with on my phone.
for eg my mus still uses nokia touch phone (she prefers it for its simplicity and she has never had a smart phone) but if search her number in a strangers trucaller app, the name 'mum" appears.

it a nutshell we are all exposed to this.

Point noted , I don't want to go about writing epistle , trust nairalander , they would not read it .

Explaining what goes on behind the scene in crowd searching a particular number is another story .

Why then do you have an issue with people seeing who you are when they get your number?

Truecaller does not give out your number to anybody and doesnt have your email address either and gives location based on where you use your phone mostly...so i dont really know what you are complaining about or did you not read what the app does before you downloaded it?

And besides you dont have to signup or download the app for the truecaller users to identify you. See how it works for every user that downloads the app gives it access to their contacts; so whatever the person saved your number as on their phone is saved to the Truecaller database. SO if on my phone i save it as "Stupid Fool" and i have the app, then anyone that gets your number will see The fact is the only number that has no name tag to it on truecaller app is the number that has not been given to a truecaller user .Stupid Fool come up

Terms and conditions are always very long , I have a boss that taught me how to read terms and conditions before clicking Accept or sign.

The best explanation that can be given to truecaller is from the name itself true' caller ' . an apps that reveal the identity of a number... which is mostly name , location and sometimes address .

Truecaller is designed such that it access your entire contact and messages .it might have access to some other files on your phone , I don't know that for sure .


The advantage of truecaller outweigh its disadvantage ....... the blocking of spam calls,messages , unveiling the identity behind a number , the location a number is calling in from .
The major disadvantage of truecaller is that it is very very implicating , the very moment you gave a truecaller user your number , your private line becomes a public line , sorry but it is the truth .

The truecaller on my phone is a week old. Why I downloaded this application ? . everytime I give someone my number they are always like 'oh you are so so and so? , oh you school ....? 'You are from that state'? and I have this reflex "truecaller again!!!!". Whats the point?, everyone on planet earth can tell what my name is just by dialing it on a truecaller application , my hotline is not in anyway private .


The fact is the only number that has no name tag to it on truecaller app is the number that has not been given to a truecaller user .

I would advise you go for manual . A taxi driver is suppose to be a proffesional so the synergy of the gears and pedals should not be a problem to you . the fact that it allows for push to start is an advantage .
