Finland rejected that and said that under the European Convention On Human Rights, it cannot extradite people within the country to another country that has bad human rights record

The European Convention On Human Rights bars all European countries from extradition people to places where they face persecution, and it is determined by the countries Human Rights record. That of Nigeria is very bad

If people recall, when the war in Ukraine started, Finland applied to join NATO but was opposed by Turkey. Turkey demanded that Finland should extradite some Turkish activists who were based in Finland
