If such a provocative banner was posted by Christians, would the government, police , etc, have called to appeal to them? We certainly know that by now there would be chaos everywhere. |
This is very laughable and certainly intended to confuse their blind and bewitched supporters. Tony Okocha belongs to APC and Wike belongs to PDP. Tony Okocha threatened members of his own political party with expulsion, while in the same breath he praised Wike a member of PDP, an opposing party in his state. Truly some of these politicians are confused. His only reason for eulogizing Wike is self benefit. Unfortunately for him, his congress was not recognized. His pretence of ignorance is irrelevant now. APC continues to face the same challenge in Rivers state. |
Righthussle:Poverty has really dealt with this person. Sorry, you hear? |
Thankfully the evil fellows were arrested. Now there’s no chance ever again for them to become the evil millionaires that they planned. The native doctor can no longer practice, so his juju and charms have become worthless absolutely. |
I think that he sold the car and relocated out of the country. He had been planning it while the nephew trusted him. What a shameless and worthless uncle. |
Someone who was confused with figures and was tutored throughout the campaigns. Someone who has difficulty with understanding English. How will he help himself? Let’s see how he will do with a state broadcast. |
madridguy:That’s according to members of the only party to ever secure Nigeria the inglorious reputation of the poverty capital of the world. Maybe you quickly forgot that during the campaigns Adams Oshiomole continuously taught him the words to say. Irrespective of that the governor could not pronounce the words well. If English is not a prerequisite for leadership, why the struggles by Okpebolo to secure a masters degree? Abi na you write the project defence for am? |
tnerro1:VIO down? That’s not in Delta state. Everyday you find them in front of FMC and Grand hotels, Asaba. |
I thought the local governments had become somewhat independent? |
How e take write the English words of their appointment letters? After wetin e say at his budget presentation, we no fit talk again. |
Is it within their limits to make such demands? I mean the house of representatives. |
And they still parade themselves as members of the state house of assembly? |
Whatever the case, he certainly sprayed his way to jail if found by the law authorities! |
“Peaceful cities”? While the Russians bomb every part of Ukraine and turn them to war zones, they call their own cities peaceful? Yeye dey smell abeg. |
JagabanBorgu:Yes you do. There’s English language as a course. But with respect to your opinion, without English, you cannot write your projects. Hopefully you know that projects are written in English. You must wonder why a man who could not read or write, well nurtured by Oshiomole, passed through university. Or did he write in his native language? If he did, he better still could request to read to Edo people in his own language, rather than this monumental disgrace. |
Garfield what have you got to say about this? We are waiting for more embarrassing days like that from Okpebolo. - Addressing the state during Christian and Muslim celebrations. - Addressing the state on New Year’s Day. - Addressing the state on national days like Independence Day celebration. - Addressing the state if there if are crises. For now, let Oshiomole and Tenebe, just like Garfield here continue to play. |
ogaemma:Oshiomole did all! |
This Christmas will be horrible on the roads. The only beneficiaries of the checkpoints are the soldiers, police and their agents stationed there to collect bribes. A checkpoint recently was built between Oko junction and Asaba head bridge by soldiers. That checkpoint has become notorious for keeping a very long stretch of traffic, with the soldiers doing nothing but collecting bribes. The police checkpoint at the head ridge Asaba has been a complete disgrace for several years. The police men stand to forcefully and openly collect bribes from bus drivers, Okada drivers and truck drivers openly. They even give numbers as tags to the drivers after collecting bribes, so the drivers do no pay twice! That police station is absolutely needless and useless to the citizens. It is very clear why terrorists target and easily kill police personnel, who sworn duty is to use the checkpoints as personal businesses. The same goes for other check points in the east. They do not serve in any form to secure lives and property, but to enrich crooked officers posted there. Go to Obodoukwu, just before you get to the second Niger bridge, there’s a yellow fever police man posted there. All he does is to collect 200 naira openly from keke drivers. Right under the second Niger bridge there too after Obodoukwu, the armed police men forcefully collect bribes from keke riders plying Onitsha to Osommala. The check points are not needed please. |
Richtaiwo:No wonder you get plenty insults here. If not that you are a complete olodo, you’d not quickly forget the activities of gold miners in Osun state, which has lasted several years. |
We all know that. Even the agencies with the role of tackling corruption seem to revel in corruption, with officials receiving bribes in different forms to subvert the course of Justice. The police particularly is a complete disgrace to its the way some personnel openly receive or solicit bribes. For the entire security officials, their uniforms appear private businesses. Their guns serve as tools of intimidation and coercion. Customs at the borders make imports and exports hell with businesses. For every transaction, there is a cost to be given to them as bribe. Even those assigned to arrest crooked officials end up receiving bribes to let them off the hook. What about the ministries and parastatals. To carry files to the next table involves bribes. To see high ranking officials requires bribes. To secure contracts required bribes. WAEC and JAMB involve bribes. Even this ICPC official may be a bribe beneficiary. Trucks transporting food from the north to the south spend close to one million in bribes to give to all manners of security agents. The agents too are very shameless. The long traffic jam experienced on the highways are caused by bribe taking soldiers and policemen. Is the President willing to tackle corruption? Let’s wait and see. For me it is a doubt. During the campaigns, we saw money passing between him and his vice to someone. Can he be trusted to tackle corruption? We dey siddon look. |
Emir01:Are you reading from primary school story books? |
So sad. |
DomPerignon:Are you talking about the same north that supported Tinubu/APC to secure the Presidency in 2023 when it was the turn of the same SE? Are you talking about the same north that the SW claimed to be one with to secure 2023? Are you talking about the same north that partnered the SW to secure political power and set the national backwards? Did you read you comment properly before posting? Or better still did you not search for information on what you commented about? |
timibare:Definitely not from you school boy. Please help yourself first. |
timibare:Your mates also empower others in the little ways. How many have you empowered? Abi you no follow for person? |
madridguy:There is a solution. Please create your own Islamic version of DSTV, so that you would never be defiled. After all you are used to copying what Christians do. If DSTV chooses that as part of their contents, that’s their business. Is it too big for your religious group to create yours? If you cannot, then watch what you need on Ltv, Mitv or NTA. |
malcom1X:Simply remind them that that Trump is on the way. They only have between now and Jan 20 to make their evil remarks and moves. |
Ihebu4chelsea:Have that pity for yourself! |
Ihebu4chelsea:Truthfully, your generation of men are stupid, otherwise you’d not make such a remark. Certainly you are a single person. This discussion is not meant for you, except you want to learn. Get to talk about Chelsea matches and PlayStation for now with your age group. |
Stevenbright:Thank you very much. I also wish you to have that kind of brother who repays good with evil. |
Stevenbright:Are you part of the “Majority of us are really something else”? As for me, I am not. Where is the wickedness of the family please? Have you used the word “wickedness” because they all disagreed with the young man? Would you report your own sister in such a circumstance? Be honest with yourself. If someone in your family does so, will you not crucify that person? Where is it stated that the family agreed with the adulterous behavior? The family only disagreed with the report the young man made to the husband. Do you know that the family members would have been warning her too? Reasonable people get out from offenses, including adultery and move on with forgiveness. I think you too many youths with no marriage experience are here commenting. By the way, who says she was not grateful to her marriage? What if the same man forced her marry him? You all need to listen to married people and get some lessons on marriages and homes. |
