So what’s the impact on the citizens of all the states mentioned? |
vanitybutiwanti:The funds are still controlled by the governors. That’s one of the reasons for the struggle for LG autonomy. In all, the date 17th June is less than a month away. I do not see him leaving with anything. I see Fubara seriously giving Wike a run for his money over the so called structure. |
God1000:Nope. Many of those celebrating are his people who felt injured by the late President. Those who lost family and friends to certain draconian policies. |
What’s going on with Iran? |
pappilo:“… a woman who has a relationship with a married man against the wishes…”. You wrote the above? Did you read it before posting? Abeg go one side oga. |
We agree that Atiku and Obi are desperate. However we must not forget in a hurry that desperation was what got Tinubu to that position. Out of his frustration he shouted the now famous words “emi lo kan”. |
Very terrible. Who should we trust? Can people not find friends peacefully and joyfully anymore? Can people not travel to see friends who they meet on social media, enjoy themselves and return to their bases peacefully anymore? I pray they are found safely and in good health. |
pappilo:“ For a defamation case to succeed, the claim made will have to be false”. That’s why is it called defamation. I commented about the criminal aspect of it, to show that it is possible. Thanks. |
That “gigantic house” in that document caught my attention. The long and short of the matter was money. The man was “chopping alone”. Citizens really need to wake up and start holding these greedy men and women accountable for their misuse of public funds. |
JohnOkolo:But he won plenty titles with Chelsea. He made Chelsea known to the world. |
pappilo:Your last paragraph is an example of defamation. Please take your time to understand the word defamation. Criminal defamation can be proven in the case, if the offended party, in this case the girlfriend, has enough evidence. Do you know that any person who publishes any defamatory matter, is guilty of a misdemeanor and is liable to imprisonment for one year; and any person who publishes any defamatory matter knowing it to be false, is liable to imprisonment for two years. I am not a lawyer, but it is stated in section 375 of the criminal code act. Take your time to read it. If the offended is able to prove intended harm and actual harm, then the offender is in trouble. |
caye:Micah 7:7 - But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Matthew 12:21 “In his name the nations will put their hope” Hope is to look at the future with belief and assurance. A lot of hopeless men are long dead. Have some hope. |
Fantastic. That’s what we need to see. Moving forward! |
Mrtesso:Agreed with you. |
Let’s hope. We are in it already. The only choice is hope. |
vanbonattel:Na people like you dey fall inside gutter during raining season, with this kind talk. |
Fkmodhi:In 2014, GEJ tried to remove subsidy and BAT/Buhari/Wole Soyinka/Bakare, etc led the upheavals that ended it. Should I remind you that the quality of life was much better? Should I remind you that a bag of rice sold for 8,000, petrol @84, etc. The same Tinubu told all of you that subsidy was the worst thing to happen to Nigerians. Now Tinubu has on TV told you all that he removed subsidy. Do you buy petrol? Do you buy bread? Do you pay transport? Unfortunately for supporters like you, Tinubu has been paying the same subsidy since August last year and you all believe his stories. Is it that you all are bewitched? When will you lot ever wake up to the reality of APC locust years? When will you start holding leadership accountable for leading Nigerians into such misery, hardship and poverty. Dem take poverty do una? |
This is criminal defamation. First it is a criminal case. Next it is a civil case. The young lady can follow up. That’s very embarrassing. |
It has to be so. With all the money spent last season, Chelsea were no where to be found. Chelsea fans, get ready for the third term of Jose Mourinho. |
Wahala dey. |
Wahala dey. Will a potential return of Sanusi not end in crisis for the state? Will the sitting Emir agree to be deposed or returned to Bichi, his previous position, after having tasted the power and authority of the Emir of Kano? We have only been informed of those in favour of the change. What about those not in favour? Would they agree and take it lightly? We need peace in the Kano state and a wrong move would be very disastrous. What would happen if Sanusi continues his life with other assignments? He’s highly connected and quite wealthy. What’s happening with the present governor? Can he please stop further destruction and now proceed with making Kano better than what Ganduje left? |
Reality3080:Time waster. Poorly educated fellow. At least you. An have done shame with your poor education. Even some young school leavers are able to properly reason and communicate here. |
Reality3080:Are you not ashamed of the misfortune that your likes, with your irresponsible tribal votes, have plunged the entire nation into? People like you hang on the top of trains from Oyingbo to Alagbado, with no transport fare and no food to eat. Decent people are looking out for how to make life easier and getting whole families and communities out of the hunger that your votes cost the nation, but there you are calling out tribes. Are you that poorly educated? |
Very painful. Very terrible. Let’s hope that he can remedy some. |
This is shamelessness at its peak. The same set of people who opposed subsidy then with better life guaranteed, now turned around to introduce subsidy with far more higher rates and complete impoverishment of the citizens. Now they call it politics. If you still support APC at this point, your poverty has a passcode safely locked away with BAT. |
She thought it over after finding out her error. Unfortunately Oyibo no be like that. If they let go today, their attention would be fixed there. By the way, what do women truly want? |
Sotland:Cheers. |
arantess:One needs to discuss that with the landlord and come to mutually favourable terms. Do not forget that the meter is in the name of the landlord, for the use of the tenant. Discussing and agreeing reasonable terms should work for both parties. |
lululovesblue:Cheers. |
arantess:It is no longer the business of the landlord at that point. The landlord is responsible for structural issues. You are responsible for what has been provided for your daily use. Why not ask your landlord to change the bulbs when they are damaged? |
