That was very horrible. Unfortunately he got caught and started getting his reward already. He can take that face along to prison for now. His legs and body too must be in terrible condition. |
Now Fubara is building his own structure. Gently he’ll put them together in the local governments, state cabinet, SAs, SSAs, state house of assembly, etc. very soon members of the NASS will port to his camp. Wike too will not wait until 2027. Rivers state may experience very bloody elections in 2027, as Wike will move mountains to prove himself. |
Whose fault is it please? Why did they indicate interest in the job? All they can do is to drop it and let serious investors get into the business. We have had enough of the hard life from the DISCOs. |
Fantastic. Those are very popular on the roads. Now they can transport iron rods, cement, agricultural products and make plenty money daily. Many families through this have been lifted out of poverty. Hopefully the recipients can reciprocate the gesture to others in need. I see happiness all over Oduburu. Thank you to Chief Ifekudu. |
Thomthom:No wahala. |
brain54:It was never possible to travel from Lagos to Benin in two hours with such regular cars on the bad roads. Even with lesser “highway patrol” officers, no one could drive that super fast. You’d first get to Shagamu which too twenty minutes on the two lane road. Next to Ijebu ode in 30 minutes. Next to Ore in one hour. Next to Okada in 30 minutes and the last leg into Benin city in 20 minutes. With fast cars and speed living drivers, it was a minimum of 3 hours and half. Do not forget that bad roads, especially at Ogun state end, have been there for over forty years. It was much more pleasurable travelling on that road, when there were no herdsmen. You could drive happily at night, except for armed robbers too. Those were the military days and early days of the OBJ government. The rest is history, as politicians used that road to amass wealth with endless contracts. |
Mynd44:If she cannot produce a receipt; if she cannot show then the shop where she purchased the phone, she’ll end up with the accusation of being the thief. She’ll face jail time. The tracker helped our police do their job. It is unfair that you cannot find tracking equipments with the police. Basic needs are missing in this age of technology, making policing very difficult. |
helinues:Did you stay within the topic with your reckless comment? Or do you think that the direction of your comment was not clear? |
Thomthom:Stop disgracing yourself with your blind argument bros. If you read my comment very well, you would have seen the word “some”. How has the word “some” translated to “generalize”? Again, did you not read the word “peculiar” in my comment? If the state did not do the needful, how did it find out and weed out the ghost workers? Even the FG and all MDAs confront the same challenge. Single out corrupt civil servants who make life hard for the populace and confront them with the truth! |
KingExalted:“ Six directors and 222 other staff members of the Anambra State Local Government Service Commission…” Oga a little reading would have cleared it for you. It said ANAMBRA STATE LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICE and not “the whole Anambra state”. |
helinues:So you did not read the part where it mentioned 4,300 workforce? And you do not read where it said “ghost workers”. And you do not know that your state has uncountable “miracle centers”. Maybe shame would not permit you to mention the name of your state. |
Holding two civil service jobs and collecting salaries is such a shame. Some hold three jobs. Some hold two or more jobs in two different states, while getting their colleagues and friends to sign for them. The most corrupt people in the country are the civil servants. While they cry to the high heavens for increase in salaries, a good percentage of them take advantage of their positions to amass stupendous wealth. They show the politicians all the loopholes to use in stealing public wealth. This is not peculiar to one state. The bigger the state and its workforce, the bigger the wickedness of these civil servants. |
Abe hopes to use the platform of APC to achieve his dream of becoming the governor in 2027. While he aligns with Wike and Tony Okocha, Fubara will align with the others and use the same Wike’s system to secure victory in 2027. |
In Nigeria? That snake? Are you sure it was not somewhere in South America? |
Thundafireseun:If he’s not a governor, what do you want to call him. Those who insult him are politicians. Now they have lost their positions and have to stay hungry until 2027. That’s one way to prove that presently, he has the power. |
Judolisco:Unfortunately not now anymore. Wike has to wait until 2027. Wike’s group in the house shot themselves in the feet, with their resignations. Fubara will not be sleeping, knowing that he has to return in 2027. |
CorrectionFLuid:My comment should not be viewed myopically as tribalistic. I am sorry if my comment was misunderstood. I know that Rivers state is multi ethnic. I am not an Ijaw person either. But I just looked at it from the position of population strength. I know that other tribes have their grouse against him and would do everything to stop Wike. In all it surely must be a win win for the citizens of the state. We must hold our leaders accountable. Their fights, if it will not move the state forward, must not be the fight of the citizens. When we stand behind them, we must be sure that the expected victory must lead to the greater good of the entire state. |
The battle is getting hotter. Those who resigned, will Wike get them all federal government jobs? Are the positions reserved only for Wike and his people? Clearly Wike pocketed the entire state. All the positions in the state belonged to him. How he managed to achieve that is shocking. That’s what he called his structure. When he employed 200,000 SAs before the election, this is exactly what he was driving at. Fubara, being part and the arrow head of the structure, has moved to completely dismantle him. With Fubara as an Ijaw man and with a population advantage, Wike may not recover from the loss. |
OP are you sure that you are not deceiving yourself? |
CapitalBank:Do not mistake migration to Lagos as migration to the SW. Other states develop at about the same pace. Lagos is way ahead of others, not just by chance, but by careful and systematic injection of funds, in its status as the administrative and commercial capital. We expect there to be migration towards areas where people feel that they can earn better living. Insecurity festers because it is driven by the same leaders. We have been told that several times. The same leaders cause their citizens to relocate from their areas. The same happens in Ondo, with the evil herdsmen taking over forests in generally peaceful areas, killing and maiming citizens. Everywhere in the country has its own challenges. In all, let’s not deceive ourselves with the level of tribal insults and threats to violence in the minds of the citizens. It was not like this, until 1999 and the recent times. Our politicians have built hatred, bad thoughts and wickedness into the minds of people, in the name of politics and leadership. The disagreements were not this pronounced, even though they somehow were existing. Now again, the same politicians tell their people to think home or carry their investments to their various states, just in case things go wrong in the future. First we must talk of reuniting the citizens. Short of that, Gbenga Daniels’ projections are meaningless. |
With the way politicians play with the emotions of the citizens, inciting them tribally,’will there be any Nigeria by 2050? Nigerians have advanced deeply with the thought of going their separate ways. There are no clear efforts at reconciliation. Again, with the amounts getting looted daily, what will they used to build the region properly? If they had spent money properly in the last 50 years, Nigeria should be like Malaysia, at least. |
Exceed15:Exactly. He had the choice of purchasing a car worth 23 million and less or the one that brought such disgrace to him. Seeing him jump over that iron fence made him look like an experienced armed robber. |
So sad. They should tell that story to illiterates only. |
Sleekfingers:Youth with no experience. |
There are eight of them. They are all part of Wike’s “structure”. Their political careers may be in jeopardy. However, I see that they have been getting federal appointments. Fubara will prevail, as I perceive. |
Ah |
NaijaRoyalty:What’s special? Ask any security man about such a pen, particularly those of the DSS. |
And what would happen to God’s decision? Life and power belong to God only. |
See how he placed his filthy hands on the lady’s bum? His hands and dried head make him appear like a bricklayer. I cannot believe that he may be out after 17 years. People like him should be sent to Yemen, Afghanistan, Iran or Iraq for judgement. |
What do you expect? Having been defeated at home by Arsenal home and away. Arsenal always finds a way with Tottenham. But Tottenham should try to win the league once too. Abi no be ball dem dey play too? |
Hanging from a crane? Such wickedness! |
Now there are certain stars that he can no longer buga to. All the stars he abused would turn around to call him “elewon”. That would be too much o. |
