So if APC supporters vote for their candidate, they do so for the love of their party. If the candidate defects, he must drop the seat and continue with his new party.

He did not make the mistake of telling the whole world the source of his humongous wealth.

He made the mistake of insisting on a southern candidate without telling his fellow governors that he was the candidate.

He made the mistake of contesting against Atiku in the primaries. Having lost he worked hard to damage the chances of his party.

He made the mistake of belittling the person of Okowa.

He made the mistake of joining BAT for a better Nigeria, where he can wield the power to destroy his enemies.

All his political career, he’s been antagonizing everyone who does not fall in line with him.

Wike started losing the respect of many of those who loved him since last year!

Fubara apparently will show his the same power of the governor that he showed to Amaechi and the others while he was the governor.

Now the business of the state can continue. The illegal 25 now out of the way!

Some people are really funny, I'm not a fan of wike but I can bet he would have still attained the level he is at the moment because he paid his dues with service. He fought for every Governor before him and they in return bless him by either appointment or recommendation so you see respect the man.

I'm a big fan of Amaechi but he(Amaechi) was in Ghana when wike was going to Abuja fighting for his mandate, in return he was rewarded.

He fought to deliver Rivers state for Goodluck Jonathan and in return was rewarded as a governor, now he fought to deliver Rivers state for Tinubu and he has been rewarded so give the man his respect he has really worked hard to get to where he is today.

What battles has Sim fought to be a governor? Can Sim single handedly deliver one LGA for his party? Omoh make we see as all this things go finally play out sha

Why did Wike hide Fubara in the government house?

Why did Wike take interest in a civil servant at level 14? What was he looking for, of all the people? What was he doing when he was protecting Fubara, the then accountant general of the state? What was Wike covering when he kept Fubara in the state house, away from the EFCC, who were looking for him? What has happened to the 483 billion state funds, which is the matter that Fubara was sought for and someone hid him until he became the governor?

If Fubara was arrested by the EFCC, where would Wike be today.

How many of those who worked for Wike to become the governor, remain his friends? Wike was the chief of staff to Amaechi. How did he become enemies with Amaechi.

Nigerians must be wary of these kind of politicians.

You can't build an illegality with illegality, read the part c of the same act you quoted. The constitution still gives a caveat, that the lawmakers could still employed to defend themselves, the caveat was '' if there is a division in the political party that sponsored them '' they could still claim there was division. So the reason we said the court must give a pronouncement that is how the law operates.


See if anyone killed a person today the person will still be presumed innocent until the court convicted him, despite the fact that we all knew that murder case attracts Capital punishment

Now the question is this:

Was there any division in Rivers state at the time? Is there any division in Rivers PDP as of now? The answer is a capital NO. It was politics. Why did Wike not defect with them? The answer simply is that Wike plays the destroyer inside PDP, while regretting not handing over Rivers to APC straight away at the governorship election.

If there is any illegality, it is the 25 currently, who should get the title honorable out of their names, going by the constitution.

2. Besides their word of mouth, is there any other evidence that they are now members of APC?
Do they have APC cards?
Why if they aren't members yet but are only saying it?
Can it be proved in court that they are now members of APC?

1. Do you remember a certain Edison Ehie? Presently he is Fubara’s chief of staff. He was the speaker when the 27 defected to APC. He wrote the notification to INEC declaring the seats of the 27 vacant. INEC acknowledged that document but did not act on it yet. PDP agreed absolutely that having defected to APC, the 27 were no longer their members. For the pendency of this matter, they cannot return to PDP.

2. Their defection was not just by word of mouth. They became card carrying members of APC. We saw them all rejoicing and carrying APC brooms, while declaring their membership of the party.

Lastly, evidences of their membership abound and are awash on social media spaces.

Air peace, thank you for rescuing us from the embarrassment of Hadi Sirika. At least Nigeria has an airline on the London route. Hopefully other airlines can make it too, so these foreign airlines do not keep making Nigerians suffer high costs.

YPP must follow up to reclaim their seat. The seat belongs to the party and not Ifeanyi Ubah.

Again, INEC must wake up to its responsibilities. The constitution is clear on it and INEC without delay must declare the seats vacant, once they get the information from the affected party.
