A very old story that been in circulation for close to ten years! |
Putindbutt:“ That is unconstitutional because what the constitution says is that everything concerning revenue, whether it is tax or non-tax revenue such as the levy in the cybersecurity act, must pass through the federation account for it to now be appropriated by the national assembly. “So, if the same national assembly makes a law bypassing the appropriation process and putting money in the hands of an agency, that is unconstitutional.” Can you explain the above in simple terms please? Some of you have mastered suffering so much that any effort to get you out, you fight your helper. Your ignorance stinks please. Femi Falana made the same observation and as we know, he should approach the court to fight it. While you were unborn in the 80s, Olisa Agbakoba was a big lawyer. He started the CLO, fighting for the rights of every sane Nigerian. He became a Senior advocate long before you were born. Learn to use appropriate words. Do not use social media as a cover to insult people who are way ahead of you in life. |
yarimo:Obi was born into a wealthy family. Obi is an exceedingly wealthy and comfortable man. Obi is married with children. Obi has been a bank chief Obi has several qualifications Obi has been a governor Obi has contested the Presidency of this country Obi will contest and win the Presidency Obi is physically fit Obi is mentally fit You are a young man who does not know what your future holds You may be suffering abject poverty and with no possibility of solutions Aside from insults you are empty You cannot engage anyone on a reasonable discussion You are broke as a Belgium rat You are single with no shishi to get a wife You must be from a poor home Only people with poverty mentality think that others suffer poverty like them. Between you and Obi, who is it well with as you can see? How e wan take better for you so? |
renthrefhny:Not worse but better. Obaseki has no house of assembly! |
SpiritualWealth:Great! |
Which of the elders please? Now even the elders appear to have factions. The authentic elders are with Fubara. |
SpiritualWealth:Thank you |
Freshtruth:Six days to go and the cup will be resting at the Emirates bro! |
Otamendi99:Please follow up with political events and see what’s happening at the PDP end. |
athaboi:How old were you at the time when labour was a serious union? |
They must be hunted down and made to suffer the same fate. |
Saao:“ Prince Igwe had reportedly panicked at the sight of the dog and stumbled, leading to a fall. Seemingly incensed by the incident, Prince Igwe returned shortly thereafter with an armed companion, unleashing a volley of gunshots towards Princess Joylin Mateno Ohoro’s property. The situation escalated further when Princess Joylin Mateno Ohoro’s young son unwittingly emerged from the house during the gunfire, adding to the already fraught circumstances. Despite desperate pleas for calm from Princess Joylin Mateno Ohoro, Mr. George Ezenwa, and concerned neighbors like Mr. Henry Nelson, Prince Igwe allegedly continued to threaten violence, even menacingly vowing to target other dogs in the neighborhood”. Dogs are not meant for cages at night only. Dogs are meant to move around every time, either as man’s friends/companions or for security. When they are taken out, they must have their leashes on them, for safety. Some people simply hate dogs and they are not be blamed. The man probably is one of those people, but we are not in the position to judge, having not heard from him too. Now let’s agree with the report that the man panicked and stumbled. However nowhere in the report was it stated that the man was either attacked or bitten. My grouse is the use of the weapon, firing with people around. What would have happened if the bullets hit either those they had issues with, or a passerby? |
Saao:The dog ran out in excitement seeing the owner. The man was shocked seeing the dog running out. However was that enough reason to get out his gun and start shooting in all directions? In the name of scaring the dog, what if his bullets hit anyone around? That was absolute misuse of his firearm. It should be taken off him. Firearm owners are trained to be calm and not quick to pull the trigger. |
walex2:Now you have understood it all. However please stop going around in circles in the face of the obvious. Let’s not encourage leaders to make defection their habit. The only reason for defection is for self purposes and not the people. So if APC supporters vote for their candidate, they do so for the love of their party. If the candidate defects, he must drop the seat and continue with his new party. Those who keep their seats use what is called “ogboju”. They make the laws. They must not break them. |
Macphenson:You forgot to prescribe some doses of BITTER OBI herbal mixture for the fellow. He desperately needs some doses to recover his memory. |
Sure. There are plenty people like that worldwide, both male and female. What about nymphomaniacs? It happens to animals too. In those days, my friend used to have one ekuke dog. Just bring the dog massage the prick small and any female dog within sight would be in trouble. If that female dog ran into a hole, it must follow. Infact make the dog fall down while doing, this dog would never stop. One day we got tired. From Apapa we took the dog in a car to Isolo and dropped it off. We were happy thinking that was the end of seeing the dog. The next morning na the dog noise with one female dog wake us up. We tired. How the dog located the area and return was a mystery. |
Wike’s been playing eye service to BAT. He tries to show that he has absolute power and control in Rivers state. Unfortunately that was not BAT’s method in Lagos. There has always been a GAC where all the stakeholders meet and agree along with the suggestion of Tinubu, until now that he has become the President. Hopefully Wike will learn some lessons in politics and power in Rivers state with the recent developments. Quoting the late Chuba Okadigbo, Wike did not properly read the political barometer, neither did he do the proper political arithmetic in the state. Once he loses grip, he’s out of the cabinet. |
hooklover:He made the mistake of chasing Umahi out of PDP. He made the mistake of joining the same Umahi in an APC cabinet. He made the mistake of chasing Obi away, while collaborating with Atiku. He made the of holding a meeting with fellow governors in Asaba, without informing them on his hidden ambition. He made the mistake of purchasing nomination forms for the entire political office holders in Rivers state. He did not make the mistake of telling the whole world the source of his humongous wealth. He made the mistake of insisting on a southern candidate without telling his fellow governors that he was the candidate. He made the mistake of contesting against Atiku in the primaries. Having lost he worked hard to damage the chances of his party. He made the mistake of belittling the person of Okowa. He made the mistake of joining BAT for a better Nigeria, where he can wield the power to destroy his enemies. All his political career, he’s been antagonizing everyone who does not fall in line with him. Wike started losing the respect of many of those who loved him since last year! Fubara apparently will show his the same power of the governor that he showed to Amaechi and the others while he was the governor. |
Now the business of the state can continue. The illegal 25 now out of the way! |
allen113:Why did Wike hide Fubara in the government house? |
Why did Wike take interest in a civil servant at level 14? What was he looking for, of all the people? What was he doing when he was protecting Fubara, the then accountant general of the state? What was Wike covering when he kept Fubara in the state house, away from the EFCC, who were looking for him? What has happened to the 483 billion state funds, which is the matter that Fubara was sought for and someone hid him until he became the governor? If Fubara was arrested by the EFCC, where would Wike be today. How many of those who worked for Wike to become the governor, remain his friends? Wike was the chief of staff to Amaechi. How did he become enemies with Amaechi. Nigerians must be wary of these kind of politicians. |
walex2:Now the question is this: Was there any division in Rivers state at the time? Is there any division in Rivers PDP as of now? The answer is a capital NO. It was politics. Why did Wike not defect with them? The answer simply is that Wike plays the destroyer inside PDP, while regretting not handing over Rivers to APC straight away at the governorship election. If there is any illegality, it is the 25 currently, who should get the title honorable out of their names, going by the constitution. |
ddippset:Please look this: https://businessday.ng/politics/article/no-remedy-for-defected-25-rivers-lawmakers-pdp/?amp |
ddippset:Thanks for your questions. 1. Do you remember a certain Edison Ehie? Presently he is Fubara’s chief of staff. He was the speaker when the 27 defected to APC. He wrote the notification to INEC declaring the seats of the 27 vacant. INEC acknowledged that document but did not act on it yet. PDP agreed absolutely that having defected to APC, the 27 were no longer their members. For the pendency of this matter, they cannot return to PDP. 2. Their defection was not just by word of mouth. They became card carrying members of APC. We saw them all rejoicing and carrying APC brooms, while declaring their membership of the party. Lastly, evidences of their membership abound and are awash on social media spaces. |
Air peace, thank you for rescuing us from the embarrassment of Hadi Sirika. At least Nigeria has an airline on the London route. Hopefully other airlines can make it too, so these foreign airlines do not keep making Nigerians suffer high costs. Nigerians are known to be very hospitable. Politicians turned Nigerians against each other. The reception of the Prince and his wife showcased the now hidden true nature of Nigerians. Hopefully we can have better leaders who can change the minds of the citizens for greater love. |
The weapon must be retrieved from him at once by the police. One cannot define his use of a gun at that point as “self defence”. He absolutely lost control of his temper, probably arising from the embarrassing fall. It definitely was not a deliberate act and did not call for the use of a gun. And what would he have said if he shot dead any of those appealing to him to cool his temper? |
RickyJesus:“ a certain region has monopoly of speed”. And these are your words. How does the word “among the worst” equate to “a. certain”. If English is too difficult for you to understand, you may write in your native language, if you can. Mumu! |
4godsake:You are not up to date! |
Otamendi99:YPP must follow up to reclaim their seat. The seat belongs to the party and not Ifeanyi Ubah. Again, INEC must wake up to its responsibilities. The constitution is clear on it and INEC without delay must declare the seats vacant, once they get the information from the affected party. |
Well everyone and their choice! |
Curious345:Who says? Did you ever travel on the road when it was very smooth riding? When did you start traveling in the road please? Or to you the terrible state of the road fell from above? |
RickyJesus:That’s how you lot misinterpret issues all the time. Show me where I singled out a region for having monopoly of speed. Are you sure that you do not ave issues with understanding English? |
