BadBradley:Court of appeal to throw out the ruling of the Supreme Court? That order of the high court simply complied with the ruling of the Supreme Court. The moment they ported to APC, they lost their seats. The ruling of the Supreme Court is not binding on just one party, but all. Where did you guys get such wrong interpretation from? |
HeadNigga:I tied them in one nylon and kept them safely. Once Iin a while when I look at my things and stumble on them, I feel good. I have actually set them aside as some form of memorabilia. |
Fubara on ascendency. Having vacated their seats, they should simply pick up their things and return to their personal houses. Under his watch as the governor, Wike would have revoked their Cs of O and destroyed their personal houses. Martins Amaewhule and his co-sojourners should relocate to their personal homes. |
Notice how APC supporters just blab? Notice how they are so confused while trying to defend the indefensible? They must admit that BAT caused problems on his Inauguration day. His joy caused him to make the announcement earlier than it could have happened. We are in it. We can see how the same IMF has turned around to pretend like saints? There are issues that must be handled properly. How can one convince BAT and Umahi, along with their blind supporters that the coastal road is not the immediate need of Nigerians. We must see serious actions against terrorist, bandits and land grabbers. We must see serious actions against poverty in the land. The 15 trillion or so, if channeled into the health sector, should deal with medical tourism. We must see action against oil stealing. We must see government uniting citizens. |
Now the governor shows his power. Wike long would have even thrown the 27 out of their own personal houses, not to talk of their quarters. Now the court holds them by their testicles. They cannot continue with their illegitimate actions. Again they cannot live in the quarters, neither can they sit in the government house. The governor has declared them persona non grata. He told them three days ago that they were nothing and now he has showed it to them. Wike fought against godfatherism and made himself hypocritically a godfather. His greed affects his so called structure. Every governor wants to have their structure as the state party leader. I think Fubara must be allowed to run his state. However he must also run with respect for all and dignity. |
I must purchase one. I had three of them for close to ten years. Infact people begged me to drop them even though I had other phones. I still have the three. If there are awards given for usage of Nokia 3310, I should get one. |
All options appear to have failed. What can government next perform? All hands must be on deck, even though we know that some wrong persons are in position of authority. What has happened with stealing of crude oil? Has round tripping been effectively dealt with? With Dangote operating, has the need for forex reduced? What must be done to help? |
Certainly it will be difficult to get him bail on liberal terms. Again, it is hoped that he made friends with Kings, Senators and civil servants on grade level 17 in his state. Those are required to sign his bail bond. Natasha Akpoti cannot be counted as one because they are political enemies. We are still waiting to see an example set with one looting ex governor. They generally seem to get away with their loot. |
bdon123:Allegation of dubious persons using Binance for: Money laundering Terrorist financing Currency speculation Market manipulation Distorting the Nigerian economy Weakening the Naira against other currencies Allegations against Binance: Tax evasion Non payment of Value-Added Tax (VAT) Company Income Tax Failure to tax returns Aiding customers to evade taxes through its platform Do you know that last November, Binance pleaded guilty to violating U.S. anti-money-laundering requirements and agreed to pay a $4.3 billion? Have I answered your questions? |
seunmsg:But how did you avoid the screenshot at the heading of the guy cheekily telling Obi that he is as still campaigning after the election? He has no business with Obi. He’s business rotates between APC, PDP and finally NNPP. You have denied him, now that he has killed his friend because of money. Anyway, for a clearer understanding, I prescribe one bottle of BITTER OBI herbal mixture for you to be taken thrice a day for one week. |
Zinox manufactures computers! They’ve been doing so for over 20 years. That’s Leo Stan Ekeh. Cars are manufactured in Nigeria. We may called them assembly plants, but in reality they are manufactured at various companies here. We also have trucks and armored vehicles. Unfortunately corruption, unfair competition and high taxation would never let them thrive. |
He fooled himself. Party secretariats are not motor park garages where executives are changed by guns and knives. He has no place there and his actions are null and void. |
What an idiot. |
FEROTEX never built an airport before and yet received such humongous sum into their account. If there was no collaboration or agreement, why was the money neither returned to state government treasury or reported to EFCC for necessary action. Please set politics aside and move the state forward. |
Well he’s not going anywhere. The same northern elders supported him in the name of M/M ticket believing that he was the most qualified. They must be patient with him to see how it plays out. They were patient with baba go slow for eight years. The ticket will not get to them until another seven years. |
Wicked friend. Very sad. Very horrible. What an evil friend. A wicked friend who has lost his freedom and control over his own life. For such a vicious way of killing his friend, Shariah law must be applied on him and his gang. And the deceased, with such a beautiful car and 3m. Why spend such amount to get into FIRS? The answer simply would be corruption? The belief that it would be looting bazaar for him in FIRS. He lost all, unfortunately. In all, beware of evil friends who stick around in the name of relationships. This fellow was never a friend. He was always jealous of his friend’s achievements and was looking long ago for ways to kill him. |
These are those called “faceless people”. The same people who quickly write petitions to the sane EFCC in favour of themselves and clients when they lose their monies. The man on the right though. Why does he have such round shining head with bulging eyes? Put that man as a local government chairman and hear how much he’ll steal. The black one on the left looks like a public school student. The one in the center has ears like a ceiling fan! |
vengertime:That’s sentimental please. Bitcoin is banned in many countries. Do you want to call China, Russia, Turkey and India 5th world countries. Bitcoin is banned in Iran, Bolivia and even Ghana. Do you think that they do not know the problem with Bitcoin? When central banks of such countries say that Bitcoin subverts economies, do you think they are foolish. Where do you find the biggest underground crooks, if not such countries already mentioned? It is allowed in Japan, the U.K., and most other developed countries, but many countries disallow on the basis of the effect on their economies. In the U.S., the IRS considers bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies property, issuing appropriate tax treatment guidelines for taxpayers. However Nigeria, just like Sierra Leone, Algeria and Morocco say no. If the laws of countries say no, the citizens have the responsibility to obey until proven otherwise. |
Timi Frank said it all. Wike and his group of 27 should let Rivers state some peace. |
Getting bail from the court will be very hard for him. He certainly will get very stringent bail terms. If he hides in the government house, he cannot stay like that for the next four years. EFCC will get him someday. |
HIGHESTPOPORI:The same effect intended. Do not forget that one was jailed last week in America. Changpeng Zhao, the the billionaire founder and former chief executive of Binance, was sentenced on Tuesday to four months in prison after pleading guilty to violating U.S. laws against money laundering at the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange. |
So the official quarters of the 27 illegitimate HOA members would be removed and they return to their personal homes. The governor is their landlord as already expressed by him. They need to quickly move on with their families, otherwise they risk becoming homeless soon. Unfortunately our dear Rivers state is currently suffering constitutional and political troubles. |
bdon123:Absolutely no damage. When people make efforts to sabotage your economy, you do not make friends with them. With the naira on a free fall and the citizens lamenting the multiplier effects, you do not hold friendly handshakes with the perpetrators. If they were invited by the police, would they have honored it? Granted that corruption has battered the image of the country, you do not open your eyes and watch citizens of other countries systematically impoverish your people, while they remit the returns to develop theirs. Certainly it was not a business meeting. It was a meeting for them to explain their roles and mode of operation. Can you justify the escape of the executive presently held in Kenya? If his hands were clean, why did he run away? Labeling a dog a bad name (in this instance the house committee on crime), does not eliminate the fact that cryptos have negative financial effects? Binance must explain how they easily sabotage the naira through foreign exchange. |

Na beards be that or black nose cover under the mouth so. By the way, who does the young man look so much like an agbero? His ears look like elephant ears. His teeth look like someone who smokes “bush”, if you know what I mean. He does not look like the kabiyesi, except he wants to claim “na my mama tell me”. |
Fraudulent Nigerians are presently serving jail terms in America. More Nigerians who get caught are sent to jail. Why’s he calling the world to help him out when he’s been caught subverting the economy of the entire nation. If you subvert the US economy, you’ll spend your entire life in jail. One of their executives is presently in jail, having admitted the guilt. The only way to get him was the fake invitation to the business meeting. If the police invited him, would he have come? He should shut his mouth and face the consequences of his actions. |
Throwback:The day they decamped, they lost their seats - per Supreme Court ruling. Continuing as members of the HOA, in the name of “political agreement”, is meaningless. Whether the case is in court, per PDP, also is immaterial, knowing the declaration of the Supreme Court and the constitution. What is clear is that Fubara recognizing them, after meeting with Tinubu, was worthless, as Tinubu’s solution was worthless in the face of constitutional provisions. Their seats became vacant automatically, the day they decamped to another party. All decisions reached by them are as used tissue paper. When the house reconvened after the so called political solution, all the members returned. Do.not forget that while the crisis of suspension lingered and the 4 broke away, a court in Rivers state recognized Ehie as the speaker of the state HOA. Ehie’s resignation has not removed the fact of his recognition. Or at least I have not read that. The problem however remains that the 27 are legally no longer members. They allowed themselves to get into that unnecessary political battle. The immediate problem that needed to be tackled by Fubara, was the threat by Amaewhule, his group and APC Rivers state to impeach him. Now he has his own CJ and speaker. How can that be carried out? Again, without doubt, all the decisions and pronouncements in the house by Anaewhule are worthless going also by the law. It may be slow, but the courts will declare them so. Unfortunately, Fubara has found his feet after his election victory. He knows the power of the governor. Now he shows that power. He can pull down their quarters and force them to vacate. The mace in their hands is useless. He’s going to treat them as impostors. In all, Wike must stop this issue of “my structure”. Nobody is taking away his structure. He fought godfathers, including Buhari. Even though he brought Fubara, he must let the governor face the job. |
vengertime:If the central bank of every nation is not in control, what do you expect of the economy? That’s why it is called the central bank. Bitcoin is just there to make life harder for the economy and knowing the volatility and danger, every nation must take steps to protect their citizens and economy. Bitcoin cannot be regulated, it is used by criminals, transactions can delay and do not forget that your wallet is not safe. Once you lose it, you may commit suicide. |
We see the FG agreeing with the HOR on this. One again wonders why the officials are on the run, if their hands were clean. You cannot sabotage an entire nation and expect a standing ovation. Again, the allegation against the committee on financial crimes appears a ruse and diversionary. Except there is clear evidence backing the claim, it must be worthless. With the escape from custody of one of their officials, the crimes alleged are well known to the public and look believable. The committee stated that Binance officials never appeared before them. Except they met privately, then something must be wrong with Binance somewhere. Subverting the economy of an entire nation must not be taken lightly, so the allegation of demand for US 150 m, does not make any sense, knowing the seriousness of the matter. It is already an EFCC and DSS matter and well beyond the reach of the committee, or their ability to demand bribe to stop their arrest and prosecution. |
favor914:Your likes are too many on social spaces like this, who are either still in the secondary school, or have only recently completed your SSS3. Your poor words gave you away as a poorly educated person. I advise you to shut up your mouth, stop polluting social media spaces, read comments and learn, otherwise it will be very difficult for you to have common sense. |
