TimeManager:A notable Nigerian leader has roots in Niger republic and you supported him for eight years. His regime was called the locust years. The other one in Kaduna was a Governor who financially settled the same people from Mali. Are you not aware anymore. If bandits run to Mali and Niger and are settled by those that you support, what should we call you? Definitely that’s hypocrisy. It means that you are suffering and smiling. |

Akpakomiza2:There you go again oga. Where is the evidence that he is a Mauritanian? By the way, if he was a Mauritanian, why was he heavily involved in Nigerian elections? Again, we all hear and see daily, people of Nigerian descent, who contest and win elections all over the world. Has their Nigerianness reduced their citizenship of those countries? We law claim to then as our people, but when it is politically expedient, we claim that fellow Nigerians are no longer Nigerian. Presently the man handling the Calabar - Lagos highway is a Lebanese by his skin, but we all know that he is a Nigerian, as he is a citizen and holds a Nigerian passport, even as he has retired to France. Which of the elections in Nigeria have we witnessed less rigging and vote buying. You supported Buhari, right? Have you forgotten how he famously stated that APC used remote control to get Oyetola into office, even as it was clear that APC was losing after the first counting? If a President could openly admit such a disgraceful act, how were the periods between 2003/07 worse? When you use the words “Buhari tsunami”, do you want to pretend about the child voters in the north, who contributed to your imaginary tsunami? Even with the disenchantment instigated by APC in 2014, how would PDP have lost, if not for widespread wayo in the north? The same PDP members of the era that you quoted, include a man called Ibori, who has pulled Delta state into the APC fold, to your enjoyment. The same PDP members of the era include Ganduje and the immediate past APC chairman. Or have you not put them into account? Have you asked them to exclude themselves? |
authority2006:Then why not use concrete with handles, which are permanent and are not attractive to thieves? Why replace every two years, making government spend more in the long run? Must the same contract be awarded every two years? Why the wastage please? |
femi4:It is truly not only innovative, but also very reckless and irresponsible. This is the first time all my life that I heard of such. How would you expect to cover manholes with wood? What happens when it rains? What happens when insects begin to chew them, even with treatment of wood. What happens when vehicles, okadas and bicycles ride on them? Lagos government has set up death traps please. These are open spaces, prone to all horrible conditions. Citizens must be advised to be very careful, especially when it floods. Woods will simply cave in under pressure. If this is practice in the developed countries, we know our own country and how our people live their lives carelessly. Why not use concrete with handles, which is even the best, safest and far less attractive to iron thieves? Whoever brought this horrible idea needs to be checked. Come to think of it, how much of the budget will it take? |
Akpakomiza2:I bet that a lot of you who are shoooking mouth, never knew that name until today. |
So Hakeem Ahmed should shut his mouth, while powers in charge should continue rigging elections? |
We know say we dey for BAT regime, but OP, abeg no pray for Nigeria to get to that level. Sum total is not more than 400 naira. E never worse reach that level yet. |
One can now safely assume that Fubara has finally capitulated and will decamp to APC, as a condition for peace. Moving ahead is a safe way by PDP to retain whatever structure Wike has not destroyed. Is it not time to deal with the issue of decamping legislators once and for all? PDP must sort it out in court. |

helinues:How can you write in Greek when you are not able to write English appropriately? How can you write in Greek, when you do not have the faintest idea about the language? I read and clearly understood all. The fact remains the way I put it to you in my previous comment. |
gidgiddy:100% |
helinues:So truly you have been labouring? So you have been crying secretly after receiving 20k and less? So Obi’s supporters should allow you suffer your hardship quietly, without lamenting to the whole world how miserable your 20k monthly makes life hard for you and others? Thankfully, you have by this proven to the whole world, on the same social media space, that you are suffering and crying silently. Face Tinubu and beg him jejely. |
2mch:Those of you receiving that 20k or less on your own have for long been talking bad about Nigerians. Or have you quickly forgotten how the names that you calked GEJ and his wife? What about Wole Soyinka and the name that he called GEJ? What about Tinubu himself who openly shouted “Obi is a boy”. Social media was used and still used by all of you. Or what about the names that you all have labeled Obi? Or you think that social media starts and ends in your phone? |
Fantastic. Not easy, but God made it easy for her and others who made it. For those who failed, May the next effort favour them. |
He, El Rufai, Tunde Bakare and Atiku should have thought about this when they joined hands with Tinubu to push PDP out of power in 2015. They did not give it a second thought when they labeled GEJ different horrible names. They did not make a single move to stop Wike when he pushed Peter Obi wand Umahi out of PDP. They all sat on their arses, claiming that the umbrella was big enough for all. That’s the same way Saraki took power away from himself when he disputed with his own father and handed over his state to the same APC. How do you expect PDP to move forward when you have cowards who cannot look Wike and Fayose in their faces and effectively deal with them for working openly against their party? They say it is easy to give a monkey water in a cup, but how do you retrieve the cup afterwards? Now that you have effectively put Tinubu on the seat, how can you defeat him? We all heard Tinubu say “get me there”! Now he is there as he wanted. Again, how can the truthful PDP members know who to trust? Even Saraki himself cannot be trusted. With all his words, how are people sure that he does not lobby behind with APC? Nigerian politicians have never been known to have ideologies. They only go with the party in power, just to fill their stomachs. When Trump was defeated, he waited four years in his party and defeated the same man that defeated him earlier. If Tinubu is defeated at the next elections, you will find the likes of Ibori and Okowa telling PDP and Nigerians that they are back home and that APC was a mistake. That said, it remains with the people. If Nigerians feel aggrieved, they should correctly use their PVCs at the next elections. Politicians and parties must earn their electoral victories by fixing our societies and not be rigging or vote buying. The next election in Delta state will see an LP Governor if LP can address the internal issues and not PDP or APC. |
PressMyButton:Patrick Dakum was the gubernatorial candidate and he got 60,000 votes. The score was nowhere near either the PDP candidate or the APC candidate. Telling lies and believing deep lies is the stock in trade of you APC supporters. Stop peddling lies and deceiving your fellow deceived people. |
Expensive there please. |
Uromi again? Una matter don dey tire me o. |
Hopefully all injuries have vanished completely. I pray they will never return again. I also pray and sincerely wish that Joshua wins and retains the belts until he voluntarily retires from boxing. As for Portable, one little brushing from Joshua, not a punch, and it’s goodbye. |
Racoon:They took away the entire PDP structure to APC, these people with.l no morals, honor and principles. Okowa having joined Atiku to spoil the chances of Wike in 2023, has decamped to APC. What a shameless man. The moment Ibori began to frolick with APC and got his daughter to decamp, it was only a matter of time. Ibori it was who got Okowa to move Sheriff and himself to APC. The silent disagreement between Ibori and Okowa in 2022/23, was Okowa’s choice for governor. Do not forget that Okowa was made the governor by Ibori. Okowa himself wants to return to the senate. Ned Nwoko went ahead of him, when Ned decamped to APC last year. Now that position will be hotly contested between Nwoko, Nwaoboshi and now Okowa. Unfortunately for them, LP has come of age and should not have lost that seat in 2023. In all, except their grassroots go with them, they will fail in 2023. |
Eriokanmi:It was not just Atiku. First it was Wike, who has the ambition of becoming the President. Seeing that it was the turn of the Igbos, he ensured that the likes of Umahi and Obi left, therefore opening the door for him to run as an Igbo person from the SS, just like Okowa. Atiku’s desperation and ambition destroyed whatever was left. Infact Atiku has systematically been destroying PDP since 2003, when he started struggling to be the President. OBJ’s error was picking him as his vice in 1999, instead of picking other candidates, who would have been more loyal and less desperate. |
We know that already about the man. Hopefully our laws can be strengthened, so that all these politicians who win elections on the seats of certain parties and then defect to others later, can automatically lose their seats. |
opes:Unfortunately the politics of Delta state is more complicated than you think. |
U |
He is in APC already. Ned Nwoko and Nwaoboshi have a challenge in 2027. However they will all lose to either PDP or LP in 2027. |
SmartPolician:Certainly he is out of government house. The state will definitely return to PDP, even with Okowa defecting to APC. It is impossible to convince people of Delta north to vote for APC , for example. I feel that it is the opportunity Labour Party needs in the state. |
Bobloco:Truly APC is a shameless party. The words of the NSA, whatever they were intended to mean, simply showed shamelessness. Now they tell their blind and gullible followers that the APC regime before them was bad. |
SoftSport:And yet he is a SAN. And when your rights are breached by the likes of Wike, you run to Falana to beg for help? And as a lawyer, has Wike ever won or lost a case that he personally handled in any court? |

Obi your ambition is running you mad.
