s3nn2x: So what's the big deal....she is just 21.......how many years are u? and what class of degree did u graduate with? thats if u have graduated |
OliverPin: NO. Vatican is a church headquarter withing a city inside a Country and Saudi arabia is a country herself which I biliv was formally owned by Arabians b4 the first Jihad saw ur prophet took it by force. Don't bend definitions bruh.you are still on this issue bro. Point of corrections. 1. Vatican is a country. 2. The Prophet(pbuh) was also arabian. I will appreciate it if u argue without sentiments as i have reasons to believe u are learned. Fyi, most what many people know about islam is actually misinformation. |
McLuhan: These tit for tat attacks must be condemned and both sides should be told to exercise restraint. However, I think it's important to remember that the fundamental reason for this violence - a factor which predates even the recent abductions and killings of youths on both sides - is the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and the continued building of Israeli settlements on Palestinian territory. Even as someone who usually supports Israel and who loathes Islamist fundamentalism, I find the construction of settlements on seized land simply unconscionable, especially since the United Nations Security Council has on several occasions declared those settlements illegal. While I sincerely hope for a resolution to the age-old grievances between Israel and its Arab neighbours, I have no reason for optimism. As anyone who has studied the Middle East can attest, these are historical conflicts founded in the religions of these peoples and deeply ingrained in their psyche. Only God can deliver the children of the Middle East. May God deliver them. And u got only 8 likes so far? Smh. Am glad someone like u can shelve their sentiments and say the truth. Most peeps on nairaland comment on issues just without having knowledge of it. I bet many of them are just aware of the conflict because someone has made a post about it and it was moved to front page. Many comments people make on nairaland is a testament to the fact that most of them are no different from what they whine about. I just hope peace return to the middle east. |
As someone said when liverpool trashed arsenal last season, 'i tried to upload the video of the match on a p*rn site, but they dont allow r*pe'... |
Isaacpyo04: The Mosque of Rome (Italian : Moschea di Roma) is thei said vatican, nt italy. |
OliverPin: Vatican is the smallest country of about 0.17 sq. M around 110acres... Mushin(in lagos) should be bigger than vatican if am not wrong and it is enclaved in a wall. Have u checked their population? Not up to a thousand. Visited by both christians and non-christians(including muslims). All facilities available to everyone. Its so small it doesnt have a named street. Am talking of NO single church in the whole Saudi Arabia that's over 5million times bigger and which also has over A million christians and you talking of Vatican city. Plz say something else.... And plz don't question my knowledge abt middle east crisis. Have a Good night sire.saudi arabia is to muslims what vatican is to christians. Size doesnt count. |
OliverPin: A clear difference of Justification is what matters... The Haddith is full of verses that convey hatred" But we christians are no where justified of violence....... Now that's the point. Islam has given babaric people ground to do Bad things and say "God sent Us" now that's not the main point. The main point is "They are Justified by ur teaching that's why the motivation is extra-ordinary. Feel meyour ignorance of the teachings of islam is as much as that of those you accuse of doing these things, all due respect. The verses that relate to fighting were revealed when muslims were being oppressed by pagan arabs and war was being waged on them. The problem is that people qoute these verses out of context for their own benefits. And the media has followed suit. There are verses in the bible to that talks of killing non christians. I think its in Exodus or so. Hw would you feel if some people quote these verses and use it to commit murder and everybody says christians are terrorists because of that? The chirch also say they did it in the name of God. I wonder were their source is from if not the bible. |
OliverPin: have you gone to build there and they say no? There are Over 500 mosques in Italy. Make ur findings. Islam is the second most practised religion in Italy. Meanwhile, there have been works to reduce them. Ask me why.. Because terrorists are among them now. They offend Christiand by praying in front of churches and Burning Isreali flag while praying. Ur religion is full of hate why won't Democracy Stand against them. Na only una dey? Abegi said vatican young man. Cant u read? The west preaches capitalism in the guise of democracy. If people did so well without democracy why wont u let them be? Hw has democracy helped u in Nigeria? On burning of isreali flag? I reserve my comments because I believe u have little knowledge with regards the crisis in the middle east. If someone comes and steal your land today will u stand and watch them. Read more, then we can talk. Most people commenting and talking about hate are now being infected by hate themselves. Muslims do not like violence and do not hate, but if u dont let us be, we will not let u be either. |
People talk of islam as being violent. They like to forget that the Church which is a christian body is responsible for more deaths than most religious organisation. And they commited these murders and other atrocities in the name of God. Most of u will gladly not want talk about it. |
OliverPin: Yall saying ur rights have been infringed read on..... DID YOU KNOW IN SAUDI ARABIA....... 1) There are no churches 2) Christians are not allowed to enter MECCA and MEDINA 3) Jehova witness is Banned permanently 4) You are not allowed to bring in Bible to the country 5) Christians worship secretly 6) If you convert to christianity you are an apostate and deserves to die 7) Missionaries can't enter saidi Arabia MAKE I STOP HERE.... This is just Arabia alone o. Read about, Qatar, Yemen, Somalia, Iran, Malasia, mauritinia, ETC all countries practising SHARIA LAW............. They infringe on Christian right and when them touch them small na war. Peace Indeedplease i would like to know the location of the mosque in the vatican. |
quid: Islam is down, it needs fear no fallkeep knocking....you will get tired of the hating...islam will never be down..and we would not compromise on our faith... |
To all haters of islam, let me tell u this, 'you can keep knocking, but you would never knock islam down'. |

Slept off in class one time in sec sch. The fear of being caught by the teacher brought me back to reality so quick that I believe that was the few times I have ever seen anything so clearly. I remember because the man was actually looking at me. |
SQL server mostly comes with the visual studio you are using. Although you can only browse your database in visual studio if the version is lower e.g visual studio 2008 can show you databases created with sql server 2005. If u intend to use mysql, you wil need a mysql connector that wil communicate between ur mysql engine and visual studio. I did a similar project using ASP.NET/C# and used mysql. |

I wonder why the good citizens of this country and nairaland are wasting their precious time and data to reply him. Leave him alone. When they start losing subscribers and as a consequence fall in profit, what next? Downsizing. By the time his job is at stake, I doubt if he would still feel the same way about his beloved airtel. N.B Hope its still called airtel o, because you never can tell what name they would call it tomorrow. |
The bodies of 87 people, thought to be migrants, were discovered in the Sahara desert in the north of Niger on Wednesday. They died of thirst when their vehicles broke down en route to Algeria. Shafa, a 14-year-old girl from Niger, survived and told the BBC's Newsday programme her story: We were on our way to Algeria to visit family members. There were more than 100 of us in a convoy of two vehicles. Our truck broke down and it took a whole day to fix. In that time we ran out of water. We managed to find a well but there was very little water - one of us climbed down into the well and managed to draw out a tiny amount, but the rest of us went thirsty. The drivers told us to wait while others went to fetch water, but a night and a day later they had not returned. That was when people started dying. Some 15 of us died on that second day without water. We moved on with the dead bodies in the truck. By this time the second vehicle had returned with some water, Alhamdulillah (thanks to God). We came across some Algerian security forces - but the drivers turned around because they didn't want to be caught carrying us since this was illegal. They asked us to hide inside a trench, we spent another night there - so that is three nights in a row without any water. One woman started complaining and one of the drivers used a hose to beat us. Many women and children died. The drivers had some water in jerrycans but kept it for themselves. 'I buried them' From there they took us back into Niger. Our water ran out again. There we were, hungry and sitting amidst corpses in the truck. Once we were in Niger, the drivers removed the bodies from the truck for burial. They laid them out on the ground - mothers first, then their children on top of them. Those of us who were still able to move were told we would be taken back to our village. On the way, we ran out of petrol and they asked us to give them money to buy more. They told us to get out of the car while they went to get the fuel. They never came back. We waited for two days in the desert - no food, no water - before we decided to start walking. Some vehicles passed by, we tried to stop them but no-one would stop. One of the passing cars even knocked down three of our group and killed them. There were eight of us by now, including my mum and my younger sisters. When we got tired, we sat under a tree, and that was where one of my sisters died. We buried her there. Then we continued walking and after a day, my second sister died. Then on the third day my mother died. I buried all of them myself. Rescued None of the vehicles that passed by agreed to stop and pick me up. After a while I found a tree and sat under its shade, almost giving up at that point... then a car came by. I took off my blouse and started waving it wildly. He stopped and asked me what happened and I told him. They gave me some milk, then water and rice cake. I ate a little bit but I couldn't continue, then they made me some tea. It was only then that we carried on travelling towards Arlit, where I was reunited with my grandfather. So here I am - my father died long ago, now my mother is dead, I have no sisters, no brothers. I am living with my aunt. I heard that only myself and a little girl and 18 men survived the journey out of more than 100 of us. Source: m.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-24768560 |
Chubosky: She is not the only one caught up in this web.I ve stopped listening to radio station like wazobia 95.5(or what ever)!!They ve first class when it comes to "murder " of English language. How can you call information;"informate"When you listen to their news report, you can't help but feel sorry for what comes out from that radio station.I beg to differ bro. Communication is not a one way thing. How can pass a message across to someone that cannot hear you? Its just like speaking to a deaf. Even if you are learned, remember that there are alot of people out there whose command of english language is not even close to yours. If all radio stations speak good english, how do you intend to pass information to the large number of conductors, artisans, truck pushers, drivers e.t.c many of whom did not have the type of education you had. |
Very funny thread. I agree what we watch could have effects on us, but isnt this pushing it a bit far. I mean, we all watched Rambo and Terminator as kids, I wonder why we all are not cradling AK-47s. ![]() |

Really true. I dont believe in treating women in the slightest disregard, plus my religion prohibits it. But the author should also knw that there are a lot nice of guys out there willing to treat a woman like a queen. But you do this and the woman will start taking you for a fool. Give a woman 'allow', she would start asking for 'allowance', give them a privilege and they would turn it into a right. Help her to fetch water today and tommorrow she would be like 'honey, can you help me do the dishes?' We would love to help our women, all we ask is that they dont make us regret it. we would love to give them some privacy, all we ask is that they dont abuse it, this also goes for men. Am not guilty of those accusations sha. |
I know we all like being in love and all. And clashes and disagreements are inevitable parts of a relationship but. At times our partner pisses us off so much and hurt us so deep that we start having some thoughts. What i want to ask is does one ever get pissed off at his/her partner to the extent that you start thinking about someone who you should have being with but not with. It may be a person that liked you but you dont care about, or you ex who loved you so much and you broke up with because of silly excuse. Do people really think about the path not taken? |
Eyah....Sorry. To really love someone and then try to 4get abt them is very difficult. You can try to get him to help you understand him. Truth is, dats what men want. But if dat fails, then these should help 1. Find somebody else. This will help fill the void he has created in ur hrt. There is always someone that has a crush on u, bt u dont see them because u are busy loving the wrong person. 2. Try getting rid of evrything that reminds u of him. 3. If you can, remember ur relationship with him, then write everything down. Remember, there is someone for evryone and love is also knowing when to let go. |

And I thought only their customers are complaining abt their inhuman policies. Those banks make giving people job look as if they are giving u a ticket to heaven. Cases of ill treatment of employees are becoming rampant. My question is, what is the NLC doing about it? And why are most employees keeping mute? I understand the threat of dismissal, but the more people that report these messy situations, the better for this country. |
Very sad indeed. But thats what you get when you expose very young children to Western life. |

you can hardly convince them cos they believe they have enough understanding. Allah (God) spoke of this in the Qu'ran thus: "Read in the name of your Lord who created." "Who created man from a clot of blood". "Read! Your Lord is the most generous". "Who taught by the pen". "Taught the human what he(human) did not know". "Indeed, surely the human is very insolent". "That he(human) sees himself sufficed". "Indeed to your lord is the returning." Am sure d christian folks will have also have something pertaining to this. |
