If Peter Obi really wants to be president, Labour Party should be willing to pay people who will work for the party. If possible, set up an account where Nigerians who really want to rescue this country can raise funds. Running presidential election takes a lot of money anywhere in the world.

And for the fact that APC has weaponized poverty in Nigeria, it is easy for them to give voters peanuts and buy their conscience. Therefore, as for Labour Party, giving people gift items, no matter how little, as a way of encouraging them to vote for party during campaigns (not on election day) is not a bad idea.

This is my second reply. Usually, I only read posts and move on to the next. I keep my opinion to myself. But I'm happy to say that people are beginning to get enlightened. The truth is beginning to unfold. But then I still feel that hurt when I see certain Zealots here who are still living in lies. I wouldn't blame them because it was how they were brought up.

I really don't understand the motivation of people who contest under these relatively obscure political parties. It's their an angle that I'm not aware of or do they really think they can win the presidential election under these parties, especially because they're not popular and they should know this. Shouldn't they? I can still understand Peter Obi and Labour party because he has gotten a surge in supporter ship in the last few months.

Please someone should put me out of my misery and tell me why these people contest under these parties.

Learn to separate people from their misdemeanors else you'll end up having too many enemies than you expected. I don't know about others but I had a rethink the moment I learnt of that bullion van saga down to the many not too good things spoken of him in politics and then to his recent health crisis. How we do we explain this that someone who is physically unstable wants to pilot the affairs of a Nation for another 4 or 8years. A good number of the people you mentioned might have similar reasons with me but be careful on your choice of candidates. We are talking about our future in the next 4-8 years here.
