Hello,
What I did was to request that my transcript be sent to my friends office, as if I got a job there and they are trying to verify my credentials.
As soon as it was received by d company, my friend handed it over to me and I scanned it.
Hope this helps

Hope this helps.
Greetings, I have been having issues using the web form; i am trying to upload my upfront medical info sheet. once it gets to the point of clicking on ''NEXT'' where it takes you to where to upload the eMedical information sheet, the thing will just hang! Is there anyone experiencing same too? Or is there something i am not doing right? Thank you. |

elizyous: Good morning all
Please I need your input. I applied for my study visa on Feb 4th. I paid 150cad cuz I stated that I had been refused visiting visa before.
I now got a mail Feb 26th, asking that I pay an additional 85cad for biometrics. I paid same day and uploaded the receipt and no update till now.
Abeg, any reason why it took this long to ask that I pay for Biometrics, I have seen other peoples profile where they get message for bio within a week.
Also, pls whats the next step, do I wait to hear from them again before going for my Biometrics or should I go ahead and book an appointment? |

Thank you so much for your response. To avoid stories that touch, I didnt go ahead with my uncle again. I boughtdollar at black market rate, paid it into my USD account and made part payment for my fees. 8 years ago, I had applied for visiting visa at the canadian embassy and was bounced so I am being careful. Salientjoe: Definitely. Someone can pay the tuition for you over there. How you'll talk about it is at your discretion. If you're not prepared to talk about your relationship with the person that paid, you may just be silent about it.
For me, I only requested and attached to my application a letter from the school stating I had paid the deposit and it sufficed. |

Wow! Such detailed explanation!!! Thank you so much for this. God bless you. I will take him off and focus on me and hubby. Frankrobbn1: Congratulations on the receipt of Admission at University of Alberta. Please don't use your employer as your sponsor, this will reduce your chances of getting approval. There are several concerns from the visa officer that follows using a third party (employer) as a sponsor to an international student. Those questions include:
1. Why is your employer sponsoring you? 2. What have you done for the company and now wants to sponsor your studies abroad instead of Nigeria (a cheaper option). 3. How many years have you been working for this employer? 4. What does the company stands to gain as a result of this sponsorship? 5. Is there any legal agreement/bond between you and your employer that confirm your return to them after the completion of your studies in Canada? 6. Why are you an outstanding candidate amidst other employees in the company? 7. Are the board of directors aware of your employer's intent to finance your studies abroad? 8. Is there any board resolution letter to back up your employer's claim?
Now, you can see the gravity of questions that needs to be adequately answered by your employer if he intends sponsoring your education in Canada. In light of this, you're better off using him as your Uncle while he pays your first year tuition and transfer funds into your personal dorm account to show financial accessibility.
I hope this information is helpful to your inquiry.
It will end in praise |

Salientjoe: Anyone please? I went there and filled the form for mine. They said I should get my hopes up cuz dollar is scarce. They said that it is subject to availability. Can someone over there pay for it on ones behalf? How do we present such transaction while writing the SOP? |

Please I am trying to put together my visa application. I had written in my SOP that myself and hubby will sponsor my study.
Now my uncle in Canada wants to pay part of my tuition. Do you think its a good idea or will it complicate things?

Thank youso much for your response. I am kind of worried about that though cuz I was once refused visa for UK embassy because my boss paid in a huge sum to my account, as an incentive. What I planned to do here was have him pay the sch fees directly as the company's contribution towards training me for a biz line I am to manage upon my return. I have even drafted a training agreement that binds me not to resign from the company for at least 2 years after my program. Please what are your thoughts towards this? I feel that the VO may raise eyebrow at my company paying the lump sum into my account. I await your feedback pls. JustMellow: Hello Elizyous,
From your post, I think its of no essence including your boss to your application. Doing this may lead to further scrutiny, especially from a financial viewpoint.
Since your spouse is in the clear picture to sponsor you, get your boss to have the money paid to you on the basis of work done, incentives, commission, grants etc. Thereafter, you can make payment for your tuition from your account.
Its more realistic and convincing to get the supporting document for such transaction because you work with the establishment. Whence, how staffs are rewarded becomes of no major concern to the VO.
Conversely, except if your spouse isn't financially buoyant and you intend to rather portray your boss as a related individual with good evidence to back your claim. Then, your boss can supply you with documents like CAC, ID, BS, Letter of Sponsorship, Investment Certificates, Proof of Financial Commitment (Tuition payment/Proof of financial transfer), Business Receipt/Tax Certificate etc or as applicable.
Best of Luck |
