You werent wrong and thats why I used the words "completely completed". Just understand that interviews are of two kinds. You have done what is peculiar to you and I dont think you have something else to do further except when they announce the successful candidates. However, you would understand that I didnt use the word interview but rather interviews with an "s". I hope this information is a bit clearer?

I have to tell you the simplest truth, NO PTDF, NO DAAD because its a joint task and PTDF will send names to DAAD...but the good news is that there are other daad scholarships that are not tied to ptdf and you can apply for that one. I wish you all the very best.

Well I cant rule that out as well. Just don't say its over until its really over. Last year, some people got email but were unable to choose a center and later they were told that they weren't shortlisted. and some got email even when they werent shortlisted ab-inition, Just keep your hope alive and dont hit much on yourself. Remember, there is always another day.

I think you should write to the embassy. Sometimes, the delay is mostly from the home office where your husband resides. Your hubby might have gotten a letter from the home office stating that they have gotten back to the consulate general in Lagos, but they are quite smart to also let you know that the decision of visa approval or rejection is not theirs to take so as to shift the blame.
in my opinion, if you decide to write to them which I think is the best thing to do, remember to state your file number, when you had the interview also stating that your hubby has done the needful by submitting all required documents.

I hope you all are doing good. I am still my very self and I am very sorry to have been off for a while and I trust you all are doing good. Just a quick information. I am Ellacity and currently a PTDF scholar, doing my PhD in Germany. Just start getting prepared because the interview usually come like a thief. Two, dont just think you are going for an interview but you have to see it as an opportunity to showcase what you could do and what you know how to do. A good proposal and defense are all it takes. Mine was in Enugu last year and it was as planned. Dont mind the spying eyes of the professors and experts from the field because they dont know everything, so little research throws them off balance. Remember you are in competition and you must use all you have to hit the competition.

Anyways I will give updates as time goes on and you could be one of the lucky ones, congrats for the nominated candidates.

You both transcript are important. The statement of result is good for the interview but not good for admission. So be sure to submit the certificate at the earliest possible time for the processing of your admission, should you become successful

If you have your MSc thesis, that will be good but if you dont, its not a problem. For your MSc certificate/Statement of result, its a must because the template they used in the interview contains score for you certificate. This information is as of 2017 interview for PhD's. My advice is that you better have everything available. The reason is because PTDF is the highest PhD competition I have ever seen in Nigeria.

I guess u have never taken your time to see the application process for those schools in Germany. If you have done that, you will definitely know that applying on daad portal is not the same as applying to those school or contacting them. Most German university use uniassist and some use their personal application page. What is the essence of registering on daad portal without filling the form? It is just synonymous to getting your pin on PTDF page and fail to fill your form. All is well sha

You need not worry. PTDF is bilateral agreement, agreement between two countries, and if you have gone through the scholarship requirement, you will notice that your masters course must be in English language. If the course you selected was listed in the PTDF site, then you have no case at all and definitely the course was in the PTDF site because you cant select a course outside the site, so you shouldnt worry.

Remembered you noticed that the course is in French because you went to their site, I recently checked IFP site & found out this is taught in French & not English but PTDF said they will take care of that. Please kindly go on and prepare for your interview.

Candidates for scholarships in Germany are also required to register with the German Academic Exchange through the following link: https://portal.daad.de/irj/portal
To register means to fill the form because this is bilateral agreement between Nigeria and Germany. Having said that, you dont need to get much worried, because if you are selected, they will open up the form again for you to fill. Just prepare for your interview.

I have to let you know this information as well. It was closed on 31st January 2018, and they later opened it before it was closed again last weekend. What information am I trying to convey to? It will be open again for you to fill your information because German government will train you for 6months on language course, yea, German course, but your masters must be in english language.
