Nigeria will continue to pay for her bad leadership and citizens decisions and actions till Jesus comes. We will never get to enjoy what a normal society has. Instead of solving issues head on,we let them grow until it becomes hydra headed. Cultism that should have been nibbed in the buds since its earlier founders was let to become what it is now; instead of developing the Niger Delta with her resources, we let stay underdeveloped until her citizens took to kidnapping for ransom. Now,look at the business started by militants have become a national export. Something that should have been stopped with proactive actions. Look at what it has become. The whole country is now paying for it. We have spend on insecurity more than what it would have taken to develop the country. "Cunning man die, cunning man bury am!£ |
Ijaya123:You no dey shame u still dey use land mass and population as excuse? But if na to boast giant of Africa yen yen yen,u go brag. una suffered head never do. politicians go colonised una till Jesus go come, una no go ever get to know what it means to enjoy dividends of democracy, rule of law and human rights. |
I don't know, but i respect you the more. There was no better time than that moment in letting that little disgust out that had been eating you up. Glad you own the shit up,too. These days spouses are too scared to spill out truths instead bottle up personal feelings and disgust until it implode; instead of having those moments of truths that help evaluate the position of the relationship. Good a thing, you admit you now love her beyond the age discomforts. So,it is left for her to sit down and salvage the marriage. |
camobri:You needed the whites to tell you gay is right and polygamy is wrong. You can't think for yourself. |
Sarang:See you! Follow follow! You can't reason on your own. Tomorrow when these same white men will tell you gay is wrong, u go still nod head begin follow. |
frozen70:They can't like what they hate, why not respect that too. |
Pokerist:I hope you read the case wasn't in Nigeria where employees can treat their workers anyhow and make the sign their rights away? |
Whether Nigerians are only 1000 in number or not,we should realise the damage a small amount of Nigerians can cause in a place. Few Nigerians, especially the Igbo people can easily incur the hatred of people in course of business due to their self acclaimed smartness. Other than pure crimes, some of them are very exploitative. I have once developed a strong feeling of hatred for the Igbo man due to my encounters with them. Those guys exploited me due to my naivety, selling fake and substandard goods for me with very high prices even higher than the originals. Imagine a foreigner in your community exploiting you with fake and substandard good. And worse part is,they still call you a mugu for falling prey to them. My elder brother has similar hatred and trust issues for the igbo and also Yoruba men, because of the amount he had lost to fraudsters from those places. So,just imagine them bragging with that ill gotten wealth to spite you. In as much as we hate xenophobic treatments from south Africans which may be due to envy,we must equally see other factors like the exploitations of the hosts by our brothers and sisters over there. We all know Nigerians are very smart and hardworking, and it is no wonder these traits become pronounced when it involves crimes committed by Nigerians. We put all of that talent and hard work when we want to be mischievous. |
Sonfethopia:Na true talk o. a retired police man once told us that. He said that considering the amount they make of from extortion,he shouldn't be broke. But that the money leaves just as it comes cos it was not pure. |
MrPresident1:Sir,are you serious? |
paxonel:Guy,there is more to life than meet the eyes. There is a current story in the community that I live. This particular man died and was buried three weeks ago,but soon after strange things started happening so the family consulted an oracle. And there it was revealed that the man was a wizard;he equally was fetish as well, doing a lot of charms to bewitch others. It was also said that he was among a clique that cooked and eat a human being. The intriguing part is,nemesis is catching up with them, that they will all die(most of them are dead already). So,as tradition demands, his body had to be removed from where he was buried to a place assigned for wizards and witches. The astonishing thing was that when the youths tried to exhume his corpse, the thing that was buried deep down the ground was found just few inches into the ground. Nobody knows what brought the corpse upward, but we understand that that's what happens with impure bodies—they don't have peace when they are buried among the good. |
JeffreyJames:Every detail in a writeup is important. "The said guy met her in a club, and she still clubs up till now". It is not natural for him to have trust issues in this case especially on her ability to conceive because of her lifestyle. It is clear he wants proof she can bear him a child even though she already has two. |
liberalchick:Why are you people like this na? You have the liberty to create your own thread about dads who are really deadbeats. just leave this for those who can relate. |

NLmember:The good thing about your nonsense writeup is that it made sense in an entirely different perspective. The topic is about some women manipulating their children into thinking that their fathers are deadbeats. But of course, they aren't. Look! These things happen even if it didn't occur to you. And the OP is referring to those instances. |
See how a well articulated topic has been spoilt by idiots who should be in the caves. This is one topic that would have had meaningful engagement if it were on quora. Well, the truth is that a good number of mothers are not altruistic in their show of love toward their children. Like every other things women easily create competition even when uncalled for, they are in a competition for the child's attention; one which they get and perpetually use. This becomes especially pronounced if their is a friction between the woman and the man. It is as if they book-keep every act of kindness towards the child; they highlight those deeds, trying to reinforce your memory. You remember their acts of kindness more than you do for your dad's. In fact, most mothers' love is a weapon they consciously build and nurture. |
South west is playing a very dangerous game, one that could cost them their future. The kind of trust they put on the north to deliver a SW presidential candidate, rather than creating a unified south that can be politically strong enough to challenge the north, could bring doom upon them. This is a game of Desperation. whoever is more desperate and has the number, would have it. And we can all see that the north is desperate and equally has the number. Everything is politics; don't be surprised if the north team up with the east and ss tomorrow leaving the south west allegiance so long they have more things to gain.? You helped Buhari does not mean that the north owe you anything. |
There was a gender based punishment back then for us. Girls where flogged only on the palm and not buttocks. This was because they (both students and teachers) don't want permanent scars on the buttocks; and also to prevent exposure since girls wear skirts. Whereas, male students were flocks both palm an buttocks. |

Antichristus:Sharrap! There are countless numbers of Nigerians doing legitimate works,at least you saw from the videos that the barbaric South Africans weren't looting drugs or guns as they accused us that we engage. You saw provisions, foodstuffs and all that. So,the question is,why should legitimate foreign traders be attacked and killed? |
RexTramadol1:Boss, nothing personal sha, las las we go dey alright. |
AKAWORLDWIDE:I personally do not care if you fence your country, and puts a technology that identifies Nigerians and shoots them at sight anyone trying to enter the country. But for those Nigerians already in your country now,it is your duty to deport them safely to Nigeria. |
